I wouldn't live anywhere near OKC. The city itself gets an average of 5 tornados a year, but the county itself has had 130 tornados in the last 70 years, 20 of them ef3 and above. Can you imagine?

@@deathbloom27 I can imagine, I live an hour south of there. Oklahoma is definitely a hotspot for tornadoes.

El Reno, Moore, and OK city are top tier A class tornado city's for f5s with two. One in El Reno's case(even though 2013 was every bit an ef5). But there's only one city making the S class. That's Tanner Alabama with 3.....tornados are evil when they are f5. I'm convinced. The Moore f5s crossed paths in an X. And in a very disturbing pattern, the Tanner paths are all side by side. Looks like a claw mark....just saying

what "appears to be a tornado"??????????????? THAT IS A 100% TORNADO!

They don't officially call it a tornado until it's been evaluated by the NWS damage surveyors. There's a lot of logistics surrounding it, they can't state anything as a fact when they're not 100% sure whether it's a tornado, just a funnel, a land spout, etc. it's not up to them to classify it, they don't have the qualifications for that.
