As a fellow musician and daughter of a funk musician, I definitely feel it. Tori's chords in the intros, coupled with the drums, especially with Matt's tribal-esque drum kit totally enhances the feel of this song. I was dancing like a banshee when my husband and I saw this live. #ToriAmosRocks

Not necessarily that song though I do love the Amerie song 1Thing. (Side note: Hozier does a GREAT cover of it live! Check it out on here.) Those of us connected to both music and our Womanhood know EXACTLY what drives this, the force, lol. I think I especially love when she sings everybody knows I'm her friend, everybody knows I'm her man. She and Beenie had such a strong bond . (RIP Nancy 'Beenie' Shanks). And a lot of times we have to speak up for ourselves as both sexual beings and as women and command what we want in the exchange . So there you are.
