But I'm experienced, Bard, I'm experienced babe, shoot out now (how)... Get fired now work up a whine, you just dont know what you're doing well... And drew Little Earthquakes, your life story... Excuse me, got thee, and Christ, I know, you never shoot Me .. sometimes I hear my voice and it's been He, silent awe these years. What so mazing about really deep thoughts, my scream got lost in a pay per Cup...here....silent awe....silent awe... Silent all these years....

"Me and a Gun" was one of the first times that, as a male, I became aware of the impact and horror of sexual violence. Skip forward 30-ish years, and I'm a counselor specializing in trauma and worked for 6 years on a SA crisis line. Butterfly effect right there.

Tori’s talent is clearly audible on this album, even if the image and style are imposed on her. Today you listen and wonder why it didn’t take off, because there are real hits there. Poor promotion and the band's breakup contributed to poor record sales, but perhaps that was for the best.

I never had the album and bought it in the last few weeks and I really do enjoy it. It's pretty great and there are preludes in parts of the Tori we came to know on Little Earthquakes. She puts it so eloquently here.
