As a forty six year old straight white male I have been educated , motivated and mentally liberated bi proxy thanks to Toris beautiful lyrics and the compassion she always projects. I can honestly say that although I am in no way bigoted I was not always as delicate with my speech and completely ignorant about the struggles our gay and transgender brothers and sisters unfortunately have had to cope with not to forget the survivors who have found the love and support from RAIN. Frankly there are so many of us who owe a debt of gratitude .Tori has been an inspiration and life saving voice who when all the other voices spoke of anger , hate and self destruction there was the soft angelic voice pulling me back from the dark void that came so close to destroying me. I took my Brother to see the Manchester UK gig needless to say he now gets it .

Such a great, intelligent interview. Could have watched for ages longer. Tori's interviews are so much richer when she's chatting to an interviewer who understands and works with the frequency she operates on.

Wow, what a great interviewer, Laura Heywood is so enthusiastic, and you can tell she is a fan. Great positivity.

"Don't speak unless you can improve upon the silence" is a saying I love. It's also important to keep in mind that, like many other lands, culture is not uniform but changes across the peoples.

I have always absolutely adored Tori Amos. She has been a major inspiration and muse for 30 years ... and counting ! xx

If there is a person I would like to meet and have a talk with, it is Tori. She has such intelligence and energy about her. She commands space but it's not through frivolous lines. Everything has meaning, depth and wisdom, the sound of experience.

Right? I have many theories on this one. One is that she understands what it's like to feel like an outsider, and she gives us a space to feel included when society has yet to really do a good job of that.

I’d rather see Tori’s eyes without those glasses. She’s holding up well despite the years. Of course, plastic surgery helped. (Perhaps maybe a little too much?) But regardless, I was a huge fan of this woman back in the 90s and still have great respect for her talent

Cornholio She is a fantastic interviewer?

saying all your music comes from ¨the muses¨ is just an excuse to get away with making another bad album. maybe tori should start ¨channeling¨ herself instead; if that makes any difference. ...and while she´s at it maybe she should start ¨channeling¨ god in order to help her stop with the over-production; and work with the right people; even the visuals/graphic design suck on this album, though the idea of a forest fire is not as bad as its execution in the form of the final album-artwork. i wonder if her record label pushed her to deliver more music, on a deadline.
