I can’t see where this story can go from here The scene at the end where they are on the bus naturally concludes the end of part 1. Hopefully, the beginning of part 2 is in production. We need to know what happened next. Do they become a “couple” or does he get cold feet.....or are they secretive about their relationship? Does he get a promotion to a bigger branch? Peter please put us out of our misery and tell us that there will be a series 3.

When I worked in an office many years ago, a new lady started and we got paired up so I could train her on all the systems and procedures, technical knowledge etc (was for an oil company) and we clicked straight away, much as in car share. I was bit of a nerd, a geek, and she was very pretty and bubbly, chalk and cheese to look at us together, anyway training was a lot of fun, we laughed and felt at ease but wasn't thinking of her in any other way. We started going on same breaks and lunches, and eventually after a week, she just came out with how she felt about me but was already with someone at the time. I accepted that, and continued to work together, I loved being with her but was hard because I knew she wasn't single, and I would never try to split anyone up. One day her fella came to pick her up from work, and was shocked to see he looked like me, so then I knew why she liked me. She left after a few months, I was really upset the day she went as I hugged her in the office for one last time (we often hugged, she said I could at anytime, I adored her). She was called Lynn. I often wonder how she is or where she ended up, have tried looking on Facebook but no luck there. I still think about what might have been if she had been single.

Simon George Can empathise; I had something very similar. She was with someone who looked like me, talked like me, same humour and everything, and she’d often mention how she slipped into ‘couples mode’ because he was so much like me (rather than the other way around).. and her sister let slip once too. But it wasn’t to be. Maybe you can connect with someone from those times that has an idea how to contact her? It’s a tricky subject, retracing the past. But letting it go isn’t always entirely possible either. Either way I hope it works out mate. 🤞
