Top Three Fishing Lures for the SKYWAY Fishing Pier!

Спорт

Here is a video showing you my top recommended fishing lures from the Skyway fishing pier, they are also effective on any Florida pier. My first choice is the good ole Gotcha lure, the gotcha lure is a pretty fundamental lure, its sleek profile and heavy weight make it a great lure for novice and professional fisherman. Cast the plug out and work the lure back varying your retrieve. The key is to make sure you use very little slack to prevent bite offs. My second choice is a small buck tail or jig. My success with the small jig is the erratic jigging motion, work it fast and find success. My very last option is a Clark spoon and a trolling weight. This rig has proven, time and time again that it works. Cast it out, allow it to sink and reel very fast, once the spoon comes to the surface, allow it to sink again and repeat. These three lure options are the most effective from piers. If you would like to share your choice of lures, please don't hesitate to comment below. Be sure to give this video alike, share and please do subscribe if you haven't already.

The bigger fish we were catching were getting taken off by dolphins. My question is, is the South side of the pier better for fishing then the North side?

On the spoon, 30 yards is a little long to cast underhanded on the bridge .normally with the trolling sinker wound up to the tip with small taper on leading edge ( because the large end first looks to much like bait and you get cut offs ) you should use 20 lb Florocarbon or Vanish floro to keep them from seeing it . run line down to the handle of the rod and back to the tip . then tie on spoon .10 foot or better will work fine . and it will store on your rod better . also the white crappie jig 1/8 tied at the two ends of 3 foot of vanish 20lb line , then a loop knot tied with the two jigs staggard just a inch away from even . then tie the loop to your rod line . you can make the jigs look like glass fish walking the zig zag . I miss Paul Bristow and giving him my information of the day .
