...the movie was so good...... intense and emotional....... but could anybody explain......? how mav and rooster were communicating with hangman from 1 plane to another........ just after hangman ruined down the opponent's aircraft........? i mean mav and rooster were flying enemy's toy...... so how the F*** the 2 planes of 2 different natures were in conversation with each other.....? and if that is possible.... then why in the 1st place...... the 2 enemies aircrafts were talking with hand gestures instead of radio when they thought mav and rooster were on their side......?

@@HaiderAliKhan Can't answer your question as to how hangman was able to communicate with Mav and Rooster on an enemy F14, but I'm pretty sure when the enemy pulled up on Mav and Rooster, Mav signalled to them that they had a dead radio, hence they could only communicate with handsigns.

Tears dropped during watching TOP GUN are the MANLIEST TEARS

When he got his bar bill from Penny, he had to hold it at arm's length to read it. It means he can't focus on things close up and probably has difficulties reading the cockpit displays.

Probably he suffers presbyopia, normal at the age of Tom Cruise. Or the director of the film likes to let us believe so. - I only need new spectacles, my master optician told me, while his assistant warns me not to drive a car without spectacles. But my daughter asks rhetorically:"Do you drive a car?" because I'm riding a motorbike 🤣 I can feel the speed, no need for reading cockpit displays.

Fun fact. Tom Cruise has Dyslexia. He grew up struggling, but learning to get past it made him into the awesome actor he is. All the producers and directors he worked with early on said he had a laser focus

"You told me not to think!" got a huge laugh in my theater. This is a great movie, and you made a terrific video on it!

I took my on a time travel back in the 80s and I watched it with the same guy I watched the original one.

Oscar is waiting... for best film, best story, best performance, visual, edit, sound, even cinematography

Life isn't always a thinking mans game.

This is what Hollywood COULD churn out routinely if they wanted... but have chosen not to. This story is a masterpiece. And I wasn't a huge fan of the first Top Gun. The drama was so well done, the humor hit the mark every time, and the action... please. And I love that the entire thing could be Maverick's fleeting thoughts during the last moments of his life in the opening scene. I DID NOT think I'd like this and didn't see it in the theater! Please bring it back to the big screen!

Well, since you have critical lense over it so let me share a coin from my side.. Underground structures don't have gates or HVAC vents the way it had been depicted in the movie . A dir hit won't have desired effects

i am in tears! chills ran up and down my whole body during this. the cut from “It’s time to let go.” to “Time is your greatest enemy” made my breath catch in my throat. this is an absolutely stunning edit. a beautiful tribute to the film of the year and one of the best of all time. 💙✈️

@@HaiderAliKhan to my understanding, mav and rooster were unable to communicate with their enemy because rooster didn’t know how to work the radio, being that he was unfamiliar with the old technology. after the main dogfight, he then pulled some switches and got the radio on. in order for mav and rooster to communicate with hangman, they just had to be on the same frequency. i’m guessing rooster knew which frequency they typically communicate on, and automatically tuned into it once he got the radio going.

Maverick retired like a legend. This was a very emotional movie.

Saw this in movie theater, July 19, 2022!! THE BEST EXPERIENCE, I'VE EVER HAD!! ONLY Tom Cruise could have pulled this off!! Best Actor OF ALL TIME!!

Hondo has the most amazing part in this movie. Supportive all the way. Always there for the pilots. Loved this movie.

FYI: what "Don't think, just do" means is you practice until your plane (or whatever tool you use) is a part of you.

One of my absolute favorite movies. I can’t stop watching it over and over.

I have seen this movie 6 times in theater. I was there first day and saw it again few weeks back when it ran in Regal ! In between these saw it 4 times . What an awesome movie ! Its a pity Oscar snubbed this movie !
