why volvo pulled out of supercars is beyond me.The s60 was super competitive, looked stunning, and sounded so unique. Plus with scotty behind the wheel, I was a hardcore volvo fan from the start. It's really a shame. I wonder if it had anything to do with the sale to Geely

Probably not. In my opinion, it's a market-relevance thing. That's why Nissan pulled out: the majority of their sales come from SUV and utes, not sedans.

Volvo absolutely a success given the time it had

Goes to show how good scotty is, and now that he’s in the top machinery, he deserves his championship

He's an exciting driver to watch, that is for sure. It says a lot that all of Volvo's best moment have been with him as well.

Scotty is just pure driving talent

That is honestly so exhilarating, I felt like crying for joy and waking my whole family up at three in the morning to show them this amazing thing!!! AWE!!! I want to be a part of it so bad!

Such a good looking little car. And they just let them disappear into obscurity. Such a shame.

Best sounding V8 ever

So history lesson time, Reason why the Volvo V8 engine Is special is that its a Yamaha built engine, same engine is in a Noble M600 sports car which does 0-100km in 3.1sec, so credit goes to the Japanese engineers for making a interesting 60degree V8 to suit the Volvo xc90 originally, see my channel to hear the sound these V8 make

i wish vovlo was in more series i this swedish brand raced more maybe here again or in formula e in future

I like Volvo, love Scotty more, Dahlgren was the best they could offer and he was a nice bloke but wasted in the car, would love to know why they really pulled out of Aussie Motorsport again, might be a Scandinavian tease every 20 years or so

Just plucked in first and gave it some jandal..? lol

i know this is probably going to be an unpopular opinion. but was Scotty in the volvo like it was with fernando alonso at ferrari in 2012. Scott was the only driver to deliver good results for volvo so was it a mix of scott being good and the car being fast, or was it scott dragging the car to results it didn't deserve?
