The polestars make AMG look like playthings. I really wouldn't underestimate them. But there's a general consensus that we all miss the days of the inline 5. That thing was a beast.

Volvo Cars and Volvo Group is not the same company at all though. They split in the 90ths when Ford bought the car part of the company.

The engine of a truck dosen' t allow it go very fast, becaus of its heaviness and that it does' not take much RPM just watch the gearbox if my memory is good it s a 10 gear transmission on the iron knight and even if it was possible to put this engine in a car ,the tires could' nt support the power

I don't have a Polestar, but I still absolutely LOVE my 2011 Volvo S60 T6 AWD even if it is a mouthful lol even though it's 10 years old it still is a sweet looking vehicle and is so fun and comfortable to drive.

Can someone explain why the two vehicles had such a large difference in start time? I tried looking up time trials to see how this would affect things, and all I could find was what I thought from video games -- just your individual lap time.

So the truck is faster in a straight line, but at the track it is a lot slower than the car in a straight line :-D

tiadaid Think most people are aware, but both companies are still "Volvo" and it is just a race :). However both companies HQ is still located in Sweden. And just because it's chinese now, doesn't mean we don't take pride in the car part. Since that is the only difference here in Sweden, and we still have all the factories it is not noticeble really. I still see it as a Swedish company even though it's not. I work on the car engine plant btw :).
