I'm going to put a few large caveats on Ryan's game vs the Packers: 1. The Packers preferred #1 CB was Sam Shields, who was signed as an UDFA. Their #1 CB in that game was LaDarius Gunter, also a UDFA 2. Most of the Packers caught the flu the week prior to the game 3. That team was all Rodgers and exemplified the "we don't need to invest in the team, Aaron will bail us out" mentality of the Ted Thompson Packers.

Now we just need to adjust QB stats for having TDs taken away from them because running plays were called near the goal line (Troy Aikman syndrome) and QB stats being inflated for vulturing TDs away from running backs (Cam Newton)

Cam newton’s run to sb 50 was pretty epic. Unfortunately he was just too good to jump on a fumble. Probably just distracted thinking about what stupid outfit he was gonna wear after the game.

Thought Ryan would come in first, although in the NFC championship game the Pack had pretty much run out of cornerbacks when they beat Dallas - in what was also the closest the Cowboys have got to a championship game since the nineties.

You have a pretty cool system there, Barry. I hope we get to see more demonstrations to account for system accuracy. Maybe a video comparing the value of a quarterback who thrives when run (Newton, Jackson, Vick, Hurts, Allen) to quarterbacks who is elite through the air (Take your pick) would be an interesting video.

They were within a score of tying, so not meaningless yards. There is a reason that the fumble sealed the game, as without the fumble, the pats still had a opportunity to tie the game.

@@EpixSt33Lz At the end of the first half, he threw two wide-open check downs that went for nearly 50 yards with a few seconds on the clock and no timeouts. On the last drive, all the Eagles defense was trying to do was not allow the Pats to get major pass plays, so Brady had easy throws to add nearly 50 more yards. So yes, his passing yards were padded.
