I can agree with some of your picks, but definitely not Bowser’s Castle in PiT, there’s just something about that specific area that makes it pretty memorable for me. Tho I definitely agree with you choosing the starting area of Dream Team.

For some reason I forgot about Gritzy Desert when I was trying to remember the places I still haden't been to when replaying PIT recently. And with BIS, the place that made me go "oohhhh yeah this area existed.." was Energy Hold, where Bowser shines light through himself and that makes blocks appear or disappear

I can’t agree with the flab zone at all. The only place I’d consider for BiS is the underground tunnel. 5) I’ll actually put BiS underground here 4) That forest area from Paper Jam... whatever it’s called. 3) Twinsy Tropic 2) Hollijolli Village 1) That forest area from PiT... whatever it’s called

I never forgot about Stardust Fields. I find areas like the Guffawha Ruins more forgettable. When the music for Baby Bowser's Castle started playing, I knew that it was from Partners in Time but didn't know where it was from. This is one of those areas where I wish we could visit present areas and travel in time through them. Bowser's Castle and Pi'illo Blimport have the same problem to me where there are areas that overshadow them (Neo Neo Bowser Castle and Pi'illo Blimport). And I had no idea what happened in the Flab Zone even after you named it.

@@ShroobInvader Yeah, it isn't really a full area. That's like the problem with Pi'illo Blimport. It has a side area level of substance but is considered a full area.

1. SS: Gwafaha Ruins 2. PiT: dunno haven't played 3. BiS: Bumpsy Plains 4. DT: Piilo Airport 5. PJ: Literally every area except for a couple ones

the reason why the bowser's castle is forgettable it's because you literally only access it for a limited time until it becomes neo bowser's castle i literally can't remember a single thing from bowser's castle AT ALL

Great video, In my opinion, in Superstar Saga, Oho Oasis is more forgettable than Stardust Fields and for Bowser Inside Story, Bumpsy Plains and Bowser Path are the kings of forgetfulness.

I agree with everything except 5. I think the most forgettable place in Superstar Saga is either Guffawha Ruins or Oho Ocean.

@@tankofyah7998 weee those like the jungle and bean areas in the game cus I got stuck in the bean world which is after doop doop doons or whatever it’s called like the mountain place. So yeah after I beat the mountain place I got stuck on that bean world for like a year or two and ended up maxing out my characters to like lvl 40 the only reason I got stuck there for so long is because I couldn’t find the little exit gate that leads you to one of the popple fights.

Im so glad Koopaseum didn't make the list, for an area that has no enemies, it's just insanely cool-between the music, atmosphere, and current events of the game

I disagree with the Flab Zone. I've always loved the music, and the place intrigued me when I first played through it. The enemies were very annoying to fight, but apart from that, I liked playing through the area and it's most definitely memorable to me. (The rest of this comment is simply what I would pick for each game and where I would place them) My pick for Bowser's Inside Story would be Bumpsy Plains or Cavi Cape. My pick for Partners in Time would be Hollijolli village. I have little to no memory of this place despite playing through it a few times. Apart from that, I agree with the list. I forgot Stardust Fields existed during my third playthrough of Superstar Saga. I actually have to think back on when I visited Blimport to remember anything about it, despite playing through Dream Team, what, 7 times maybe. And, now, playing through Paper Jam for my third time (haven't reached the Castle yet on this playthrough), all I can remember about Bowser's Castle is that you have a mission with Toadette and you fight Bowser Jr. and King Boo's papercraft. One last thing, I would swap Stardust Fields with Blimport, since I find Blimport slightly more memorable.

Interesting list. I'd say I agree with three of your picks, those being Baby Bowser's Castle, Pi'illo Blimport, and Bowser's Castle from Paper Jam. Here's what I would pick for each game: Superstar Saga - Oho Oasis: This place is really nothing more than the area where you get the hand abilities. At least the Beanbean Airport and Stardust Fields have a boss fight, which makes them a bit more memorable imo. Partner in Time - Baby Bowser's Castle: I'd pick this for basically the same reasons you listed. It also is probably the most generic area. Despite being in the past time, it doesn't feel much different from any other Bowser Castle. Bowser's Inside Story - Trash Pit: Just a generic tutorial area. Once you get out, you never have any reason whatsoever to go back again. The Flab Zone is also pretty unmemorable and can be a pain to navigate, as you said, but it definitely has more substance to it than the Trash Pit. Dream Team - Pi'illo Bimport: Not really anything to say here beyond it just being another tutorial area. Paper Jam - Bowser's Castle: To be fair, almost all of Paper Jam's areas are pretty forgettable, but this one is even more so since, as you said, it gets overshadowed by Neo Bowser Castle later in the game.

The areas I did not like was Plack Beach and Bubble Lake because of how annoying they were with the enemies that follow you EVERYWHERE.

Here's an idea. Top 5 most unmemorable paper mario areas. I can't give suggestions from other games than Origami King as I haven't played them yet (i mean I have played the demo for Paper Bowser a rom hack of PM64 but those don't count) but if I had to suggest one area from Origami King that's just plain unmemorable, it's what I like to call ; House Of Tricky Ninjas - BTS Room (BTS as in Behind The Scenes not the Korean boyband). All you do there is find Luigi and maybe free one or two Toads. That's it. You'll probably forget it the moment you walk away from the House Of Tricky Ninjas for about 2 seconds.

this is mostly of what a youtuber has said, but I do kinda think that that area (at 7:08) isn't unmemorable, simply because, T H E R E A R E S O M A N Y T U T O R I A L S, and when the tutorials of that area are done, not all the tutorials have been shown to you. The youtuber I talked about summed up what I saw trying to say much better (its at the number 1 entry of this video kzread.info/dash/bejne/q391k8-zYKjVk9I.html (the entry starts at 16:02)). TLDR: lots of tutorials make the area unforgettable

I personally go through stardust fields a second time when I go to the blablanadon to get to bowsers castle. That might just be me though.

So as a kid, I never knew how to beat swiggler so for me, the areas I went to were the village, bowsers castle, and toad wood forest, and yea bowsers castle was super boring, also your super right on flab zone, I dread going there cause it’s just so boring to me

I found Guffawah Ruins to be the most unforgettable as there is barely anything there.

Imo the twinsy tropics dungeon is more forgettable than Bowser's castle

I pretty much agree with this list, especially PIT, DT, and PJ. The Flab Zone is my least favorite area in BIS, but that doesn't even make it memorable for the wrong reasons. Stardust fields, however, I disagree with. Superstar Saga definitely has fairly memorable areas in general, and I think Stardust Fields just stands out in the grand scheme of first areas. But I think that Gwarhar Lagoon is a more forgettable area for sure, the only things I remember are the fact that you learn the Dash and "Tickle" abilities, and the Hermie III bossfight.

Baby bowsers castle in PiT was oddly memorable for me when i hadnt played it since i was 5 years old, but i plame it on somehow being stuck fighting the same boom guy for a really long time 💀

For me I forgot about the doop dunes Paper jam. The only thing I remember is the papercraft goomba battle.

Dead-Eye Bill; A Bullet Bill with a bronze shell and some snazzy shades and wields fire bars in each hand like lightsabers, also has the flight capability of an Arwing. Wacky Bro; A Hammer Bro that has a few lose screws, but makes up for it since he can wield all the projectiles that the basic variants can throw along with a new projectile; the Thunder Ball, which will go in a straight direction, but will fire bolts of lightning in different directions. He has a multicolored shell and helmet which are covered in spikes, along with some swirly glasses. Lil' Naval: a reincarnation of the Naval Piranha Plant from Yoshi's Island. Has the ability to spit Fire, Gust of Wind, Ice, and Poison. This plant has two forms; Rooted Form and Roaming Form. Roaming Form; allows Lil' Naval to move around place to place very quickly and quietly as a small plant. In this state he can climb on walls and ceilings like Spiderman, dig underground, and even pickpocket anyone and anything. Rooted Form; Lil'Naval More powerful form. Makes him a huge plant and gets vines to grab things and also obtains two more piranha plants for some extra fire power. Origin Story: These three minions boarded one of Bowser airships that was sent to scout for rumored uncharted territory that has not been claimed by any Kingdom. During The Scouting mission all of a sudden Mario comes out of nowhere raids and takes down the airship. When the report crew was sent to check the wreckage of the airship for survivors, they could not find anyone. But by the time the three Minions that boarded on the ship managed to get out of the wreckage the report crew was already gone. Left alone in this Uncharted Territory the trio decides the travel together through these lands in Salvage what they can find to become stronger to achieve two goals; 1 to return to their beloved King, to to get revenge on the man that brought them into this situation; Mario.

Honestly, I can argue Shroob Mothership being the most forgettable area in Partners in Time. You only travel there once, you can’t go there again, you only fight 1 enemy, no bosses, it has the same music as the beginning cutscene, and it’s more so a transitional area than anything else. The 3 standout things are the background, the cutscene where Peach is revealed to be a fake, and this is the only instance of permanently missable beans. At least with Baby Bowser’s Castle, it is a revisitable area, and it is notoriously boring with tutorials. There’s also more enemy variety with 3 notable enemies that is new to this area.

I love BiS but any area that plays the song from the underground tunnel makes me not want to be there. The song is just so lonely and depressing.

Like you could just have the bros land in star diat fields see the colbolt star is reacting strange then they would follow it to the top of the hill

...my god, only by seeing the first bit of the 4th entry did I realise that that area is where u find a star piece, seriously, every other place has some cool... T H I N G that basically says "ye, a star piece gonna be here, it gonna make sense cause of the coolness of it" but with the one in the 4th entry area, it just feels like u got it for completing the tutorial, which doesn't feel right

Very off topic but I am trying to beat paper jam without dodging. Just beat king Boo and then I remembered the Lemmy Iggy and Morton fight at the very end of the game. I wasted most of my life on a little challenge I wanted to do that I realized is not possible… :( Ps: you should have put Peach’s castle for paper jam. Well you didn’t have to. I just thought that peach’s castle is not that long so yeh…

SS: didn't played. PiT: Bowser's Castle. Nothing really interesting. Boring theme, tutorials and ennemies BiS: didn't played it dince a while but the sections with Mario and Luigi inside Bowser in general always felt boring to me and less interesting to explore than the overworld with Bowser. DT: the cave area unfer the bridge between Pi'illo Castle and Mushrise Park. Kinda unnecesery part that's only drag out the game. Dreambert could have been introduced in one of the two places aforementioned. PJ: Twinsy Tropics. What's even the point of creating this place ? There's literally nothing happening here !
