If there’s one thing I think Sticker Star got right with its bosses, is that most of them are beatable (Though it takes a lot longer) without Thing Stickers. But here, every major boss except for Bowser is completely, 100% impossible to beat without Thing Cards and it’s pretty annoying. Lemmy is easily the most egregious of this since he requires not one but TWO of them for his battle (Granted one of them is in the room right before his fight, but still).

oh Hold up, Ima have to heavily disagree with you on chapter 3. Chapter 3 is PEAK Paper Mario. One of the best chapters in the *Series*. The tension and build up is palpable. You get not one, but TWO bangers of a 'dungeon' with fun puzzles abound. Tubba Blubba is menacing and his chase after you is Stressful and TERRIFYING. Easily one of the most memorable chapters across the series.
How would you rank the bosses in Bowser's inside story remake?
I'm surprised he didn't get the pajama pun with Mount Pajamaja's name

*My thoughts* 12) As a dream Team Fan... I do get why it's the worst. I wish it was better. Though, I feel like Dreamy Mario is also a first boss in its own right. 11) Goomba Bros is part one while Goomba King is part 2 of the boss fight. 10) Hammer Bro Duo (SMRPG) I like this battle. It's a basic boss, but it works. You do have only Mario, which makes sense. 9) Kamek 1 (I think Bowser Junior 1 technically also counts as the first boss) 8) at least he gets harder in later battles. 7) Tolstar is decent 6) yeah... This TTYD boss is disappointing. i wish the blooper was a unique Blooper enemy. 5) L33T Hammer Bros is a tough battle and one I remember struggling. 4) Morton Tough! Morton Strong! Morton MorTons! 3) Origami King above TTYD (I am happy for that.) 2) Petey Piranha has one the eat attack if the bros attack I struggle to dodge. 1) should have been number 2 This boss is actually why I dislike the boss music in this game. I wish the boss music was slightly different for Bowser and it changed during the bros segment of the Bowser boss fights. Original and Remake don't even do that.

It wasn’t showcased here because I think when the attack finished mario’s hp was at 0, but for the petey fight in paper jam when he grabs and eats you he actually keeps you in his belly. I just think it’s interesting the first boss has a move that can temporarily remove a party member from battle and a little funny with how it’s done too. I don’t remember if you have to just wait a turn or two or attack him a certain amount of times to get them out of petey’s belly tho.
My personal ranking is: Bombette Parakarry Kooper Goombario Lackilester Sushie Bow Watt I only ever used Bombette when i needed her to break a wall, and during chapter 3 against clefts. Parakarry is alright, i never usually used him though so yeah. Kooper is nice for taking out many floor enemies but thats about it. Goombario is nice for bosses with his charge but i usually end up using watt for bosses. Lackilester is introduced way too late but i like spiny surge, plus cloud 9 is really nice. Sushie has water block so shes good. Bow has veil i mean outta sight, which is basically a 2nd mario turn. Watt peirces defence which is very nice, and i like paralyzing enemies.
Grobot was a cool early game boss in my opinion
I really liked and hated beef cloud, he is THE damage sponge by excellence but it's also a pretty unique design boss
Other thing about smoldergeist is that he basically get no lore, he just look a bit like antasma and that's all
One reason i believe people hated the Zeekeeper Gyro controls is there was a HUGE bug in the North American Release that made that part impossible to move in, basically making it much harder then needed (thankfully nintendo did fix this)

My big beef with the Giant Bowser fight was that you need to finish him off with the star flight attack. Thing is, we only ever used it in one other fight before that, so I had gotten rusty with it. I'd mostly gotten used to the other mechanics of giant battles by then, but the star finisher still felt new to me, and there was no way to practice it readily since it was at the very end of the fight. So I kept failing at the final stretch, allowing Bowser to whittle me away. Never got past that boss.
I knew from the start Mammoshka would at least be in the Top 5. He’s MAMMOSHKA, he’s probably the most iconic non-final boss in this whole game The moment I hear “Never Let Up”, I think Mammoshka
Where does the Bowser Junior fight land on this list?
A lot of people have actually asked this so I'll answer it, I have only fought the boss once. I don't like the Battle Medley I find it annoying, BUT I do really like Bowser Jr as a fight. I think it would rank probably 1 under Mammoshka if I had to guess?

Here's a cool story: I had to play the elite trio fight 3 times because my game kept popping out and removing all my progress
Wanna know an even darker thing? There is a chance of all this repeating in future As seen in Bowser's Inside Story, none of the shroobs (including princess and Elder princess) are actually killed They are frozen in Bowser's Castle's basement And not to mention, they can be unfrozen without an outside force as seen in both Bowser's Inside Story and Bowser Jr's Journey So, one day, they probably will get unfrozen and the invasion will restart I'd actually see that happening in side story, if Partners In Time gets remake Like, instead of taking at same time as PIT, maybe after a certain time in M&L timeline, maybe after Brothership if it's taking place after Dream Team And this time, babies won't be there to help the bros save the day Either Bowser is gonna need to work with them, or they need to find something strong
9:57 Actually, these attacks ARE different. Although the difference doesn’t matter in this fight, the red shell will isolate on the targeted enemy, hitting them until they are defeated or the move finishes. The move isolates a new nearby target if they are defeated before the move finishes. The green shell on the other hand targets all enemies on the field (prioritizing non-arial targets I think, but don’t quote me on that), the move ending with either the last hit or when all melee enemies are defeated.

My ranking personally 1. Bow (Bow is the best party member in the game without question, she can basically give mario a free turn with outta sight and in Paper Mario 64, mario has FAR more options than partners. You have more chances to stay at low hp and abuse the power rush/mega rush badges. Other than that everything else you said is spot on) 2. Watt (Easily the best base move in the game, 5 damage that can pierce all defense is super good, that alone makes watt one of the best party members but Mega Shock makes her even better) 3. Sushie (Tidal Wave is so broken it can crash the game! Refer to the parakarry section if you want my reasoning for this one, but other than that Sushie is theoretically the most powerful partner if you were perfect with tidal wave) 4. Goombario (Multibonk is good but its cap is bugged however he can do the most single target damage out of any partner which is why i think he’s better than the ones below him) 5. Kooper (Underrated imo, dizzy shell is a super busted move as if it lands you can get a bunch of free turns and fire shell destroys chapter 7) 6. Bombette (High damage moves that can easily deal with enemies on the field) 7. Parakarry (When you really think about it, parakarry is mechanically a worse version of Sushie, tidal wave can do more damage than air raid if you’re good enough, and water block is a better super rank move than air lift, the base rank moves are pretty much the same damage and FP cost across both of them) 8.Lakilester (Pretty much agree with everything you said, tbh if Lakilester was the second party member you got i wouldn’t mind him being weak so much)
Wanna know something cool I noticed regarding the Shroob fight? The Bros attack they give you is a reference to Partners in Time, in both that the window is apparently a reference to the Shroob insignia and mostly in that the attack can be performed infinitely, like bros attacks in Partners in Time. (Well, it could before the remake.) I thought that was a cool touch, especially since I had played Partners in Time right before Inside Story.
Actually, the Larry and Ludwig fight is unfair. I mean, how are they supposed to use their cards if you can dodge everything?
