Trivia. You can survive King Bob-omb's explosion attack with enough HP and defense. However, the fight will end without getting any experience. That also happens with the Dark Star in Bowser's Inside Story.

actually, you still get 9,999 exp from the dark star if you don't dodge the final attack. the mechanic is unique to the epic, ultimate troller, king bob-omb

you can also survive the explosion from pi’ilodium in dt, but you need a shield badge (a single hit is enough)

i’ll never forget my first fight with king bomb-omb he exploded and everyone but luigi died luigi had 1 hp

I think it’s so funny how Bowser Junior consistently has the some of best fights in the Mario franchise…… except for in new super Mario Bros DS but we don’t talk about that😅

His fights in New Super Mario Bros. were easily the greatest of his fights. The difficulty of knowing which direction he'd run. The complexity and originality of his attacks which got different and better with each fight. You cannot compare his fights in NSMB to the likes of the laughable 'boss battles' in the Mario and Luigi series. I'd rather experience the well-thought out, complex, and inspirational fights in NSMB by the great Bowser Junior over some rushed, simple, and boring fights in the Mario and Luigi series. The best parts of those series are the *Paper Toad missions, the puzzles in Somnom woods* and *the peach escort mission* in Superstar Saga. The rest of the series absolutely sucks, so how have you got your mind twisted into thinking that the hilariously mediocre Bowser Junior battle in Paper Jam is better than his goated battles in New Super Mario Bros.?

My Ranking. (Yes, my opinions have changed. Sue me.) 11. Petey Piranha (First boss syndrome. What do you expect?) 10. Paper Petey Piranha (I’ve always found this fight annoying. Trying to find the right copy gats tedious and he has a lot of HP.) 9. Charging Chuck Corps (Feels more like an enemy gauntlet than a boss fight. Also you don’t even need Mario or Luigi.) 8. King Bob-omb (The timer doesn’t really add anything. On top of that, his explosion at the end of the timer has potential to not kill everyone. Luigi lived on my first playthrough.) 7. Big Pokey Duo (Interesting attacks fun chase segment, strategy. What’s not to love.) 6. Kamek Duo (Another cute, fun fight, with unique and interesting attacks. Easily the Hardest non-final boss in the game.) 5. Bowser Jr. Duo (The stuff those two pull is interesting. Trampolines, Paper Airplane Contests, Barrels, you name it. A major difficulty spike too.) 4. Rampaging Wiggler (Best Wiggler fight in the series thanks to the strategy of weakening Paper Kamek with counterattacks so that taking him out is trivial, and Wiggler’s attacks look like final boss or even superboss attacks with how much in rapid succession everything is.) 3. King Boo (You basically get to choose your own difficulty with this fight. One of his attacks is similar to one of the Dark Star’s attacks too. You don’t even have to use Paper Mario making the fight harder and that’s good game design.) 2. Koopalings (Yeah so, uh this is arguably the best Koopaling fight in the series. Their teamwork, personalities, battle cards, and instakill gimmicks are here and spectacular Ludwig and Larry being my personal favorite thanks to their gimmick and having the best attacks.) 1. Shiny Robobowser (Easily the best Bowser fight in any Mario RPG and no. Dark Bowser doesn’t count. The first phase ranks with the other Duo fights, but the second phase. That music. That gameplay. Really well done. It’s kinda funny because you don’t even need Paper Mario. Just that excellent final boss despite the genericness of this game.)

I've been wondering about this: Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam is a crossover game, but how? It only uses Mario-universe elements. Actual crossover games combine two or several franchises into one game, which Paper Jam doesn't do.

Paper Jam may not be a Masterpiece when it comes to story,but it's still a damn good game and I really loved the Bosses,here's my list: 1)Shiny Robobowser:well,what did you expect? This Final Boss looks absolutely incredible,the music and Attacks are both pretty good and powerful,and It reminds me a lot of Zamasu from DBS,since he also fused with a Parallel Version of himself(aka Goku Black) 2)Koopalings:loved the idea of fighting more of them at once,and they worked perfectly as a great buildup to the Final Boss 3)King Bob-Omb:the Time Limit is a wonderful concept,it really sets the atmosphere and adds a lot of pressure to the Boss;I actually died a lot,and sometimes not even due to running out of time 4)Bowser Jr Duo:lol I forgot to include this Fight,but other than that I really liked it,especially the Plane Race sequence 5)Kamek Duo:it's our Boi Kamek,as long as there aren't sandals around his Fights will never disappoint 6)King Boo:wonderful atmosphere,good Attacks,really fun Fight overall 7)Wiggler:awesome Fight,although for the stage of the game I was in,it didn't hit me as hard as other Bosses 8)Chargin Chucks Corps:this Fight was a bit obnoxious,but still a lot of fun and I loved the idea of fighting an entire Brigade 9)Pokey Duo:same things I said with Wiggler,although worse since I was underleveled and didn't realize it lol 10)Paper Petey:loved the idea of the Copy Block being used against you,but this Fight was the easiest for me 11)Petey:it's the 1st Boss,what did you expect? @@ShroobInvader lol I always saw the Chargin Chucks Corps as a Miniboss rather than an actual Boss,that's why Although,I would probably rank them above the Pokey Duo

It's a shame that Paper Jam suffers from being pretty bland visually and only using established Mario characters because the regular battles are excellent! They're probably the most difficult in the series, which was surprising all things considered.

My list of M&L games is like this: 1st Dream Team: Even if it have those long tutorials(thing i wasnt bothered by unless I saw people mentioning it), seeing Luigi being the star of the game and his thoughts, feelings about Mario and his determination made me love it and all boss fights were a challenge, i had to redo a few of them, even if you beat all enemies you encounter, isnt leveled enough and that was really good. Ofc the dreamy concept and history is soo good and i love it. Thos game is just my fav. 2nd Bowsers Inside Story: Yeah, is a good game. Bowser as a playable character and being kind of a hero still being a bad guy is so cool and how you use Mario and Luigi to help him is a cool concept too. Boss fights were good and a nice difficulty and "In the final" is such a good final boss theme. 3rd Partners in Time: My first M&L and the one that took me a lot of tries for the final boss and even reset the game just to level up correctly, in my defense, I was younger when playing this one than in the others. Boss fights are ok and all history is pretty good, aliens using Toads to get his energy and trying to conquist the whole planet across time is a concept i, as a kid, was amazed too and well, still. 4th Superstar Saga: First game and well, its okay. Beanbean Kingdom isnt so memorable for me but had good funny moments and Poople battles is cool. 5th Paper Jam: My last M&L game and all can think of this game is missed potential. I would loved to see more paper famous characters and Papercraft battles were okay but not something I enjoyed too much. I dont hate the game, its actually fun. Having Paper Mario in the team and having to control those 3 in a battle was challenging, Trio attacks were good and was quite hard for me in some battles only one survived. Sadly, there wasnt so memorable areas or boss fights tbh, bosses were characters you could see in a Mario Party game so they wasnt so original. Even Paper Blooper would have been cool but no, they reused Petey. Still, this series are my favourite RPG games before Paper Mario.

I used to hate Bowser Jr. duo for how many attempts did I waste in that fight. Also I always lost at paper airplaine contest

About king boo, the reason hes able to hold Paper Mario hostage with a weak enemy might be because, Paper Mario has been shown on multiple occasions to be afraid of ghosts. And thinking about the time period Paper Jam seems to take place according to a royal sticker just casually making 2 appearances, this is almost definitely the reason King Boo is able to easily catch Paper Mario.

My problem with it is that he is hostage by a weak enemy that we are easily able to kill making paper Mario just not really gone, but that is interesting to hear honestly since I don’t remember this at all from Paper Mario

For the duo pokey fight my favorite detail is that if one pokey has noticeably less parts than the other, it grows some back so that they’re the same height.

So excited to see the new opinions. My fave is still the rampaging wiggler and kamek fight! It’s so much fun and funny! I may as well give the top 3 of mine! 3: Bowser Junior Duo 2: King Bob-Omb 1: Rampaging Wiggler + Kamek I’m sure this will be good 👍 will update with my thoughts on your video tomorrow! So excited 😆

At least not all of them were last 🤣, I just really don’t like that boss fight as you could clearly tell

My favourite fight is actually dry bowser and let me explain him to you: First attack is throwing bones twice then his head Second attack is trying to suck you up and you have to smack spike balls at him Third attack he can summon 4/7 of the koopalings he only spawns 2 at a time tho Fourth attack he summons thwomps to crush you then laser you with fire Fifth attack summoning the other 2 koopalings Sixth attack is the same as the first one except he does it 3-4 times except he swaps the way he throws his bones Last thing to add is that he is level 48 he used to be level 50 but he got nerfed and his defence is pretty high so I would recommend bringing bowser cards and lastly if he dies (which is very possible and quite easy to do when dodging correctly) and the koopalings are still standing you still have to fight them if I were you if you were good enough I would try to beat him at level 50 (my lowest level of beating him is 36) good luck

That was a great list. I do agree about shiny robo bowser being number 1. Also while I enjoy paper jam, I think it still could have been so much better. Anyways, like normal, can't wait for the next video

My list: 18. Papercraft Bowser First, there's the freaking Papercraft gauntlet. The battles weren't fun to begin with, so who decided to bring them back. Second, the attacks are... wait, why can't I remember the attacks? IT'S A FREAKING BOWSER BATTLE! 17. Papercraft King Boo Like you said, controlling Papercraft Yoshi isn't fun. 16. Papercraft Kamek I remember this fight being slightly annoying, but other than that Papercraft Luigi doesn't add anything new, making this Generic Unfun Papercraft Battle Number 2. 15. Papercraft Megacrinkle Goomba Generic Unfun Papercraft Battle Number 1. 14. Papercraft Bowser Jr. At least this fight tries to be unique instead of being Generic Unfun Papercraft Battle Number 3, but it's still a Papercraft battle. 13. Petey Piranha A perfectly fine first boss, but it's a first boss. 12. Big Pokey Duo First example of a character teaming up with their paper counterpart, but this is only the second boss excluding Generic Unfun Papercraft Battle Number 1. 11. Roy and Wendy Pretty fun fight, but compared to the other Koopaling fights it's lacking a real concept. Also, I'm pulling these rankings from a document I made ranking every M&L boss and in it I listed both fights separately. 10. King Bob-Omb The timer is fun and the attacks are good too. A solid fight for right before the final level. 9. Chargin' Chuck Corps Tired of only attacking three targets at most in a boss fight? Well then try sixteen! It worked. 8. Ludwig and Larry Them using their own Battle Cards was a really fun concept! It makes it stand out from the other bosses in the game. Also, both fights against these two were also ranked separately on my document. 7. Paper Petey Piranha First, it's interesting that this boss is separate from normal Petey Piranha. It makes it distinct from other paper fights. Second, stealing the Copy Block is a fun concept, and Bros Attacks make it so that it's not to annoying to find the real Paper Petey Piranha. 6. Morton Lemmy and Iggy You actually can use Bros Attacks during this fight! They only become dizzy when you counter their chase attacks. That makes this a really unique fight that still allows you to perform your best attacks! 5. Rampaging Wiggler and Paper Kamek This is the most intimidating Wiggler fight in the series! And the presence of Paper Kamek to get in the way is pretty neat. 4. King Boo A fight with only Mario & Luigi. It's like the previous games in the series! That's pretty neat! 3. Kamek Duo We've got another pair of real and paper characters, this time with fun magic based attacks! 2. Bowser Jr. Duo Yet another real and paper pair, this time with even more fun attacks! 1. Bowser Duo and Shiny RoboBowser On top of this using the same team up idea that I liked with the previous two bosses on the list, this even has a second form with decent challenge, good attacks, great presentation, and a fantastic concept with blocking Trio Attacks that makes this fight my 2nd favorite in all of the Mario RPGs!

The thing where #6's koopalings only become dizzy is a main reason why I hate but love Paper Jam

This could be the only Mario game where the Koopalings are fun to fight, especially at Neo Bowser Castle. The best Koopaling fight in this game has to be the Lemmy, Iggy, and Morton trio. Apart from stones, bombs, cannonballs, etc. 1. It's fun watching them fly towards the screen after hitting them. 2. Partially satisfying springing the Chain Chomp around. 3. The Chain Chomp attack will dizzify Morton after Lemmy and Iggy have been dizzified. 4. Iggy's chase attack is faster than Lemmy's slowpoke chase attack. 5. Morton is the only koopaling who doesnt have a chase attack.

My Favourite bosses are All the koopalings The kamek duo And the bowser jrs

I would predict Dry Bowser being very high on the list if you actually put him there, possibly even top 3. He is a fantastic "final test" of Paper Jam, both in having Koopaling summons and also being absolutely **BRUTAL**. IMO, he is the hardest fight in the SERIES and I can clearly remember each and every attack.

Shroobie, I just wanna say, I just really enjoy watching your videos. You clearly aren't one of those KZreadrs who plays a game the bare minimum and posts a low effort, awful tier list. It's evident that you love the Mario RPGs as much as I or any other fan does. You put thought and effort into every rank for every tier for every video. You are my inspiration, so thank you. Please keep doing what you're doing! Sincerely, Hyup UP (And if they ask, tell them it wasn't me.🗿)

My biggest problem with this game's battles is that they can often feel like you either use the battle cards frequently and win, or you don't and the battles go on for nearly half an hour and destroy you with every hit. I have a problem with this because as a purely Mario and Luigi fan, it's annoying going from the amazing Bowser's Inside Story and Dream Team, where their form of those in the badges are treated as a once-in-a-while boost, it took me until the Kamek boss fight to actually try them, making every boss take 20-30 MINUTES beforehand.

Dream Team has one battle that consists of the group of regular enemies: the Fly Guy R Thieves

11:16 Dude i didnt like that when i was a kid. Those were like the headache type of "Super Star".

The Chargin Chuck Corp was actually teased way before you actually fight them. I don’t remember the exact location and circumstances but they were the ones that hauled the trio to the prison and I thought that’s a positive thing

Unrelated to the topic, but I have a story regarding PJ and the amiibo. I recently returned to playing PJ and tried using my Dr. Mario amiibo since I had used him when PJ came out instead of the regular Mario amiibo. Turns out I can't use him without deleting the amiibo data because I'm not playing on the same system. I had the OG 3DS and now I have the New 2DS XL. It's a shame because I gotta give up the cards he had. But you know what, I can instead use my Dr. Mario amiibo for Smash Ultimate after deleting the data. That's the plan now. And just play PJ without amiibo this time.

Oh, and for anyone wondering how I was able to use amiibo on the OG 3DS, I had the NFC reader/writer which I no longer need after getting the New 2DS XL a while back (since it scans amiibo on the touch screen.)

@@ShroobInvader Yeah, I don't see too many people talking about PJ's amiibo functionality. I definitely thought it was cool and the cards they give you are generally more effective than the normal ones. They also don't cost star points to use but the game limits how often you can use them. Regardless, amiibo makes PJ easier to beat, which isn't necessarily something you need when the player's skill is good enough to power through the game.

Shroob Invader I just beat Petey piranha in my minimum exp run. And heres how it went: At peaches castle i bought 5 mushrooms at the shop. and thats pretty much it until i got to the petey piranha fight. When i got to the petey piranha fight Everybody was lvl 2. And he started off with the attack where he spins and trys to like grab you. Luckily i managed to dodge it because i usually suck at dodging that attack. Then i just spammed bro attacks. Once when petey piranha did the shockwave attack Mario got hit and took 8 DAMAGE, which isnt alot i guess. I managed to dodge the rest of his attacks and i got 1 stache bean and 1 mushroom. After that I saved the stache bean for later but i gave Luigi the Picnic boots because his POW is less then marios. Reply to this comment if you have any advice for me!

One thing you could have done which is what I did on my latest playthrough is sell every item you have to get the best gear from peach’s castle. Other then that I have nothing. Good luck my friend

king Bob-omb actually has 2 attacks that add a minute if you counter it the one where he kicks the red bomb and the one where he throws small Bob-ombs because of the paper ones you would think you shouldn’t jump on them but you actually can and if you jump on all of them it increases the timer

Dude, I always thought the toad missions were mainly to get you more familiar with the area. Even that one mission that has you to hide from shy guys and save hidden paper toads. That lets you know an area earlier than before.

Ok that’s kinda fair, the problem is that Paper Jam’s areas are the worst in the series. I only think 4 are not bad, Gloomy Woods, Mount Burr, Bowser’s Castle, and Neo Bowser Castle. And the 2 castles are nothing compared to Dark Castle from BiS and Neo Bowser Castle from DT, and while I didn’t dislike the toad missions themselves, it’s the same problem I have with the toad meter with Papercraft battles. It halts the game completely by forcing you to do something that feels arbitrary. I get the appeal but it’s not for me

It’s still funny that you didn’t know that you could jump without having paper Mario above you in the paper airplane dodge sections that’s how you dodge paper Petey, charging chucks and shiny robo bowser: by jumping over obstacles where paper mario isn’t needed

I was playing this game and got about maybe a quarter way through when my 3ds broke down so yeh R.I.P. 3ds XL

Papercraft Kamek’s neo bowser fight was hell to beat his attack where half the map gets covered by magic is too hard to dodge

Someone find me something to love as much as Shroob loves the bowser jr duo fight

At 1st, I thought PJ was the best one after playing a very little amout of BIS and getting stuck on the giant Bowser battle in dream team. Now that I've played all but PIT, its not the best but one thing is cretin Its probably the most fun to play around with

As a Bowser Jr fan I am glad to see the Bowser Jr Duo fight so high up.

as someone who has fought dry bone bowser. I would probably add him in the middle of the list, the only thing of note that I can say is he can summon the one the two duo of the Koopaling, and I would say my biggest problem with the fight is you need to be at a high level to get though the other bosses in the Battle Medley to even get a chance at fighting dry bones, add on the fact that the battle ring bosses are higher level then the storyline battles. even with level 70 characters, I have trouble with even getting to him (could also lean on the fact I suck at dodging certain attacks) but this not to say dry bones is a bad fight, he strong and I like his attacks. it just the problem with papercraft bowser

To be fair, I think that it’s really against the battle medley which doesn’t completely count with that fight objectively. Now would it influence my opinion if I hated it, yes, yes it would. But if I can get past the battle medley part and just enjoy the Dry Bowser fight, I do think it would be pretty good.

I am level 59 with all bros as of this video and I’m am grinding so I can breeze through the Battle Meledy and the King Boo fight in the Battle Meledy because King Boo was pretty annoying. I’m also learning Dry Bowser’s attacks because I want to complete Battle Meledy at S rank like all the other bosses I did

@@lolmaster1229 the way on how I got an S is going into the difficult fights separately and learning it I actually got an S at level 46 in my opinion bring these cards: POW increase by 35% Speed by 30% DEF by 25% Attack all engines 5 times with 20 damage Health by 70% SP by 50% Everyone gets stronger by 50% Lower POW by 40% One-Up by 50% Lower DEF by 30% Hopefully this will help you out

Problem with the Chargin chuck boss fight is you can easily win with just paper Mario as when it’s just him they only do that tackle attack and his flutter makes it easy

Here's a joke: "Why does it say Paper Jam when there is no Paper Jam? I swear to god, one of these days I'll throw this piece of .... out the window!" Reference to Office Space

KIng Bob-omb is a great boss but too bad it's also very exploitable. There is a battle card that increases time so if you're slow the use it and makes King Bob-omb almost a joke

Unfortunately his defence is weaker then king boos that if you use the card the fight is free

I beat King Bob Omb by just barely surviving the self destruct

What the charging Chuck corpse were in the desert kidnapping you and putting you in the dungeon it makes sense for them to be in the desert

This was my first Mario and Luigi game

Ngl I love the koopalings fight. It’s just a shame you can’t fight them again in the battle simulator (Not including the boss rush). In my opinion, the bowser jr’s fight is the hardest one because of those immunities. It’s also irritating that when one gets on low health the other one throws a mushroom to him to heal him with like 50% or something. If I would make a top 3 hardest bosses then they would be: 1. Bowser jr’s 2. Kameks 3. Ludwig and Larry

Personally, Papercraft Bowser is my favorite Papercraft fight because Papercraft Fire Mario is kind of fun to use. Sure, the boss rush feels forced, but I don't mind it. The stage is alright for me and the music fits it. Even though the boss rush was a bit boring, it feels so satisfying to tear down all the Papercraft bosses up to Papercraft Bowser and setting them on fire just like what Bowser did to your previous Papercrafts. The fight against Papercraft Bowser is the best part, because of his attacks, he poses a bit of a challenge without feeling annoying unlike Papercraft King Boo and it feels satisfying to give him payback. Papercraft Bowser Jr. was a close second, but because I enjoy Papercraft bosses somewhat and the satisfaction of burning down the boss rush makes it my favorite. Koopalings were fun to fight too. Good list overall.

Pretty sure those aren't mudballs Wiggler is spitting at you, think they're seeds from the fruit you fed to them earlier in the jungle.

@@ShroobInvader this is an update to my challenge, and I can officially say that I beat PIT at level 15 :)

Paper Jam is so underrated, I think the reason why it's overrhated is the fact that the crossover is dissapointing, but the game is actually fun, and another thing that it gets hate on is the basic modern 2d mario world and enemies that Paper Jam takes place on, but if I gotta be honest here, I really dont mind if they'll only use it once, I think the enemy and bosses are fun, and they make good use of attacks too which is something that Paper Jam does very well. The toad missions are fun too, making the game difficult but fun at the same time. Overall, Paper Jam is underrated.

I half agree. On one hand, the combat is great, maybe even the best and most of the bosses are great, but in the other, the story is peach is stolen with no extra to it other than make it double with the paper characters, and that is every other games story but without the spice of the unique villains plans, because this game doesn't have a separate unique villain just paper Bowser who is only as different as his name, and yeah Bowser is great but that's like seasoning a steak with another stake you didn't make the first 1st better you just doubled it, the the biggest problem is the world's only serve to get in the way to Bowser's castle or villa, they serve no other purpose but to have road blocks or to house the road to Bowser

I disagree with the fact Bowser Jr and his paper version have more unique attacks than Bowsers : once he is in his last forms, he can chase the bros vertically and horizontally that demands the player to be careful about the characters he controls since all them can be attacked (whether it is for the flying Bowser attack or his rolling attack). If that wasn't enough, he is the *only* ennemy that can actually use the giant trio hammer and counter it when the bros are using it only when he has his helmet on, no one else do that. He can make some minions come as a backup sometimes and restore his HP but this isn't a part of their attacks. I think the Iggy Lemmy and Morton fight is overranked. This isn't even a battle for me, it's more like a staged comedy featuring 3 clowns (that is the case of saying) that have no idea how a team is supposed to work. And after they are stunned by their own attack, it's most likely over for them. You get a free win if one of them don't wake up and revive the others to restart doing the same thing over and over again. I'm kind of disappointed in this koopaling fight that I expected being even harder than the 2 previous ones. It turns out to be more of a joke (For once Larry isn't the weakest in a recent game). Anyway, I still think you did a great work and i understand your choices :).

I beat paper Petey in 2 turns at level 14. I lowered his level with a card, killed a few copies then obliterated him with drill shell and rocket blast.

Yup. Unmemorability and not being able to attack was more damaging to my opinion than not having all the bros attacks

I honestly think Superstar Saga remake has the best standard boss theme, altough I think its great in every game

I feel like Paper Jam deserves more credit than it gets. Sure, the Crossover is disappointing, but keep in mind that this appeared during the times of Sticker Star, and I don't think seeing returning characters wouldn't make sence. Paper Jam is far from being a great game, if a good, but I think it deserves better. And let's be real, the character relationships are so good here.

I will need to heavily re-edit this comment because now, I am frustrated at how this video is designed. I honestly don't want to mean any offense, and I'll try my best to edit this comment to be less fustrated. Ok, upon further Retrospective I need help with understanding this video. Could you please give me that help by listing out every single piece of criticism you threw at these bosses and line them all up because to be honest, I can't focus on anything at all. Honestly, I personally disagree with you on the King Boo Papercraft because the Tongue problem along with how the lava is designed does force you to be more careful around the opponents. This is especially true in my experience when I speedranned the level in the Arcade it honestly felt to me personally like one of the most brilliantly designed Boss battles in the entire game, with how you sometimes need to knock the Boos in the lava instead of jumping on them all of the time, the precise timing on the quickest way to ground pound with the Dry Bones, and just those two things being applied to the King Boo Papercraft along with all of the ways it is able to be exploited and left vulnerable. Honestly, this battle just needs a bit of patience in my experience. Also, to be in fairness I've just noticed from the fact that you didn't beat all of the little Goombas and how you stomp on the Boos when they are on precipice of the platform over the lava that our gameplay styles and how we each adapt to these bosses I agree with you that the Paper MegaCrinkle Goomba is a slog, however how you describe it seems a bit... like you are describing it and not like pointing out the problems. True, granted this is a 3DS game and there really isn't too much here to talk about it so I can't blame you for criticizing it though you could've been a bit more objective. I agree with what you have to say about Petey being the first boss and therefore he is simple makes him extremely bland.

Ok I’ll mainly explain King Boo, The Boos are annoying because it technically does force you to be more careful, but it’s because you have to line up the targeting feature with the tongue. When controls are unreliable, I get mad. MegaCrinkle Goomba is simple, way too simple. It’s slow because it’s the first fight, and he doesn’t really do anything. He feels like a normal enemy with a lot of health instead of a boss. And yeah Petey is simple. Also hey we all have different opinions so there is no need to be frustrated 🤷‍♂️

i love this game just beat king bobomb! edit: i really do not like the toad energy things either. i am bad at them and that makes them also T I M E C O N S U M I N G when i just wanna get that part over with. and it runs out very fast i just wanna get it over with but i have to do it like 5 times average edit again: oh wow i just beat this game shiny robobowser was insane i cant believe that fight i dodged stuff i really should have got hit by edit 3: i mastered the toad rythem in bowser papercraft so that made is +90 times more fun edit...4?: ok last edit oris it? Yoob.

I think the paper craft battles may be so disliked because of how much less unique they are, the giant battles had you holding the system different to how you would on any other game, and have different controls but otherwise the same rules, attack with the same basic attack types to lower the enemy HP to 0 and use action commands to do more damage then dodge or counter incoming enemy attacks, papercraft battles have basic button controls but work nothing like the rest of the game, so unlike giant battles everything you know about mario and luigi is useless

I don’t like that every boss I’d not original . Stopped playing at the paper craft gomba never picked up the game again. LOVED every other installment.

I think paper craft battles are an awesome concept, I also really love the paper craft version of Mario character, it’s such a shame it fell so flat with many fans

Yep I agree. I think it’s mainly because of the toad meter and the janky controls that most people are not a fan

I understand why people don’t like paper jam, and I don’t care, because this was practically my first ever Nintendo game and opened my eyes to the complexity of video games as a whole.

Actually, the Larry and Ludwig fight is unfair. I mean, how are they supposed to use their cards if you can dodge everything?
