Bleck wasn't a real priest, plus it was forced on Peach's part, it's all but said that Peach annulled the marriage after the game was over.@@sinchill5424

The funny thing is that Bowser miraculously failed on all of those times, including Super Paper Mario because, the world of Mario would've ended if they got married so he never really succeeded in marrying Peach

They did actually officially get married, and then _after_ the chaos heart was born, then it's fate and their marriage's became separate. Though the Chaos Heart was destroyed, the vows hold true.

Bowser: *attempts to marry peach 3 times* Bleck: Don’t expedite my plans! Bowser: *attempts to marry peach a fifth time.* Also Bleck, likely chilling with Timpani in an after life for people who no longer exist, somehow: WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!!! Did you not learn from me that that’s A TERRIBLE IDEA?!!

Maybe it’s only an issue if the Holy Man is carrying the Dark Prognosticus. So basically any other attempt from Bowser is fine.

Welp, seems it's time to update this video.

Honestly, I just came to see everyone's reactions to Peach and Bowser _actually marrying_ in Super Paper Mario, lol.

fun fact: Bowser never has luck, even in Paper Mario, in marring Peach. why? they said to be married "until their game ends". Pre-final Chapter? they are in Paper Mario's Hell and Heaven, after Dimentio killed them.

Geez, I do remember the old Comics, Cartoons and Anime, but I didn't know there was on total 5 Wedding! First in the 80s on Cartoons, Comics and even Anime, next it was written on the Dark Prognosticus, and now after 30 Years, on the latest Super Mario Game, he planned the 4th wedding?! (I didn't count Super Paper Mario. Since it was planned on this anchent Book, it was the Wedding all from Bleck, not Bowsers.) But still... This Koopa King doesn't know when to give up, doesn't he?!

I always thought it was funny that Peach is so insistent on the _Super Paper Mario_ wedding being a “sham” when Bowser first tries to flaunt it in front of Mario while Bowser is equally insistent on taking their marriage completely seriously for the entire game.

Hey everyone! Sorry for the confusion, I had to take down the previously uploaded version of this video to fix- I missed a pretty big marriage attempt between Koopa x Princess Toadstool in the DIC animated series (The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!). Huge thanks to KZread user “Wonky Whomp” for pointing this out: it took more effort and I’ll lose a few likes, but I can’t stand errors as Odyssey is in fact the fifth wedding between them :) this makes the overall video more interesting too, so I hope you all don’t mind and enjoy the edit!

Bowser doesn't learn from his mistakes. Because of the Wedding in Super Paper Mario the Universe and all the alternate Universes were at the Edge of destruction

Isn't it great?! I can't recommend it enough, I'm glad you had read it as there's a lot of funny/awesome details to be found throughout. What was your favorite part? I quite liked the pretty blatant & sarcastic humor, the Yoshi language translation killed me

You're right, I reached Corona Mountain yesterday and forgot all about it...that makes the joke in this video null but it's a pretty cool way the three games are tied together!

I agree completely. Fascinating reason why, and its result (creation of the Chaos Heart/The Void) sets course for the highest intensity a Mario story's ever dealt with. Just played through Super Paper Mario again in totality and I've been obsessing over it since :)

It's so sad, really. Especially just after playing Super Paper Mario, I cannot comprehend how Sticker Star could ever be seen as a successor to the same series. Color Splash, while I like it well enough, seems to be paired with Sticker Star as a different universe of games entirely. The original "trilogy" feels whole, with Super PM calling back again and again with homages to the prior two (portraits of Mario and his party members, the plushies in Fort Francis, etc.). In Sticker Star, there were two very minor references to Goombella and Parakarry through text (in a heap of trash nonetheless, ironic). Color Splash doesn't have a single callback to any of the first three as I recall. If you're thinking "so what", it goes beyond this- gameplay mechanics and functions return (recipes for example) in N64 to Super PM to feel like it belongs in the same continuity. Super wasn't even turn-based but it retains the spirit of this continued world. Even though there's obviously change in the staff I can't see how Intelligent Systems can go from making arguably the most daring game in the franchise (plot surpasses anything anyone would imagine a Mario game tackling) to a safe, stripped world of all lore they themselves have created.

At least we still have Mario and Luigi. If Paper Jam is just so bland because everything had to be from Sticker Star and not the way the next one will be at least. But Odyssey has a nice story and unique NPC's, so i think the RPG games also will return to good stories, or at least PM64 quality.

@@ThaneGaming It's like 2 different Spider-Man versions, where it's all Paper Mario in name, but clearly different styles and continuities (yes, I think the picturebook referenced in Paper Jam is the Sticker Star/Color Splash continuity, while the first 3 are true Mario adventures IMO I could see him doing.

You missed one wedding. On the early screenplay, Bowser and Hildy (Daisy) in a dark fantasy film, starring Arnold. Wait till the square crossover.

Wonderful breakdown video didn't know about the first game with the Bowser and Peach Wedding.

It happened again in the Mario movie.

The three headed Snake was also a boss from Super Mario Bros. 2

I love Princess Peach and I hate Bowser

I ship Peach with Bowser, but only if after they kiss he manages to find a way to transform into into a Mario-like human form for consummating the marriage. Peach married Bowser, and like the Beast in Beauty and the Beast he gained a human form resembling Marios but with Boweser's own eyebrows.
