I think choosing 1 legendary ship should be an option for the event campaign - similar to a promo ship choice

I got the Lexington mirror universe cruiser out of that bundle 15:02 on its own. I like the Odessey class style cruisers and I used a voucher for it, so it was free. I have it with the Aquarius escort console along with a pair of elite Romulan scorpion fighters and the spinal lance is a bonus. Any target I select is swarmed by both the escort and the fighter squads. I then also have the console set that has the cloak, but if you equip the set, it upgrades it to a battle cloak. The loadout I have currently on it is a mix of phasers quantum phasers and the Dyson command weapon set. For a four-piece kit deflector, engines, shields and warp core I use the Lukari set. It does pretty good again enemies in PVE content. It takes allot of firepower to drop the ship's shields. It probably is crap in PVP, but I don't play Star Trek Online for the PVP gameplay. With the fighters and escort, it's just a little better than my Arbiter class battle cruiser. Which I also use the cloak set on because how many Federation vessels get cloaks let alone the ability to have a battle cloak?

1 legendary ship I really like is the Ambassador. With surgical strikes III and recursive shearing with the vanguard specialist trait, it’s a strong build and also the only ship in the game that you can use both abilities at the same time.

Yeah, that is a deadly combo. I just wish the Ambassador could equip cannons. I hope one day we get another Intel ship with a lt.cmdr. temporal seat like that one had.

the galaxi dreadnaught has since become my main ship. my intended main ship, the archon class "USS Pursuit", got shoved into drydock once i got my USS Tiamat.

A little late on the commenting, but I agree on the 12th ships - the Lexington is the first ship to push me over 200k deeps. It actually made me switch from my longtime flagship, the Vengeance. Also, buying the 12th as a bundle gives you account-wide Mirror String Wing Escort - yeah, account-wide SAD...and the Adamant is incredible with a Surgical Strikes build :)

Great vid Stu! I love my Gal-X and it's my favorite Terran ship but yeah...its inertia is problematic even though I'm used to flying cruisers. It power slides pretty good though lol.

yeah, the thing handles like a drunk house on ice skates, but it's a solid ship once you get used to that. And once you do get used to it every other ship feels like an escort lol

I don't think the next legendary will be auggies dream akira, more likely a legendary negh'var or bortasqu for an eventual rerun of the klingon recruitment event, i noticed that this year with every recruitment rerun there was a new legendary ship fitting with the recruit with a level 65 boost in the bundle! Hey Stu new, if plan on getting all those Legendary captain bundles (all ones with the ship/lvl 65 boost)(just to get all those ships). What would be the best efficient strategy going about this. I have to level one character to 65 ,1st normally before purchasing these? and what character/faction be best to level 1st if plan on getting all these various faction capt bundles. Sorry if this is confusing my english/grammar skills i know lack. Currently only have 1 character level 10 fed but i know i need to do a kdf to get cross flying on all and 3 in total i heard u need to farm dilithium. If i plan on getting all 6 capt bundles then will have 2 of 1 faction n 1 of the rest im guessing.

I'd definitely take a legendary Akira. I'm still waiting to fly a Norway-class in the game too.

Still love my Legendary Kobayashi Maru with cloaking. Sure, it doesn't officially have the title but nothing strikes fear in the hearts of enemies like that ship decloaking right in front of you.

One thing about the level 65 boosts. Cryptic has been placing them on sale whenever they have a recruit event. So I have been getting them for around 9k, which I find VERY useful for leveling out a recruit, and allows the T6 to come with the full weapons load.

How about to updates starfleets as commercial vessels to neighboring extroplanets as new space trade projects in the alternative timeline?

And 1 year later, Nov 2023, the legendary Akira bundle is out, comes with 2 ships and a t6 voucher, the bundle's worth 7000 Zen.

Ship i want to see more than anything is a Movie Accurate Legendary Intel Valdore/Mogai/Morigu bundle as a 5/2+1 and for it to come with the Nemesis Romulan uniforms,

I'd love to see a legendary Akira bundle But I'd really love to see a Legendary Heavy Dreadnought Bundle. With a legendary Universe Class ship available within it. Since this is the only enterprise to not receive the legendary treatment in the game and there is an alternative skin for it, specifically the kongo class design which was one of the unitial designs for it. Plus I think, done right, would look better than the current ship. Something similar to the Terran bundle would be cool. At 6000z people would definitely buy it. Same for the akira

With the new Advanced consoles, The legendary Excelsior and Sovereign MW ships deserve a good look. Make 'em T6-X and you can throw 7 of the new consoles on them and, in theory, put your weapons attack modifier on all of them for 11 weapons boosting consoles on one ship. Or whatever other modifiers you want.

Yeah, the new engineering advanced consoles really open up some interesting possibilities for Cruisers, as they have more engineering console slots. The MW cruisers especially, because of the extra universal slot. This is something I'm really wanting to test, I just need to get more of the consoles. So far I only have 5 of the pet consoles and 2 of the weapon power consoles and still no idea what's best to reengineer them to (really hoping it's not just the weapon type you're using because otherwise I'm going to need do freakin' many of these consoles).

I'm running 7 of the weapon power consoles on a T6-X Excelsior. I have a base weapon power of 176 on weapon power setting. 😂 I'm not running all weapon modifiers on the consoles. I've also got ResAll, 2 Turn, and an EngPwr for some extra handling. I also don't know how diminishing returns apply to the modifiers on the advanced consoles. The ship is working better than any other beam build I've ever done but its still not the insane uber build that I occasionally see show up in TFOs. I'll have to keep looking to see what I'm missing. Your content has helped though. Keep it up!

One of the mods you can put on them is WpnPwr, so you could get even more weapons power out of them. I just want to find out if its better to go that way or to just reengineer for a specific damage type. It's probably the latter, but I'm hoping for the former so I only need the one set.

@@Stu1701 situationally, it might work out depending on the ship, but in my case, I'm already at my max weapon power under normal circumstances so the additional weapon power wouldn't benefit me until I pop EPS power transfer. Even then I think I'm still maxed out at 202 or something. I could see how much overhead I have and divert it to other systems, and adding WpnPwr would let you do more of that.

I've already talked to Spencer, he's done more testing than I've been able to and, yeah, it's just the weapons type you're using like with the tac consoles. So getting multiple sets of these is going to be a pain in the butt.

I would love the legendary defiant, intrepid and Verity to come back up for sale.

I'm only one person, but I'd like to know your top ten ships to choose out of the 2023 event campaign. I'm planning on choosing the Mirror Crossfield since it's from the 13th anniversary bundle and thus, as you've said, is supposed to be scaled to legendary stats.

@@Stu1701 If they ever do make a legendary California the trait absolutely has to be "It's the Cerritos!" I don't even care what it does. That was one of the greatest full circle callbacks I've ever seen with the show referencing itself referencing TNG, and the thing is both the show and the characters had absolutely earned that moment.

I you can afford to get the whole 12th Anniversary Terran Bundle I do recommend it, there's a lot of good stuff in there, including the Lexington, Adamant, Cygnus, Trailblazer, and the Mirror Engle (this last one is normally only available as a lockbox ship and is not available in the c-store on its own like the other four). However, if you're on a budget you may not want to spend that much. Like I said, Lexington is my favorite ship in the game, highly recommend it. The Adamant is also a really good ship, it's great for dealing damage, like the Lexington, but its much smaller and more maneuverable. Whereas the Lexington is a large dreadnought. You may also want to consider the Arbiter. The ship itself it a bit dated, but its has a very valuable starship trait for every weapon builds. Though I would understand if you didn't want to buy a ship purely for its trait.

Well if you do make a "Top 5 Ships That I Want To Be Made Legendary Ships" -- I would like to see a 5/3 or 5/1 BOP on that list, even as an Honorable Mention . After what the Feds got in that category (Adamant & L-Defiant) , Cryptic has run out of excuses .

That is a video I want to do, though we already have a Legendary Bird of Prey, and so far Cryptic hasn't done multiple legendaries of a ship. The video will likely feature ships that haven't been given legendary versions yet.

@@Stu1701 -- It's true that Cryptic hasn't done multiple Legendary Ships, but they have done "equal or better than" Legendary Ships , with the 12th Anniversary bundle holding several such examples , as well as the recent Bozeman/Soyuz type Miranda . The Legendary BOP should have been a 5/1 or 5/3 . Instead they went with a 4/2 just to spite us . Also, the only "BOP" that has a 5 frontal weapons is the D4x -- a ship that is bad because it's rare, but it's also bad because you can't put any Classic BOP skins on it, making it a non-BOP for the purists . Considering that the Feds are now awash with easily attainable 5/ forward weapons on attack ships & cruisers , it's not unreasonable to ask for the same for the Kdf, or any other faction .

@@Stu1701 -- Well we are having this discussion in the comments section of a video titled "Top 5 Legendary Starships" -- that around 14:22 started going to the land of Honorable Mentions (which included non Legendary Ships) -- which I thought made the non-Legendary discussion on topic . But hey, it's your videos ... -- if you don't want to talk about the lack of 5/1 or 5/3 BOP's (2+ years after the Fedies started getting their 5/ ships) , that's your choice . :)

I wanted to, but I didn't have the time to record footage of those ships because STO went down for maintenance that morning, so I had to use B-roll I have saved from past videos.

I have 4 legendaries now (Galaxy, D7, Miranda, and Walker), and the Miranda gets the most use for sure. The Walker is the newest acquisition, and it… well, beyond looks (the Georgiou *drool*), it’s… tanky and reasonably maneuverable. She won’t win a DPS contest.

The Legendary Walker is a very powerful ship with a torpedo build because it's a command ship. The Legendary Odyssey or Vor'cha will still do a bit better, it's still a great ship. And yeah, that Georgiou-class is freakin' gorgeous.

Dude, you’re 100% wrong about the limited availability of Legendary ships… they’re available all the time. The only exception is, specifically, the 10th anniversary bundle. All other legendary ships are available (at full price, mind you) all year ‘round.

I do own all of the Legendary ships. I just didn't have time to film extra b-roll for the background before STO went down for maintenance this morning so I had to use the b-roll ship combat I have saved. But frankly, even if I didn't, it's pretty easy to tell how a ship is going to perform just by looking at it's stats.
