I got a LTS when the game launched so I've just been dropping in periodically playing missions with my T6 Fleet Nebula along with an Attack Wing Promo Sovereign (Vizier?) and Galaxy variants so got the Maquis Raider by your advice to pick up stuff for my Vulcan Science Officer and it is shocking to me how much more damage I'm doing with a kitbashed jalopy than anything I've ever used. Insanity!

10:04 One thing regarding Lt. Pilot seating: you can put AP Lambda 1 and Reinforcements Squadron 1 in there. The former negates all the accuracy penalty and adds confusion to CSV3, while the later will contribute to the H.Y.D.R.A. clicky, making it usable on ships that don't have hangar pets. I use both on my Kwejian Pilot Frigate (which is hilarious because the tiny little fighters it spawns in are half the size of the Kwejian itself) and it's very effective. As a side note: the Kwejian also works great with the Eagle's console too. In fact, the Kwejian works great with almost everything in the 13th Anniversary Bundle. It really is a fantastic ship and easily my best Mudd's ship to date. EDIT: Also the Eudolg has access to exclusive frigate pets, assuming you have the T5 Arabes, which have actual TempOps abilities, and are one of a tiny handful of pets that do (Krenim pets also do, not sure what else.) These abilities will build Entropy on targets which the Eudolg can then detonate. It makes using the Entropy mechanic much, much easier, as the Frigate's abilities are rank 1 and will not often destroy targets, allowing your own consumers to do so instead for better damage. Also allows you to slot things like Gravimetric Conversion and Causal Reversion for healing without feeling bad that you've got fewer Entropy builders.

I am planning to get the paradox and temporal destroyer only for the consoles. I really want them for my temporal main ship.

Trouble with my keyraider is. It got basically declared in its ability. With the only reason I would want, this ship is for doing some of the cling on recruit items, but the debts have kind of made the console weaker.😅

Not only does the Pythus have built in Beam overload it's console layout and station layout itself do allow for the highest damage output of any shuttlecraft as far as i can tell.

now, i believe it's the second time i hear you say the vengeance is a starfleet vessel, so allow me to correct that: - the vengeance is NOT a starfleet vessel, it is a SECTION 31 vessel, designed by the kelvin timeline version of Khan, in conjuction with admiral Marcus, who was ALSO of section 31, his position as a starfleet admiral was his disguise, this information is given on the film, but since you expressed your dislike for this movie many times now it wouldn't be surprising to me that you missed the part in the movie where they reveal that (yes the movie isn't that good, but wether you like it or not is not the point here). - the vengeance is designed to be the section 31 version of a warship, and so it's design reflects that, having all the sharp lines and the black hull of a stealth ship as well as a cloak, but beign made to be a frontline ship and not really caring for beign hidden, instead having all it's weapons designed for multi-target battles, reinforced hull, an emphasys on low crew operation to acount for the lack of personel and battle casualties (beign the only federation ship that big actually shown to be flown by only 1 person) and the fastest warp drive the federation could offer at that time, so it could answer to threats that much faster. also great video and i hope u feel better soon! oh and you can stop saying the vengeace is a starfleet vessel that goes against everthing starfleet is because, it is not, a starfleet vessel.

Yeah the whole point was that it was built in secret and would have been considered illegal so it actually is anti starfleet.

One thing worth noting is the xindi sistruus has one of the best experimental weapons in the game. Experimental Proton Charge. In a target rich environment it can out-damage all others. I don't think it's worth the lobi but maybe someone who's trying to maximize DPS could use it?

Question with the trait Preferential Targeting. I am running Antiproton s on the Hydra with a Beam Overload setup. I am using the Baul Antiproton dual beam banks, in part because they jump to other targets and increase my AOE abilities. So adding cannons to this to get the most out of PT, should I go with beams and one heavy cannon or cannons with one dual beam bank? For a second question since I thinking about making an alt a carrier/pet build, what are some of the better carriers to go after for it? C-Store is the easiest to get obviously but if a Lobi or lock box ship is significantly better I can go after one of them with the next event campaign.

You could mix in one Dual Heavy Cannon. I do it all the time on Phaser BO builds to get the Terran Task Force Cannon on. Its a nice way of adding some spread damage to a BO build. This works best with something with Miracle Worker seating because of Mixed Armament Synergy, but you can get away with it an non-MW too. But just the one, any more and you may as well just got all the way with cannons and do CSV instead, and then there'd be no point for PT. Are you wanting a traditional Sci Carrier, or Flight Deck Carrier? For the former, the Jem'Hadar Vanguard Carrier (C-store ship) is probably the best option, it has good seating and has the Wingmen Mechanic. For a flight deck carrier, the best one is probably the Miracle Worker Flight Deck Carrier, either the Constitution or D7 version (both are pretty much the same stats-wise, but the D7 has a much better trait), but those are Promo ships. A good C-store alternative would be the Cardassian Ghemor Intel Flight Deck Carrier.

Must have from phoenix box lol of anything to me a must have is bajorian interceptor for console and experimental weapon as for ground gear of those hand blades I like them as my malee weapon

I got a Science ship from the lobby stor but it moved like a pregnant safe so i wont back to my old temporal ship. Science is fun but the ships are always so slow moving and the turn rate is a drag.

Is there any story mission equipment you would consider to be must have/nice to have?

Still not something I'd pick over an SRO or a Watcher. Boff cooldowns can already been lowered in several better ways, like an Aux2Bat build, Improved Photonic Officer, or the Boimler Effect.

Quick question: I think the trait of the Husnock warship applies to Beam Overload as well from what I've read. Is the 25% Cat2 damage from that trait better than the 100% Cat1 damage from Preferential Targeting? Or are they about comparable to each other?

The Husnock's trait is a Cat2 buff, you can tell because it say "Bonus Damage" in the tooltip. In terms of the actual buff, it's about even to Preferential Targeting's 100% Cat1 buff. The Husnock's trait is good, but isn't used as often because it requires the use of Temporal abilities and/or Directed Energy Modulation. DEM requires a specific duty officer to be of much use, and even with it, it's kinda fallen out of the energy weapon meta. But if you're using a ship with Temporal seating, then yeah, it's good to use. I tend to like Preferential more because it gives me an excuse to throw a cannon on there and get some spread damage on the build, because BO is a very single target build.

@@Stu1701 That makes sense for sure. I'm running an Overload build on the Sagan, so I'm using the Temporal abilities for Unconventional Systems and do have the DOff for DEM. My thought was that I could take off Scatter Volley I (because I don't have cannons on my build) and put in Attack Pattern Beta I and use the Husnock's trait to still get the damage. Do you think that would be better in this instance?

yeah, that would be a good trade-off. The Husnock's trait should do about as well as Preferential, and AP Beta will definitely improve things further.

Dude I wish the ships in STO had way more weapon slots. I understand that it's more balanced right now but if they could add one more aft and fore slots that would be sick. Like for instance, if they released a Borg cube ship, it would have a maximum of 8 weapon slots which is silly.

We should have either weapon slots equal to the quantity of arrays on a ship or one single slot to enter a type of weapon into that our ship will fire from all ports. The whole fore/aft slot thing makes no sense

@@lino222 I have it now got it for 700 lobi because I started playing consistent while also playing bf2042. I did get some ground weapons with lobi and they are amazing!!!plus I learned that going to advanced uniform give me cool looking armor. So now I really play the game everyday plus my ground team all look like they ate wearing cool looking armor just need to give them all better ground weapons.

@@K3nny24 i actually decided to get the D7 Miracle Worker, that was my first choice before considering getting the lobi. i would get the Dsc phaser rifle, bioneural console, the vengeance and the boimler effect...vengeance is cheaper getting it from exchange, and the rest i'll get it later.
