Top 5 Heartbreaking Steelers Losses (2010-2019)

Ойындар

All rights go to the NFL. I have been a Steelers fan since 2010. There’s been a lot of ups, and a lot of downs in those 9 seasons. To start, I’m going to rank my top 5 most heartbreaking moments I witnessed in my 10 years of Steelers games. Remember this is based off of what I’ve watched, so any games from before 2010 won’t be on here because I wasn’t interested back then. I will be making a Top Best Steelers Moments soon! Enjoy!

A few of these they REALLY should’ve won: Pats 2017-Jesse James broke the plane so it should’ve been a touchdown, too bad that wasn’t this year Jags 2017 playoffs-Down by 7 with 2:27 left in the game they decided to go for an onside kick, they still had all three timeouts plus the 2 minute warning, they could’ve kicked it deep that way the Jags would’ve had to work to get into field goal range and the Steelers D could’ve took a stand to force a punt and possibly get a game tying td and force OT Saints 2018-Too many costly mistakes (failed 4th down conversion, Juju’s fumble, etc), and that bs PI call earlier in the game that could’ve changed the WHOLE game As stacked as those teams were they should’ve at least made one Super Bowl from 2014-2021, it’s also shocking that they didn’t even finish with a winning playoff record in those eight seasons

My 5 from 2010-2020 are 5. Saints vs Steelers Week 16 2018 4. Dolphins vs Steelers 2014 3. Patriots vs Steelers 2017 and Jags vs Steelers 2017 in Divisional round 2. Packers vs Steelers Super Bowl 45 1. Broncos vs Steelers 2010 playoffs with Tim Tebow beating us. Update, the game vs Browns is number 1 now. Pain

That’s a good list too. The reason I put the Saints Steelers above the pats game is because the Saints loss basically ended our postseason chances. The pats game we knew we were gonna be in regardless

@@Ybbetter3838 The officials gave New Orleans a free TD on 4th down in the first quarter when from the 35 Brees went deep and way overthrew his receiver but they called Haden for pass interference when not only was it uncatchable but Haden didn't even push him. Both Romo and Nantz said it was the worst PI call they'd ever seen. Would have been change of possession at the Steelers 35 and 7 points the Saints never have. But it worked out for you when they had the no call PI call vs the Rams that same season in the NFC title game. Most Steelers fans didn't feel sorry for the Saints.

#1 got to be Greenbay SB. If mendenall doesn’t fumble we win, if that fumble doesn’t happen and Ben doesn’t throw a pick for TD we 100% win. That year Patriots won with tuck rule against Raiders, I think if Raiders win that game than Steelers would beat Raiders (Steelers always have trouble with New England) then won the SB as Patriots did. The loss to chargers in 94-95 season wasn’t really nothing because nobody had a chance against San Fran. Steelers should have at least 9 SB’s. But oh well.

What this video doesn't show is that the first loss to Denver the Steelers were without Bell and Brown due to injuries and vs the Saints they had given New Orleans a free TD on 4th down in the first quarter when from the 35 Brees went deep and way overthrew his receiver but they called Haden for pass interference when not only was it uncatchable but Haden didn't even push him. Both Romo and Nantz said it was the worst PI call they'd ever seen. In the Tebow game the pas was thrown right where prow bowl safety Ryan Clark would have been instead of his backup coming up too far but Clark couldn't play in the high altitude due to his Sickle Cell disease. The Jessie James game speaks for itself. total ref job since he become a runner when he makes a lunge at the end zone and one knee down untouched equals two feet. in order to make the lunge a football move and not a going to the ground during the catch play.

We own the afc north and teams are just barely gettin a whiff of a W. Enjoy it now… because we will be back sooner than later Bc that’s who we are.
