Steelers downfall still is way worse tbh Eagles had some major injuries and bad coaching the Steelers just kind of fell asleep Also they both lost to Baker Mayfield in the playoffs

Most realistic Steelers fans including myself knew this team wasnt as good as their record when they were 11-0. They were winning in spite of themselves. Clawing and stumbling down the finish line in order to win games. They were all smoke and mirrors.

Yep. I remember saying at like 6-0 that they would blow it. Everybody hated me for it. Called it. 🤣

Also didnt help that they had 3 games games rescheduled that season and really never had a true bye week. The ravens games scheduled for thanksgiving was made up nearly a week later.

That Ravens game was the first true show of their flaws. They barely beat a Ravens team where half the roster was on Covid Reserve.

I remember my brother passed away 12-6-2020. They were 11-0 when he died. After that almost total collapse except a second half comeback vs indy. Coincidence? I don't know..2020 was a strange year.

dang this season feels like yesterday

Every time the Steelers take the final game off to rest the "stars" they fall flat on their ass: 1994 against the charges, 2017 and 2020 against the Browns. These teams beat them in the playoffs BECAUSE having beat the resting team, they knew they could. NEVER take the last game off!

Ben showed that he had juice in him to come back vs the Cowboys and Ravens. He got beat up in that Dallas game. People blame Ben too much though. The defense is the one allowing those other teams to come back, but yes the offense seemed to get complacent. I liked Randy's offense though, but I felt that with Ben's injury which terminated the remaining mobility he had left it was over. Teams seem to figure out the screen plays.

When Bud Dupree got hurt. TJ was tripled and it felt like that was it. I remember where i was when it happened and knew we were in trouble. Playing Washington

It didn't help that they rescheduled 3 of their games that year as well. The ravens game was supposed to have been played on Thanksgiving. It wasn't played until the next Wednesday. And they never truly had a bye week. Why does this stuff only happen to the Steelers? They rescheduled the 2016-17 playoff game vs kc. I still say they did it because they wanted snf ratings. And of course this year's Buffalo playoff game.

I remember having to go into work that night of the wildcard weekend on Sunday. I watched the Ravens game as a Ravens fan and saw it satisfying that they got revenge on the Titans (down to stomping on their logo after the Titans stood on the Ravens logo several weeks before in pregame). Slept through the Trubisky NVP Game (the trolls were hilarious). I tuned in at the end of the first quarter. When I saw the Browns leading 28-0, I thought I my eyes had deceived me. Moral of the story is the 2020 Steelers were pure arrogance. They fucked around with the Browns and found out. That first play in the playoff game was the entire game in a nutshell. The Steelers were arrogant. The Browns saw this and seemed content to make good, smart plays while letting the Steelers shit all over themselves.

Finley isn't even in the league anymore. We got ran on by him like he was Lamar.

This was one fucky year

I felt great for the Browns, that was the year they ended a Playoff drought. And who knows how many playoff wins Browns could get (11-5 at this point)?

We have haters. Those naysers calling us a "bad" team or overrated were just haters. Just look at the close games the Rams won this year. Ben isn't allowing that touchdown to Marquise Brown. The o-line dropped pass and RB getting stopped on 4th down vs Washington wasn't on Ben. People just like hating on the Steelers. Btw, good job with this video! I'm not directing my animosity at you!

Omar khan has been cleaning house. The steelers culture has been bad for at least ten years. Too many me players. Thats never been the steelers way. Too many chase claypools, jujus, diontae Johnsons,devin bush,kenny picketts,mike mitchell l,AB and leveon bells. Need our culture back. Need more hines ward, Jerome bettis,polamalus, james harrison,joey porters. Guys that bleed the black n gold. Personally i think tomlin needs to be gone as well.
