l totally agree that chef Bob is also my favourite guest. He has so much knowledge and passion on food. Hope to see more chef guests.

Ben’s hosting actually reminds me of Ryan 😂 they way he talk, the mannerisms, etc

The beef does not have to be premium in order to feel tender - just use tenderizer. This is what Zi Char stalls love to use. 😆

I enjoyed the 3 young hosts; Ryan can rest well knowing next gen is upcoming and taking on the mantle.

Good combination of host for today . Nigel is improving on the hosting and I think he has good potential in hosting 😊

First episode of foodking featured the claypot laksa and charsiew rice

This hor fun stall is part of the "fast food style". Got identical ones at Ghim Moh, Jurong East, Clementi, so far that I knw of.

Nigel, gt potential to become main host with Ryan le. Should let him do a few episodes while Ben rest behind camera. Surely the dynamic will be different...

I am a frequent guest to Alexandra Village Food Centre and I must admit that the horfun is really good in this part of area, but I never saw any queue at the Lau Phua Chay Authentic Roasted Delicacies (no idea why)

No Ryan really got diff😂

How could you miss the zichar there? Sambal stingray, salted egg prawn, etc. Every single thing on the menu is god tier. And thats why the stall keeps expanding and been alive (over booked) for years.

Claypot laksa used to be my fav, just felt that the feeling or standard have faded with time. Found others around me also felt the same. So abit wasted.

Hahahaha I still remember the early days of food king, Depot Road Zhen Shan Mei Laksa got 3 stars🤣 means they're very consistent hahahaha

Could have featured something better like the beef noodles. Find it better than the “claypot” laksa . When you eat there looks totally different. The roasted delights also tend to overcharge and extra charge w/o any warning until you asked Guess I’ll give it a miss for this time

My fav guests are also chef bob and xiao qian. Chef bob his passion def and know what he is talking abt the food. Xiao qian I like cos everytime she is on I only look at her didn't even see the ryan and ben. I was like eh she is so pretty but also charming. Sorry guys, like my username it's a girls' thing

oh no deck neck is the budget best part.(got skin got bone got tender flesh) if more ppl eat, hong gan liao

Another recommended stall is 新吧剎 TEOCHEW BRAISED DUCK RICE @ #01-84. The duck meat is tender, the braised innard is good too. Give it a try. They are only open for a few hours. Normally its sold out by +- 2 - 3pm.

i honestly wished there were more halal recommendations. i love to watch you guys but then due to lesser halal options , im feeling meh

Claypot laksa is not even good

Lau Phua Chay Authentic Roasted Delicacies has very terrible Google reviews. A lot of them are highlighting the same red flags; overcharged, overpriced and terrible attitude. I usually visits the food stalls that Get Fed recommends, but might give this a miss! 😮😮

Did the first place get featured on n○c b4? Maybe in the earlier ep
