Good choices for sure. One lure not up here that's cheap and effective is a Daiwa SP minnow . The SP Minnow from Daiwa is both inexpensive at $9.99 average price and seriously effective for a range of both inshore and offshore species.

I just started throwing the clear DOA shrimp in south Texas on free line and have been smashing trout on the flats, like they said just let sink and pop it super light. Usually gets smoked as soon as it hits the water 🤙

Legit if you want to catch a fish in Florida use a 1/4 ounce jig head and a swim bait and just reel in and you will catch a fish

You got my favorites in there....Mirrodine XL for sure. I like to use Z-man for soft plastics, very durable. You can catch a dozen fish on the same Z-man and it won't rip.

This is an old video and you may not even see this post. Two questions about the DOA shad you showed. First of all do you primarily fish the 3 inch or the four-inch? Secondly, what is the color number on that particular Shad you showed in the closeup. I really like the looks of that with the red flake. Thanks for the info and the excellent video.

A correction: at night you should throw a black or very dark top water lure as it’s not for you to see but the fish, they are looking up at the moonlit sky so a light colored lure is very hard for them to see.

The Zara Spook is a very popular freshwater bait and I've also heard of people using the D.O.A. C.A.L. in freshwater. I don't see why the mirrolure and live target lures wouldn't work, but it's hard for me to believe that the D.O.A. Shrimp would work well in freshwater
