Flowmaster delta flow 40 series sounds the best for me. No drone, not aggressively loud during driving, idling sounds awsome!

The Super 44 is the best out of all of them but out of the new body style trucks that have a completely different exhaust setup from the factory, I think the muffler delete is the best.

Flow master 50 series delta flow, put one on my 6.4 liter 2500. Hardly any drone, deep rubble when your accelerate smoothly. Roars when you step on the gas lol. Love it, barely any drone in the cab.

The magnaflow actual sounds great on the 18 model 6.2 without the resonator. Single in dual out. No drone and when you step on it its a nice deep rumble.

Something tells me that first guy will be back

What part number on the Flowmaster Super 10 did you use?

I personally like corsa sport exhaust!! Zero cab drone and nice sound. I believe gains 13hp & 10ish torque.

It's the same motor, only difference is the package (trim level) a 6.2 in a Denali is the same as the at4

What's better straight out the back or the sides

I had the super 10 dumped off under my back seat and couldn’t hear myself think. When getting up to speed on the highway. Literally had to wait until I was at highway speed to talk to the person in the passenger seat. That was with an 08 5.3L lol

The first gmc guy needs to cut the resonators. The magma flow is already literally a giant resonater

The helicopter sound is from the AFM/DFM/DOD whichever one your vehicle has, it s when the cylinders are changing from 8 to 4. Gotta delete the active/dynamic fuel management and it will be 8 cylinders all the time and no matter the muffler you won't get helicopter sound.

Needs to get a Pulsar LT and delete it.

Helicopter noise is caused by Active Fuel Management not the transmission it doesn’t matter if it’s a 4spd 6, 8 or 10 AFM makes aftermarket exhaust sound weird

last one for me, Flowmaster!

Mine did the same cause of afm it goes into v4 mode and it sounds like shit with a aftermarket exhaust I have mine deleted with a range afm disabler

If anyone out there is getting the "helicopter" noise with a 19-22 5.3 or 6.2 I would invest in a Pulsar LT. You can disable DFM/AFM and keep it in V8 mode at all times. It also prevents your exhaust/muffler from sounding like a ricer. Plus it can deactivate auto start/stop. It's a great investment. I actually gained MPG turning off DFM/AFM on my 21 6.2 trail boss. I put on a Carven TR on kept the resonators on and no issues.

We got a few videos on them. Good mufflers and give a nice tone

The original flowmaster 40 series with no resonators at the back is what y’all want.

The helicopter sound I believe has to do with AFM when it goes from V4 to V8

How much money are the cats worth? That way when i get my exhaust i have the muffler guy deduct it from my bill!

My thoughts...1st truck... Dude talking in the video: "Its about 20% louder than stock" lol ME: More like 2%! Still better flow than stock though for sure.

I'm looking for advice from somebody with the same experience as me. I have a 2021 Silverado with a 6.2l. it came with a single flapper valve. I installed a Magnaflow direct replacement 3.5" muffler delete pipe. It sounds awesome from outside but not so much from inside. The drone at 1,500, which it cruising speed, just sucks. I want as close as I can get to the beat of both worlds, loud, nasty and throaty without drone. Any recommendations for a muffler? Otherwise, I may have to pop to the Borla cat back dual touring

@@tombanse5450 IMHO Corsa is the way to go. They cut the drone totally. ATAK sounds great too though, you can't go wrong either way.

I took your advice and went true dual, there’s no other options!

The best is Corsa exhaust no drone on inside but load outside

First one is way too quiet. I personally don't understand the point in paying for an exhaust system if it's just as quiet or perhaps even quieter than stock. The performance and fuel economy benefits for any exhaust system is negligible at best and don't really ever show up until you get headers and a tune. Just stick with the stock exhaust if you don't want something that you can actually hear. Definitely a well made exhaust system but still, kind of pointless since it's so quiet.

Guys I need help.... I just bought a 17 Sierra with the 6.2 ..... I dont know anything about mufflers or exhausts..... but the local exhaust shop I called recommend the flow master 44 or super 10 .... any recommendations?

I had a magnaflow cat back system on my 5.3 6 speed transmission and it sounded nothing like that.

Just plug in a RANGE TECHNOLOGY afm delete. Install Borla Atak or Corsa 😉

for the guys that do the muffler delete but leave the resinators in, it makes me wonder how it would sound if the removed the resinators and put in a pair of super 10s, how much different would that sound vs someone that replaced the muffler with a super 10 and removed the resinators

It's probably the audio quality of this video because I believe GM uses borla for their exhaust systems.

Ok.. so my muffler shop guy calls the mid muffler a resonator and tells me the mufflers are those two resonators. Which is it?

Resonator is after the cat, those ones at the back are mufflers.

I could barely hear it. I think those Magnaflow are not worth it if you wanted a deeper sound. Flow series 10 sounds awesome.

I think they sound good. A lot of people just want a deeper sound and don’t need to annoy the entire neighborhood. Did it in highschool. Don’t need that anymore.

Terrible with that 22 in. Magnaflow and factory resonators. He should have gone with a 14 in. Magnaflow.
