Much more expensive than a semi-automated production line. That's how Japan is, advanced and backward at the same time

@@aadaadaa Automated production line requires high capital, major investment (& costly maintenance). Mostly suitable for high volume production, for example, vehicle manufactured by Toyota, Honda, Nissan etc. Product such as this (Campervan), is a very niche item with very low demand, hence low volume & small revenue. Most often than not is not suitable with automated production line at all. People with working experience in both high volume, medium batch & low volume manufacturing workplace will not utter such ill-informed opinion. I have worked with both types of manufacturing companies, one with an annual production volume of near 200,000 units of vehicles, & another one with 1000-2000 units only of mix products for defense, yearly. Different setup for both, different investment, but similar philosophy in quality control & lean manufacturing. You must be very ill-informed & not exposed to outside world. Very backward comment from yourself.

Manual modification, not automated production. There is a lack of profit in this backward production method. I didn't realize that decades old production methods still exist today!
