I find that setting out my clothes and accessories the previous night also helps in getting ready in the morning.

Mason jars are great for parfaits. I also use jars for to-go oatmeal. Place oats and milk in a jar at night. In the morning, top with fruit and granola and go. Love your channel Nikki.

Great tips. I tend to completely cocoon myself underneath the covers. I won't open my eyes and peek out from underneath them without the sound. I have a sunrise alarm lamp that has sound and light settings. I mainly use the town (a rooster crowing, sound of horses walking on streets, and a train whistle) sound to wake up, but it has rain, bird, etc sounds. There's also a thing supposed to capture radio but I haven't gotten that to work. It also can help you sleep as it has a backward setting where the light will gradually dim until it's dark. It was made in 2005 and still works great. My favorite way though was to wake up via a favorite CD album and I tended to pick ones that ran a long time so it would continue playing as I got ready. That broke too soon though.
