It doesn't cause you to lose weight because it doesn't increase your caloric needs, you can just eat through the supplement and still gain weight, so they can't claim it makes you lose weight since other factors are involved.

But one of the key findings of his studies was that positive reinforcement is far better than negative reinforcement in nearly all cases, and while it takes longer to have an effect it leads to much longer-standing and beneficial effect. Said it before, I'll say it again. Mark Cuban is an expert businessman. His ability to detect and pick apart the bs in people's explanations is exactly why you'd want him around. Mr. Pavlok is still my favorite. You can tell when Mark's bs alarm starts going off by his change in facial expressions before anyone even finishes their pitches. Still my favorite shark!

I kind of feel for the minus cal! I understand what he was saying it is blocking the macro Fat not potentially cutting Body Fat. the macro Fat is responsible for more calories so that being said if you can block them from hitting your digestion then yes you are subtracting calories and could lose weight from that. There are a bunch of these pills out there though

Also keep in mind that supplements are to "supplement" in your diet. They are not necessary. You can have a perfectly balanced diet and completely exclude supplements. I loved how Kevin told Minesh off. One of the amazing things of having Mark Cuban aboard, is his ability to read people and call them out. It's not just about the sharks making deals for themselves, it's the sharks actually protecting the public if any of these entrepreneurs' products go mainstream.

Astute observation. Number one rule in negotiations is keep your mouth shut when the other person is talking. Every word out of their mouth gives you information which equals leverage. If you're talking and Mark isn't, best thing to do is keep it short and wrap it up quick, so he can start his interrogation. If you get to that point and he's still in, and ESPECIALLY if he doesn't interrupt the other sharks, you know he's definitely interested!
