I think even if the other shark (except lori) do the deal. The scrub daddy cannot go this far. It's not their field so it's Understandable if they don't take the deal. It's bad for the investor and also bad for the product itself.

@@MrDude-yy8zf in some cases yes but in this case I don’t think so. All he needed was the money to get his own facility. He didn’t really need the sharks for much else. The product was already doing good he just needed them to be produced quicker.

Same, but in New Zealand - not at the supermarket though, but you can get them online or from Bunnings. After trying Scrub Daddy and Scrub Mommy, I am going to try some of their other products too. That being said, because I can be susceptable to marketing hype, before I bought more, I asked my partner which sponges he preferred and he he said he far prefers them, so they are our new go-to sponges.

Aaron was so smart for staying quiet and just wait for them to raise their prices 😂

Lori is incredibly smart. Scrub Daddy is in every store and it's a usual household cleaning item these days even with the "high" price. I've seen Scrub Day in so many cleaning videos, it's unreal! Props to the inventor and Lori ! What a Team!!!

I love this guy. Hes smart, confident, he knew he had a GREAT product and you can see the pride. "You dont know who youre dealing with" was gold. That was confidence at its peak.

I love that he held onto his sponge the entire time like his life depended on it. Not once did he put it down. Not even when hugging lori. That’s dedication

The whole story behind Scrub Daddy is that this guy was a factory manager at a 3M plant for almost 18 years. The material that was used was produced by 3M for a product they never launched and stayed in the factory warehouse for years. 3M never had any interest to continue using this material so they never applied for a patent. Big win for this guy. One day his wife asked him to clean the porch furniture and he got the boxes with the material from the warehouse and went home. That is how he found out that the material softens when using hot water and hardens when using cold water. Pure coincidence.

I've worked in 2 restaurants and have washed thousands of pounds of dishes. With brillo pads, scotch brite pads, and stainless steel scrubbers. The Scrub Daddy is actual a phenomenal product. I do not have a dish washer and do all my dishes by hand. My current Scrub Daddy is going on 6 months and has not torn, does not smell, does not damage dishes, and still Scrubs fantastic. Im sold

Yeah. At the end of the day it's still a dish sponge, but they pack in so many useful features compared to a traditional sponge. It doesn't get stinky, which is the biggest plus for me, it's far more durable, and the temperature affecting the texture of it is pretty neat. Plus on top of that, it's cute! Just a happy little guy helping you keep your kitchen clean. Fantastic product.

It’s my FAVORITE sponge!!!! It NEVER has gotten smelly or moldy or dirty which is incredible! I think I paid almost $10 for mine and that was over a year ago but I’d buy it for $30 if I needed

The moment Lori saw it hold that 10 pound weight she was like I WANT that sponge bro

1. Sponges are one of the cheapest things you can make. It might cost $1 in small scale, but if they make factory, each piece can cost less than $0.1. 2. Due to low weight, transportation cost is also very low. 3. It also do not break or get damaged or expire. 4. And everyone needs it, regardless of how poor or rich they are. 5. And would have to be replaced every couple of months. Basically it is the perfect product, with recurring revenue and extreme profits.

The way Aaron holds the Scrub Daddy throughout the entire pitch is the cutest thing you can tell how proud and passionate he is about the product and how much he really wanted to share it with the world

Although if you consider how much it scaled from when it was pitched, doing sales of only 100k to a staggering 140million in such a short time, and the fact that NO ONE could have expected this from a "cleaning scrub" whereas ring from the onset was a product in a market it could dominate quickly.

My grandma would spend a good chunk of her social security check and my late grandpa's pension checks and also maxed out multiple credit cards buying stuff on QVC in her old age, until the family realized and one of my aunts got Power of Attorney and handled her finances. My grandma would sit and watch QVC (and game shows and older movies on TCM) all day and order a bunch of stuff like this. She definitely would have ordered a bunch of Scrub Daddys for all her kids and grandkids if she was able to. It sells. It's also just a good product.

you can tell lori cleans at home and is familiar with the target audience of this product. none of the other sharks saw the potential of a simple sponge but lore understands the value of a product like this

Absolutely. Recently, I bought 16 of them, 4 pack with 4 in each package when they were on sale at QVC. Once you use them, you can't live without them.

One of the smartest guppies I've ever seen on this show. Kept his mouth shut and let the sharks feed frenzy each other.

It's crazy because I remember when scrub daddy came out. I had no idea it was on the show. I looked at it and said "I'm not paying that much for a sponge just because it has a smiley face." I remember making fun of it! For reference, I'm a professional cleaner and VERY picky about my scrubbers. Then it went from being on the end cap to taking up a quarter of the aisle. My brother in law was a dish washer at the time and swore by it. So I finally purchased one, and yeah. Of course it worked wonders for most of my duties. The only thing it didn't work well for was sinks for some reason. They always fall apart within a couple days but I think that's because I use really hot water. But counters, stoves, dishes, grout 👍

In a Forbes interview, Aaron said that Lori thought the product was a scam, she thought Aaron had two different sponges and didn't believe the sponge actually changed texture. She asked Aaron to try her own sample, and it worked, and it blew her mind. It was clear she was going to be the one investing in it. The producers cut that out of the show because they didn't want to make it obvious who ended up investing in the product. I imagine that had influence over the other investors.

I actually met Aaron Krause at the airport yesterday, and he was extremely nice. He’s sending me and my siblings free scrub daddy tshirts, gave us free gifts, and talked with my dad for a majority of the flight. He was extremely humble and incredibly nice.

You can see when lori eyes went big when he explained about the sponge for heavy duty applications, she instantly knew how many people who wash dishes would actually be interested in it

I live at the end of the world in New Zealand and I just bought my first Scrub Daddies!!! He must be laughing to the other side of his face and good for him. He deserves to be successful!

Lori always says : “I can tell instantly if the product is a Hero or Zero” and she said this is a Hero, and she is right.

I've been dealing with a smelly one. I have to wash my hands afterwards, because it smells so horrifyingly.

One of the best sponges. Seriously, smiley face cuteness aside it works so well better than other sponges.
