Or just remove all these archaic clowns all together . The warning “ beware of the horses as they may bite “. It doesn’t say “ keep away “ or “ forbidden by law to touch “. Some of these guards allow people to touch the horses for 10 seconds , then suddenly burst into some stupid shout . Dumb and useless traditions

These tourists are entitled to absolutely nothing. They should consider it a privilege to have their picture taken with the guard and horse. As such you would think at the very least they would have enough manners to wait until the two guards are done speaking with each other before bulldozing their way in for a photo op, and not moving when asked to.

The royal guards are treated with no respect by the monarchy administration because they are paraded like zoo animals subject to abuse and harassment anytime. They're under stress all the time not knowing which idiot is going to do something to like throwing stones at the crocodiles to annoy them. The guards should all moved inside the palace and given something meaningful to do and only appear in public during special occasions. British people please bring this up the media, the government, the rights groups and the palace admin.

It’s a fantastic job you guys do filming the guards and highlighting the stupidity of some tourists and should the police need to make an arrest you have the perfect evidence for a conviction. I just wish the tour guides would inform everyone in their groups, how privileged they are , yes Privileged to have the opportunity to get this close to serving soldiers and take pictures. They need to emphasise the importance of proper conduct around the guards and their horses for their safety and others. Them grabbing the reins of the horses is like grabbing the steering wheel of a car , stupid and reckless. So thank you and all of the other wonderful bloggers that cover the guards for those who can’t get to be there themselves and seeing how immaculate our troops look on duty.

To prevent people from touching the horse or getting too close to the guard, install heavy-duty stainless steel railing (1.8m x 1.8m, but left open on one side for the guard/horse to exit). It may not totally prevent but at least (hopefully), the railing acts as a barrier to minimize any form of contact.

What the Flock is wrong with these air-breathers? Holy crap, the ministry should, and I SHOULD place a chain perimeter barrier around the kings guard from the sidewalk around! Simple and effective! Ministry of Defense are YOU LISTENING? Have compassion for the what these guards are going through!😕

The ignorance of some people is staggering. The guy taking the selfies sticking his elbow into the horse was lucky the horse didn’t retaliate. Boils my blood this does!

The horse that’s acting up is uncomfortable with his bit. You can see it’s cutting into the corner of his mouth.
