Hello ma'am. I came across your videos I watched almost all of them. After watching your videos I realised many things: 1) how wrongly I was dealing with my weight loss journey. 2) as u said, In 2020 I hired a nutritionist for weight loss, since then I am trying to lose weight. I lost weight then gained back again, lost then again gained. This process continues. Recently in 6 months I lost weight (10kgs) but since three months I am not losing further less than ,65kg. 3) since the day I joined nutritionist, I just think of food as carbs, protein fat etc. 4) i am fed up of counting calories, weighing rice and flour and snacks etc. 5) everytime I used to eat more, I instantly used to feel guilty, and started thinking of next day plans, detox. Used to feel stressed and so annoying. 6) this happened not once but many times. After watching your videos I feel so bad about the approach I was following. I was a food lover, Every time I used to eat anything favourite, I was just in guilt, more stress and all. I started hating to party or wedding so that my diet doesn't break. Thank you ma'am from your videos I have realised that we should love ourselves, our food and culture. Thanks a lot for opening our eyes. I request you to please make a video regarding people like us, who were into those fad diets, and now how can we get back on track?

Hi Sree. In 2018 I had severe health issues due to excessive work pressure n that worsened my pcod... so from end of 2018 I started eating home cooked meals on time.. reduced anything packaged to the min incl things like biscuits n shifted to makhana n dry roasted chana n other stuff with tea ... hydration n exercise was also the focus. My diet was simple.. morning meal 1 banana.. on getting up 2 breakfast was mostly poha Upma 3. Around 11.30 some fruit, 4 lunch :ghar ka usual rice dal sabzi followed by curd.. 5. Chai n makhana/ dey fruits/ dry roasted chana 6. Roti sabzi n little ghee Stress plays a imp role so I tried to manage it with meditation n walking out door.. ensured that I exercise every day.. on days I did not have time ... I would just do some form of exercise for 10 mins just to keep the habit going.. In 3 months I could see my skin improve n other pcod symptoms reducing n my menses were back Hope this helps

I really thank God for that....such things don't happen at my home...we as kids have always been taught about gender equality and I have never seen my mother making morning tea...my father makes the tea....it's always been like that...my brother can cook my dad is an excellent chef!!! In fact when my mum n my brother were down with covid for 3 months my dad did everything, from taking care of them to washing dishes...n still does that as sometimes my mum don't have the energy...god bless my father....god bless all those fathers, brothers and husbands....I was shocked when I saw this male patriarchy system at my in law's home...thank god my husband is different...he didn't fall for that ❤️🙏

Such an important topic raised about gender. This is a sad but true reality in India and many other asian countries and this needs to change. House responsibilities should be shared equally by all members of the family so that all moms/sisters/wifes can go out excercise and make it part of their daily life. Kudos to team Rujuta for bringing this topic to the forefront.

@Canterbury Tales It's women too who have work and hence don't find time to exercise. That's the reality for most people wether men or women. Reality is before there was lots of physical activity in normal work but with technology and food changes . People have started realising slowly that exercise is important but something like that needs to be incultivated from childhood.

I was eating sugar and home sweets frequently even if after eating clean veg home cooked food. Eating sweets will encourage yo eat more sweets. If somebody had sugar cravings after meal first do fasting 16:8 or till you can control your hunger to maximum comfortable level otherwise your brain doesn't let's you cut down on big meals and sweets. Then it's easy to control your urge to eat sugar/more food. I am big fan of rujuta but I don't agree on everything she says. I was one of the peron who thinks 16:8 fasting is crazy but I changed my mind after knowing the benefits of fasting. how our body has changed to new routine of constant feeding compared to our ancestors. I started extending my fasting hours slowly from 12 hours to 16 hours. Now don't feel restless or peek in pantry while I am fasting or determined to fast. I want continue fasting because my aunt grandma had cancer even if after eating clean home food. Never in their life had package foods. There are other factors also like pesticide and chemicals / cotton seed oil/ vegetable shortenings. Give your body time to heal by water fasting frequently or once a while as we are leaving in modern world its hard eat and work like our grandmothers. We only eat how much our grandmothers use to eat but don't work like them. I love and respect the traditional recipes our Indian culture has given.

Increasingly people are beating themselves over their body being a bit fat, too much tummy. We are just in constant mode of judging ourselves from what we see outside, what we see in Instagram. Try to have confidence in yourself whether you look fat or whatever. We are on our own paths, will reach out goals eventually. But make sure you don't treat yourself like your worst enemy every day. That's worthless and useless. Chill out. Peace.

Many feel the same way.. To have the session fully in English. But, let's consider she is our precious gift to all of us Indian and of course all in the world. This bilingual way of speech seems useful to majority of the Hindi speaking states... She is very talented how tactically she is presenting in both language.
