We have similar culture here in Telugu states of Andhra and Telangana where in we invite people for Makar Sankranthi and make the children of the household sit, the adults do a small ritual of pouring a handful of ber over little childrens' heads. Didn't know the logic behind it until now when I watched ur video. We call the ritual "bhogi pallu" , bhogi = regi = ber and pallu = fruits in Telugu. Thanks Rujuta.

Your videos are really great & very helpful . It is a pleasure to watch them . Ma’am , all the veggies & fruits that you talk about are mostly found around Maharashtra & areas around it . Please include things that are more India centric too . Some of the stuff you talk about we haven’t even heard of ! Also, Indians staying abroad cannot follow your food suggestions as these things are not available there too . It would help if you include local food from around each state of India & countries around the world .
