I believe there's alot to do in Jakarta apparently its such a huge metropolitan that a few days wasnt enough. I was told to visit the SCBD. You can try that location

Farell & Sheila, IMHO this is one of the best video about Jakarta i've ever watched! thank you for visiting our Jakarta (btw while in Jakarta i think you missed Car Free Day in Sudirman street every sunday, ASHTA Distric 8, Sarinah, M Block Space, SCBD, PIK 2, Kepulauan Seribu, Ancol/Dufan). you should be visited other part of Indonesia too (which i'm waiting for from you soon) like Bandung, Yogyakarta, Bali, Lombok & Gili Trawangan, Mount Bromo, Taman Safari Bogor, Labuan Bajo, Sumba, Raja Ampat, Sabang Island, etc. salamat po & terima kasih!

Absolutely agree, this IS the Jakarta experience! Totally get why you mentioned missing Car Free Day, Sudirman sure sounds awesome. I've heard of it during my recent trip and I just gotta have to experience it too. I shared about it in my channel as well as my trip in Yogyakarta! 🇮🇩

Yes we felt we got tourist rate for that short distance. It was still our first day in the country so still adjusting to the rates hahaha thank you for the heads up atleast we know now that the rate was steep

@@InvestedAdventure in jakarta you can find beef rendang in padang restourant call "pagi sore" or "sederhana" or "merdeka"..while for martabak you can find it in every corner but if you want legend stall try. Martabak pecenongan or martabak san fransisco or orins ..goodluck

We tried in sabang martabak it wasnt that good. But i do know a place recommended by people its called martabak boss. You can give it a try.

Yes but alot of tourist still dont really know about it. All i know about indonesia is bali. Jakarta has always been like a transit point. Thats why its always overshadowed. Thats why we wanted our experience in a capital that felt like a hidden gem

The first place to eat that you show is not a Padang food stall... it is more popularly known as *"Warung Tegal"* which serves a variety of standard Indonesian home-cooked dishes.

Great call on the Warung Tegal and I gotta say, it sure looks like a great spot to try authentic Indonesian food. Reminded me of all the good local eats I had on my recent trip which I also shared in my channel - so much variety and flavour! I gotta try more local foods when I return for sure!

@@FarellandSheila Next time if you visit Jakarta, make a day trip to Bogor Botanical Garden. Bogor city is one hour by commuterline train from central Jakarta. And must do activity in Jakarta is Car Free Day every sunday morning in Thamrin - Sudirman street.

@@FarellandSheila hanya saran, untuk hotel buget direkomendasikan pilih di kawasan Dukuh atas karna kawasan itu terjangkau semua moda transportasi publik, MRT,LRT, airport train, comuter ,BRT , bus listrik semua dikawasan itu juga sangat dekat dgn Plaza indonesia dan grand indonesia, dan harap siapkan emoney , terutama untuk Grab, dan beli card untuk publik transfortasi di stasiun Comuter sehingga anda lebih mudah eksplore jakarta, dan sekedar info juga bus tingkat city view di jakarta free
