You guys need better sports researchers. Aside from mispronouncing names; you included 2 White Sox brawls but not their craziest one (Tigers), no mention of the batter who karate-kicked the opposing catcher, or the Juan Marichal incident, etc. And that's just baseball!

Realistically, most of these could have been filled with hockey games gone wrong. One particular Philadelphia - Ottawa game in 2004 comes to mind where it took officials an hour and a half to rack up all of the penalty minutes after the two teams exploded on each other, breaking the NHL record with 419 penalty minutes alloted to both teams, or the 1987 World Junior Ice Hockey Championship in Czechoslovakia where Canada and Russia went at it, fought for almost 20 minutes, until officials shut the lights off in the arena so players couldn't see each other in the dark, in order to end the meelee. Both teams were ejected from the tournament (although Russia was already eliminated, but potentislly cost Canada the Gold). Now THAT was a fight. Hunt for them on KZread.

Yup, in Finland we still remember that one too well, because we won the gold medal, partly because of that game. That would not have potentially been the case if Canada had won with at least 5 goals and the fight would not have happened. Far-fetched, sure, but not impossible if we talk about Canada.

Red Wings vs Avs should be massively higher considering (all the details this video left out) in which Drapper was knocked out and taken out of the game which was a playoff game that led the Avalanche to go to the Stanley Cup and win it, the full clearing brawls were then at their 1st game the following season so there was months of time between the two incidents and everyone knew it was going to be a blood bath because of what had happened. Secret Base did a full video on it that gives it a ton more detail, which I know you can't cover it all here but at least could have been covered a bit more accurately.

Oilers vs Flames on February 1, 2020. With just under a half minute to go in the second period, Sam Gagner digs under Cam Talbot's equipment for the puck as the whistle blows, resulting in a line brawl. While the mayhem in the Calgary zone was going on, Oilers netminder Mike Smith took the opportunity to skate to center ice and wait for Talbot to join him. Flames forward Matthew Tkachuk and Oilers defenseman Ethan Bear began firing away near the point in the Calgary zone, just as Bear's defensive partner Darnell Nurse pointed toward center ice, baiting Talbot into a goalie fight. Talbot came into the game in relief of David Rittich, who allowed 5 goals prior to the incident. With 24.5 seconds on the clock when it was all said and done the officials decided to have the intermission then and there to allow the players to cool off before resuming the game. Talbot was previously a member of the Oilers in their 2017 playoff run while Smith was a member of the Flames in their 2019 playoff run. Milan Lucic and James Neal also swapped jerseys in a trade between the two clubs in 2018-19. It wasn't a bench clearing brawl and didn't involve participation from coaches or fans, but it was still entertaining as it followed up an earlier game in Edmonton, where Dave Rittich flipped his stick following a save that gave Calgary the shootout win. Oilers were mad after that, and chased the Flames out of the Saddledome with an 8-3 win.

How is it possible you don't have the IIFH fight between Canada and the UUSR not on this list? It should be number one on the list. Every player from both teams was on the ice actually fighting someone else. It got so out of hand both teams were disqualified and since the game was in Russia the Canadian team was escorted out of the country in busses, and had to fly home from a neighboring country.

So, I guess that the takeaway here is that baseball is a very violent sport for being largely non-contact. There was an infamous story from the 40's or 50's of a game in Montreal involving the Canadiens and their fans. It started with a fight on the ice, which is pretty much par for the course in hockey. The fight on the ice triggered a fight amongst the fans in the stands, and that fight spilled over into the streets of Montreal, triggering a full-scale riot that required some time to finally resolve.

You could do a number of videos on Aussie rules football brawls. They happen often. Two of the best involve my team essendon and our hated rivals hawthorn. The first the 1985 grand final and the line in the sand match of 2004. 😮

Three remarkable soccer-related brawls from Mexico: 1983 - Club America vs. CD Guadalajara at the Mexican league semifinal game. It had to be broken by the police. 1997 - CD Toros Neza vs. the Jamaican National Team. It wasn't even an official match, and it became a slum brawl. 2004 - Club America vs. CF São Caetano at the Copa Libertadores quarter finals. Some fans entered the field, even with all the countermeasures set up to prevent this to happen.

The FIU-Miami brawl happened because FIU is in Miami, and there was the jealousy of FIU players that grew up in Miami watching the Hurricanes win national championships and wanting to follow up that success, only to not get recruited by Miami or any other big-time school, and now they're getting beat by the Hurricanes....in Miami.

There are so many all out brawls in soccer, mostly in South America and Turkey, that would put all of these, maybe minus the hockey ones, to shame... Also there are more NHL brawls that would top most of this list than one can count.
