Because the club Suarez played for refused to sell him so he made sure they had no choice. He got a move to liverpool after the first. Got a pay rise after the second just to keep him and his punishment for the 3rd was a move to Barcalona. He hasnt done it since because there really isnt a move higher.

I disagree. At some point when fans are able to assault or throw things at players, the players need to make a stand. Notice how they said that several fans faced criminal charges? That tells you where the blame truly belongs. Whenever any of these showed fans getting physical vs players, I applaud the players putting them in their place.

Fun fact: Last year (2020) in Fame MMA, Polish MMA federation MMA for popular people and influencers, Marcin Najman (famous MMA sportsman) was supposed to fight with Don Kasjo (known from MTV's Warsaw Shore) in the boxing formula. At first they started to fight normally, but then Najman KICKED Don Kasjo, which was against the boxing rules. After getting a negative point the fight resumed, but then Najman PUT HIS OPPONENT ON THE GROUND AND STARTED PUNCHING HIS FACE WHILE SITTING ON HIM. That was still in the boxing formula. Najman was very quickly disqualified, but after a minute he jumped onto Don Kasjo and tried to screw him up again, this time lots of security staff had to react. While Don Kasjo was held on the ground by the security guards just in case, NAJMAN'S COACH TRIED TO BREAK HIS LEG. Everything was registered on the cameras live. Don Kasjo was transported to the hospital fortunately with just the twisted ankle, Marcin Najman and his coach were banned indefinitely from the Fame MMA federation (in which Najman won one battle), they lost their contract wages and will be sued for phyhsical damages to Don Kasjo and for public damages and defamation for Fame MMA.

Try to imagine the fear that NBA players got when they had to guard Shaq.🤣

They used to use the term Shaq-flu. Some players would mysteriously get “sick” on game days playing Shaq, and be all better the next day to play another team.

The Malice in the Palace is one of the most disgraceful moments in all of sports. I still have that full game (I recorded) on VHS, lol. The Kermit Washington punch to Rudy was also reallyyy bad. There's a book called "The Punch" which covers how that one moment completely altered both players lives. Good read. Also great call on the Black Sox scandal. The movie "Eight Men Out"... if you haven't seen it, is excellent.

Good list. Zidane was one I hoped you all remembered. I would add when Robin Ventura charged Nolan Ryan on the mound during a baseball game and Ryan immediately got him in a head lock and started punching Ventura repeatedly. Ventura was a young player and I think Ryan was about 40 years old. It was great.

He also wasnt really a boy. He was a teenager that bragged during that day that he was gonna do everything to help Swansea win, by throwing the ball quickly to Swansea and slowing down Chelsea's play. I dont like or support Chelsea but his actions were much more negative to sportsmanship.

Honestly ortiz had that coming. Nobody ever talks about the headbutts he constantly was throwing in the fight. They only mention the big one. The red also started the clock again, and as they say, protect yourself at all times. I'm not even a Mayweather fan.

I've never been a Mayweather fan. But that was legit. Ortiz was fouling him all fight long. Yeah there were legit exchanges where Ortiz won, but these were punctuated by headbutts, elbows, and other fouls. And yeah, the referee signaled that the fight should continue. It was not a punk move.

Yes, it was legal but it was unsportsmanlike. That was the WHOLE point of the video, dumbass fanboy. Ortiz was apologizing and floyd took advantage of that. Floyd would've won either way. He didn't need to sucker punch the guy.

I saw the footage on another WatchMojo video. His throat was effectively slit and his jugular and carotid artery were both cut. The doctor had to reach in the wound and pinch the arteries shut so he wouldn’t lose too much blood and die. Probably one of the most gruesome moments in sports history.

Clint Malarchuk of the Buffalo Sabres. I believe he had his carotid artery severed by St. Louis' Steve Tuttle. But Tuttle didn't mean to do it. It happened in a collision. Doesn't really belong on this list.

In Athens (2004), the brazilian marathon runner Vanderlei Cordeiro was attacked by an irish priest. He was leading the competition. That was a huge disrespectful moment in sports history.

I was watching that game live when Arrest elbowed Harden. Not only super violent but also bizarre because it came out of nowhere. No prior conflict led up to it. So sudden and completely uncalled for. The most wtf moment I've seen in sports.

I still remember when hazard got a red for trying to kick the ball out from under that little shit😂😂
