I actually completely agree with your Afterburn take. Everybody hypes it up but I just couldn’t find those rides that everybody raves about. Definitely want to give it another shot and hopefully find what everybody talks about

My favorite B&M invert is Alpengeist at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, followed by Montu at Busch Gardens Tampa, Banshee at Kings Island, Dragon Challenge at Universal's Islands of Adventure (Hungarian Horntail and Chinese Fireball respectively), Raptor at Cedar Point, Silver Bullet at Knott's Berry Farm, Goliath at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Batman: The Ride at Six Flags Over Texas, Six Flags Great America, and Six Flags Over Georgia respectively, and Great White at SeaWorld San Antonio.

The only inverts I’ve ridden are SFOG Batman, Afterburn, Raptor and Alpengeist and I thought I was crazy for having Batman at the top. SFOG Batman really is on another level IMO

I can definitely agree with a few of these. I had my skepticism about SFOG's Batman, but that ride delivers. I'm missing SFOT's Batman and Vampire, but have done Flight Deck, which i'd probably put top 5 in this list even though it's one of the shortest. Gets a bit tricky once you had Oziris, Black Mamba and Katun though.

Great list with some unique takes! I hope you consider more ranking videos in the future... would love to see how you stack up those RMCs! I've done all B&M Inverts in North America and 4 in Europe. My list: 1. Montu 2. Raptor 3. Afterburn 4. Black Mamba 5. OzIris 6. Banshee 7. Alpengeist 8. Flight Deck 9. Silver Bullet 10. Talon 11. Great Bear 12. Batman (SFOG) 13. Batman (SFMM) 14. Batman (SFGAm) 15. Vampire 16. Shadows of Arkham 17. Batman (SFSL) 18. Batman (SFOT- I made a comment earlier on your Twitter about how this one is much better now haha) 19. Batman (SFGAdv) 20. Goliath 21. Great White 22. Monster (Gröna Lund) 23. Patriot I will say B&M Inverts are all at least good. I really think all of them are probably 7.5-8/10 minimum in my opinion.

Just because it's at my homepark alpengeist is my favorite but I will admit montu is the best for sure

If you go to Japan you will be tempted to skip Shima Spanish Village over Universal Studios, Disneysea, Fuji-Q Highland and Nagashima Spa Land. It doesn't have a huge selection of rides. It's difficult to get to. I understand. But it has Pyrenees. My favourite rollercoaster in the world. No other coaster on this trip made me grin like Pyrenees. I thought I was a classic coaster guy who loved historical wooden coasters and steel coasters with huge lifthills and drops....but it turned out I am an invert guy! My favourite element, above airtime, drops and helixes, is the feeling of being pulled outwards in those inverted loops. 🥰

If I had a dollar for every time you said Batman…😂 Great video though, I haven’t ridden half of these, I loved Afterburn, Great Bear was so smooth, same for Raptor. I really liked Banshee as well, but I really need to ride Montu! I see what you did with the clips and word placements lol.

Nice editing and script. You can tell the effort you put into this video. I've given up ranking Batmans. Just collectively: "Batman the Ride". Where would you put OzIris curiously? I think between Oziris, Black Mamba and Monster @ Grona. Europe wins the cat. I know Nemesis has it's fans too.

I gotta say, Batman at magic mountain has been running amazing recently! But banshee is still my favorite invert.

Love that Banshee is in the top 5! Hoping this year that the rattle has gone down a little since it's pretty much my favorite invert! Even after riding Black Mamba at Phantasialand in Germany a few weeks ago. 🙂

Bryant, where do you think Dueling Dragons (or even Dragon Challenge if you're like me and sadly only have done the non-dueling version) would rank on your list? I generally find inverts to be a lot for my stomach (especially Batman: The Ride at Six Flags St. Louis), but I didn't have any issues on Dragon Challenge. Fun video!

Thank you Dan! I definitely preferred Chinese Fireball from my memory, and it’s tough because I didn’t ride it “as an enthusiast”, but I’d probably say it’s around #7 or #8, with Hungarian Horntail maybe 9-10ish?

Montu 2. Alpengeist 3. Afterburn- Yellow train is tracking better than the red in 2024. 4. Raptor 5. Flight Deck- you need to get to this one before they close it. 6. Great Bear 7. Batman (SFOG)- Best Batman invert 8. Batman (SFMM)- Close second 9. Batman (SF GAm) 10. Batman (SFOT) 11. Batman (SF GAdv) 12. Goliath 13. Batman (SFSL) 14. Great White 15. Banshee- Layout is good but that rattle is brutal 16. Silver Bullet- You failed to mention the ramp. 17. Talon- My #500 coaster, wish I liked it more but still a milestone coaster 18. Question; where would you put Great NorEaster in this list? Personally I have it ranked in-between Talon & Alpie (I have Alpie ranked a little lower than most because I've only gotten rough rides) Also thought I was crazy for thinking the Over Georgia clone was faster than the others.

Nah OG Batman is for sure LEGIT! Oh man that’s hard to say since it’s an SLC… I mean it has the best view of any of these 😅. I’d probably say between Banshee and Talon (so #6)

@@coaster365 I only got morning rides on Talon since inclement weather shut the coasters down for a lot of the short day I had at Dorney Park. As for Afterburn, I rode it in 2022 and wasn’t impressed, and then in 2023 it knocked my socks off. Seems like you got really unlucky with it

Also, wow, I don't understand your silver bullet ranking at all. Maybe I was there on a bad day, but that was easily one of the most dissapointing rides I have had on any coaster. I was sad about raptor at 10, but SB just confused me.
