I like this waterpark a lot, although I wasn't a fan of them making this a separate gate after it used to be included with admission to Great America. I confess it doesn't necessarily need to be included as you could spend a full day here, but if it were up to me, I would've kept it included with admission and built a separate entrance similar to what Cedar Fair has done to Soak City and Carolina Harbor waterparks at Kings Island and Carowinds respectively.

Ok I took my daughter to six flags yesterday and I thought it was all included. I found out that it wasn't when got there. I'm glad I saw this cause I haven't been since a kid.

when it was included lots of guests didnt know or plan to go to the water park and would go in the pools in their clothing (Not wearing proper swimwear can affect the clarity of the pools) and would try to ride rides (Sometimes slipping through and would cause damage to the slides.. every feel those sharp scrapes on your back on a body slide? those are from scratches from non swimwear) because they would refuse to buy swimwear and it would over crowd the water park with people just walking around

I do recall a time when Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor were one theme park.

This park would be awesome but the rides are a lot closed but I went this year and everything was open but drop pods and lazy river

crazy that they would close the lazy river. i understand there might be staffing issues, but that is one of the most dependable water attractions that has a wide audience

Love the variety of the slide at this park HH Los Angeles really has an aging collection of slides but that’s because it’s only 15 acres

I’m so close by this park and magic waters

I never get time to go to hurricane harbor when I go. Definitely need 2 full days to enjoy both.

@@ShadezParks i'm sorry to tell you but they closed the trapdoor slides at SFGAM. I asked the park about it :( it's a shame because i never rode them in my limited trips to the park back in the day...now i go here regularly and they're probably gone for good if you want a similar experience, Noah's Ark has the looping trapdoor slide. it's a lot of fun!

Yeah and it doesn’t look like it’s much better this summer. woohoo racers looks like it’s closed for the season if it ever opened

@@TheCoasterSpot i think they closed the trapdoor slides too (Mega Wedgie and Dive Bomber) for the whole season, which is a huge bummer. They also changed the rules i think so that they don't allow single riders on Tsunami Surge anymore which is lame i wouldn't mind it as much if they included HH with Six Flags admission, but they don't

When I was there in June, the website said that a lot of slides like Wahoo Racer, Tornado, Tsunami Surge, Bahama Mama, Bubba Tub, Vortex, and Typhoon were all closed. But when I got there, it was only Dive Bomber, Mega Wedgie, and the lazy river that were closed. I don't know why Six Flags says a lot of rides are closed, but I can tell you that most of it is wrong.

@@mitchellries256 it sucks though that Dive Bomber and Mega Wedgie are closed. The trapdoor slides are two of their most thrilling slides there Hurricane Harbor Rockford has had its trapdoor slide closed for a long time too apparently
