The early to mid 2000s were his years. From Romeo must die, to kiss of the dragon, the one, cradle to the grave. True legend!

I thought the 90s' were his peak. The 2000s' were his post-prime days when he tried to recreate some of that same magic in Hollywood. I don't think it reached the same level as his Hong Kong work but he had some good moments here and there.

Your article is great, very well written. I have a few favorites that didn’t make your list, but I can’t criticize your choices. Do you know what martial art Jet uses in the final fight of Bodyguard From Beijing? It looks like a lot of chin na techniques, but I don’t recognize the style. Keep up the great work!

Why thank you. I've wondered the same about what fighting style(s) Jet Li incorporated into the final fight from Bodyguard from Beijing. Not sure what Wushu form the grappling is based on but back when I had my Baguazhang fight scene compilations up I posted the question in the video after the clip and someone said those palm strikes might be Bagua but also looked like Tain Chi movements, both martial arts that Jet Li is a practitioner of. And can I ask which of your personal favorites were left out of the list?
