@@MadisonAiello I think there won't be an actual winner. I know the director himself said so, but what if they're doing this just for marketing? Both Godzilla and Kong will live. They'll team up against MechaGodzilla and in the end Godzilla will stay king of the monsters on the surface while Kong will become king of the Hollow Earth

The monster parts were cool but every time it showed the people story line it was super cringeworthy. I mean ebriah taking down by a strickforce of 5 people was dumb asf when they jump as high as he is tall

His roar should've been showcased more. It is literally my favorite sound in the world. Otherwise, great list. Godzilla is the best.

11:30 was quite sad. When he let out the dome of heat, you could see Mothra, who sacrificed her life to protect the previous injured Godzilla from Ghidorah's lightning blast, wings appeared along with it. My theory was that was Godzilla's way of showing his memory of her.

Well yeah. I mean his opponent is a walking nuclear reactor that can shoot a radiation beam from his mouth. And kongs just an giant Ape. Kind of an unfair matchup without giving kong some kind power or weapon to level the playing field. But I do like the thought of him spending time in Hollow Earth and he gains some kind of super power. Mainly a defense against the radiation bc that was his biggest obstacle when he fought Godzilla. If he could tank that, THEN we got ourselves a fight!

@@isisatlantis3168 he had an axe and city advantage vs flat open fields, even without the breath you saw when they fought close combat Godzilla tear trough kong savage mode he stood no chance Gman basically killed him if it wasn’t for the humans he would have died there and then Hell if it wasn’t for the humans aiding king yet again he would have died on the ocean first scene and even the war bat scene would be a hmmm moment as humans had to intervine for a 3rd time. Not hating on kong just don’t really think he would ever be a match, specially if the same scenario with mothra’s synergy he could never withstand that type of fire power, as for king getting powers I think it be weird seeing him use something he wasn’t born with out of no where just to make him a challenger plenty of other op Kaiju that could naturally do better the whole old movie when a lighting bolt came out of nowhere to revive king and give him powers was just bad bad writing that made 0 sense.

Legend has it in the original Oxford dictionary, the phrase "beast mode" is one word with a picture of Godzilla next to it.

If this is who King Kong is up against, it's going to be an unforgettable battle. The irresistible force will once again meet the immovable object.

Thank you for the clips, you are spot on about everything. Like Christopher Frazier said Godzilla is beast mood in every since of the word. I have been a big fan of Godzilla since I was little boy and im 41 now and I will not stop being a big fan of Godzilla. When they came out with the Godzilla movie 2017 I was at the theater on the first day cheering. I love that monster.

I went and seen the American Zilla movie in 98. I was 11. After growing up with the older movies. I remember walking out of the theatre thinking “that was something, but it wasn’t Godzilla ”. Lol.

Growing up as a kid I was an immediate & lifelong fan of Godzilla after seeing a double feature one Saturday afternoon. The films shown was the American edit of the original movie and the following movie was King Kong vs. Godzilla. So when I heard that they were making a new 1998 I was very skeptical and kept my expectations very low. The crazy thing is I had set the bar so low yet the movie was even worse than I imagined. So a few years later a friend of mine tells me that I've gotta check out this new Godzilla movie especially this one scene in particular. Needless to say we ended up watching the scene over and over for at least 10-12 times. Full Beast Mode Indeed.

7:46 Keizer Ghidorah isn't an "ultimate form". Keizer itself is an entirely separate creature from King Ghidorah. Two different species, even though similarly related. And Shin Godzilla's Atomic Death scene is a nod to the fire bombings of Tokyo in 1945, which caused more death and destruction at once than both Atomic Bombs.

@@funkylilguy kong is not a gigantopithecus there is no incarnation that is a gigantopithecus each incarnation is their own species of ape. If you are referring to the 2005 kong that kong is a descendent of the gigantopithecus that happens to look more and act more like a gorilla. If kong was real he would be a gorilla since that's the ape he has more in common with not a gigantopithecus. If godzilla was real he would be either a tyrannosaur or a spinosaur or a crocodilian or a megalania or komodo dragon

Gigantopithecus is huge, like kong. In other hand with godzilla, he wouldn't exist.... The original godzilla is a hybrid of a tyrannosaurus and a stegosaur, and a crocodilian for godzilla? Not so close buddy. Where'd he got that dorsal plates if he's a crocodilian?. Megalania isn't a good option too. Godzilla walks, he does not crawl Tyrannosaurus is not a good answer too. Tyrannosaurus rexes do not stand like godzilla does. Same goes for the spinosaurus.
