Somewhere on the list should be when the Defiant and IKS Rotarran join the Federation fleet after abandoning Deep Space Nine. Oh yes, absolutely. Even though it was the first Star Trek movie I ever saw at 7 years old, and I had seen it literally hundreds of times since,... seeing it during a screening at the STLV convention last year, the moment still had tears running down my face. Easily the greatest moment, and the only appearance of Mr. Michael Okuda's first ever production work.

Stealing the Enterprise, Star Trek III, and when they backed through the space doors will aways be my # 1 reveal.

Agree, the arrival of the Enterprise to the spacedock with damages from the Battle of Mutara is superb

Pegasus saving Galactica would have been my number two spot, only beaten for the top spot by the Adama Manoeuvre over New Caprica. Not just for the visual spectacle of 6 million tons of battlestar burning through the atmosphere, spewing Vipers as she plummeted towards the ground, but for the emotianal, air punching payoff too after cliffhanging us at the end of Season 2 and giving us months suspense between seasons and then weeks of build up, wondering how the hell Adama was going to pull off the rescue. But hey, this isn't my list

I'd like to add when Galactica first found Pegasus, the exchange with Adama and Admiral Caine (Michelle Forbes) was pretty special. The tension suddenly relieved when we find out we're all one big happy fleet. Thank you too for the 1701-D in second, best thing I'd seen in years when she came back.

Where's Spaceball 1? List isn't complete without Spaceball 1.

Sadly, missing one of the greatest arrival's in movie history: The arrival of the Millennium Falcon during the trench run on the original Death Star.

BSG - I've always been amazed that a space battle between enormous vessels is a tiny speck in the vastness of interstellar space

It's from a video game, but still: Halo 4 Spartan Ops the reveal of the USNC Infinity. In a franchise where the Earth ships were always outsized and outgunned, we're for introduced to a walk thru showing just how massive the ship is. Not only is the ship filled with fighters and transports, it serves as a Spartan base with training facilities, tanks and artillery and the coolest AI in the franchise. Then when its time to show what the ship can do it exits hyper space by running through a Covenant Super carrier and then launches a squadron of frigates.

I like the reveal (To Captain Kirk, anyway) of the refit Enterprise (non-A) from ST:TMP as Scotty takes him over to the space dry dock in the shuttle pod. The visual reveal, along with the music, was absolutely breathtaking. 💙 Also, same movie, the reveal of V’Ger fighting the Klingons.

I would suggest the reveal of the _Executor_ from "Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Back" for another video 😀👍.

My favorite here is #8. It was so exciting to see this for the first time in the theatre.

The Roci coming to the rescue of the Razorback. Also a hell of a battle scene.

Dude Enterprise D with ventral cannon in all good thing Star Trek Next Generation

Couldn't agree more with #1. That scene of Pegasus coming to the rescue with guns blazing and war drums pounding STILL gives me chills even when it plays in my head.

Major miss. When the Rocinante saves the refugee ship in the Expanse.

As an opening scene, it is epic, but as a ship reveal, although great, it is not the greatest in my opinion. Also, even though it is near the bottom of this list, it is still close to the top overall, as I have another 20+ arrivals in the drafts of parts 2 and 3. The way I do these videos, making 8th in part 1 is a greater honor than 2nd in part 3 (usually).

Couldn’t agree more with #1. One of my favorite moments of television, let along sci-fi ship reveals. 👍

I think the reveal of the SSV Normandy SR2 would've been a great addition either in honorable mentions or in the full list.

I enjoyed every second of this little bit of Star ships. Thank you!

I feel like the first sighting of the USG Ishimura in Dead Space deserves a spot. Or say when the Lewis and Clark first encounters the Event Horizon... There's a host of great ship arrivals/reveals just in Space Battleship Yamato's remake alone. Definitely recommend checking that one out.

Totally agree with no1. For honorable mention, I will propose Search for Sock - 1701 comes to Genesis, but not the ship entering, yet the smile on Marcus face when hearing from Klingon communicator - Grissom, this is Enterprise calling, please come in.

ID4 is a big old bucket of cheese and i love it, its also got one of the best ship reveals of all time. BSG took things to another level with Adama's atmospheric drop and fighter deployment (yeah i know theyre called vipers so stop pounding the keyboard mr or mrs "actually ")

Reveal of the refit Enterprise in Star Trek the Motion Picture...but I guess that would fill the entire video! Or the arrival of the Enterprise at the end of the first season of Star Trek Discovery

The arrival of the Enterprise to help Spock against the Narada (Star Trek 2009). Spock facing a hail of fire, the Enterprise warps in with phasers blasting!

I guess it would depend on why you or anyone thought a ship arriving was special. Any ship arriving to aid in battle would be special especially unexpected. I never thought to do a similar list but I think I would include reveals that had other impact than rescues. Some would be:: The Enterprise C from Yesterday's Enterprise. The three cloaked Klingon ships to defend the Enterprise in The Defector episode The first view of the ship coming over Devil's Monument in CE#K Seeing the USS Defiant in the Asteroid in Enterprise mirror universe The arrival of the ship in the original The Day The Earth Stood Still The shuttle approaching and docking at the space station in 2001 more to come...

The Enterprise showing up in a pre-warp civilization in ST: Strange New Worlds was good too

My personal favorite will always be Atlantis rising from the ocean, because nothing can beat that.

My takeaway from this is that "Skywalker Films" has only ever seen one Star Wars film, never watched B5, or Lexx. None of these would even make it into my top 50. Probably my all-time favorite 'reveal' is the Klingon BoP de-cloaking in front of the Whaling vessel...the buildup was intence, the 'flash' ("donk") makes me smile every time, then the 'reveal' sends the hairs on my arms and neck into immediate 'attention'...

"V" may be a bit lost on modern audiences, but the arrival of the first Mother Ship while Donovan was in the war zone was pretty epic for the time.

So I would suggest 2. The Adama maneuvre, and the scene from Spaceballs that parodies the scene you included here

With all the stargate clips in here, I'm surprised there's no mention of Thor's Chariot.

I feel i have to mention the UNCF Andromeda's entrance in Space Battleship Yamato 2202 because that was probably one of the most destructive entrances of a ship in sci-fi history, i say probably because as far as what i have watched it is the most destructive but i haven't watched many things of the type so who knows what i have missed there. You could also have Yamatos reveal in 2202 and her reveal in 2199.

Best starship entry will lead be the USNS Infinite from Halo being introduced, coming out of hyperspace, cutting a Covenant Super carrier in half, and dropping figures out like fighters.

Not a clue how or why that undefined black shape called Vengeance ranks higher than the Titan's first visual canon appearance, but okay. Also, shame on you for cutting off the Pakled's "Oh, no! It's another Enterprise!"

One reason the Vengeance ranked higher than the Titan is the style of Lower Decks (particularly the people). If I liked the style more, the Titan would have ranked above the Vengeance.

@@Azzameen99AZ i think it's more of a writer's technique. The only foreshadowing they have, a miniature. Make the movie more connected. The real question is, how come those torps are still functional (capable of exploding) with a human inside it? Does a torpedo have so much redundancy? Because if so, they could be made a lot smaller, and starships could carry more.

They named Atlantis twice and none older than 1990s which several of these are rebooted from older shows and movies from the 1960s & 1970s.

Don't know if this qualifies as a reveal but first episode of Robotech "Boobytrap" when the SDF1 first fires on the Zentraedi ships.

I prefer the reveal of the Macross from the movie "Do You Remember Love". While the original Macross had better colors, the Megaroad variant just looked better, especially with the ARMD's for arms, rather than the Prometheus and Daedalus. More symmetrical. And more canonical if you include Macross Plus

@@BigKnGa My favorite aspect of the Battle of the Binary Stars is, for the first time in ages, Starships were treated like STARSHIPS, not fightercraft. A long-ass battle, with weapons fire impacting shields, and after a sustained engagement only two starships were lost and five birds of prey. Unlike DS9 where ships blow up in single shots (my only real complaint about that particular show)

Ok, obviously whoever made that list just hasn't watched Babylon 5. And the reveal of the Executor in Empire Strikes Back, hello!

I think many (far too many) don't think of the NTI city as a spaceship. Even though it obviously HAS to be. Though I wish we got more screentime exploring Deep Core 2

Also, an honorable mention could be the reveal of the Enterprise in Star Trek Discovery... how they dropped clues about which starship was joining the Discovery, until the final full view of the Enterprise and the awe of everyone, including the audience, and the Alexander Courage fanfare to complete the scene.
