I love the Owl House, I love the comedy, the animation, the characters, the world, the magic, but I think my favorite is the rep. WOC, lots of diverse women characters, LGBT+, and a budding WlW teen romance. It just makes me so happy.

They can go drink all the protein in an egg and leave behind the yolk for all I care and I just want to see baby amity grow through the season whether or not lumity is fully expressed in s2 does not leave Me with too much dread, it's just slightly crippling but I seriously need some mit- amity fighting against the exuberant amount of control she has been put under and growing from the experience to be able to stand tall next to all the others (who also need to grow stronger) without too much fear.

Good news, they do, and they are adorable together.

The Owl House is so cute, and pure, and fabulously written. The world feels realistic and lived in, and the characters all feel like genuine people.

The Owl House is the coolest and awesome series animation of Disney the characters are cool and funny,the adventures are incredible and cool and the magic is very pretty and awesome

Sadly, I think this awesome show will soon be banned in my country if the LGBTQ scenes become more obvious.

Luz is definitely my favorite part of the series, thought to be fair she only shines through so well because of other characters like Eda, Amity, King etc. She's both a representation and deconstruction, of the typical fantasy protagonist. She is sweet, optimistic, and outcast who finds her place in a world of magic. But she also get's called on her recklessness, and that she sometime forgets that life, even that in the Bowling Isles does not necessarily conform to typical fantasy tropes. But while she matures, she never looses her core character traits that make her so great.

Basically Everything is my favorite part of the show. Edit: As a fan of the show, I can confirm all this and I totally recommend it

AND NOW WE HAVE RAINE WHISPERS, DISNEY'S FIRST NON-BINARY CHARACTER AND THEY ARE AMAZING

I like to think of it as Disney's answer to Little Witch Academia. In fact, I can see similar parallels between Luz and Amity and Akko and Diana (even if the latter two were never officially confirmed to be romantically involved with each other).

Watching the Owl House not only makes me believe in magic, but also helps me feel more relatable to the characters (like Luz and Amity) and gives me some inspiration and ideas for my animated project called "The Sweet Spirited Scoutz". I really can't wait for season 2!🌙🔮

Not gonna lie: other than The Dragon Prince, this is the only show I'm currently watching with a passionated interest: My Little Pony, Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Tangled, She-ra and Kipo have all ended (with Ducktales gonna follow REALLY soon) and Miraculous turned out to be a massive waste of time. There are a few more shows I'm watching (Amphibia and RWBY) but I'm not as passionated for them. As of now, when it comes to television serieses, I'm putting all of my faith in this one (and The Dragon Prince... when it resumes). I really hope it manages to stay great until the end... don't let me down Dana!

I'm watching this now and look back to how innocent the show was. It was really innocent, Luz literally just wanted to learn magic and/or escape the human realm so that she can be herself, season 2, it dropped that, and she's actually traumatized, scarred, and fighting for her and her loved one's lives

I love The Owl House for how creepy and weird it can get sometimes and I also just love how story driven it is which makes the show even better also I just wanted to ask if anyone recalls the scene in episode 13 The first day when puddles the griffin got his arm cut by the inspector/lizard thing because in that same scene you can see a blood mist coming out of puddles’s arm after he gets scratched which I thought was really cool that they had that in there because it’s a kids show and you don’t commonly see blood in Disney cartoons that often but it happened and I haven’t found any videos or sources talking about it so I was starting to wonder if anyone even noticed it

I love it when a cartoon sorta aimed at kids pushes the boundaries of what is aloud to be shown to children. That’s what probably gets me excited when I think about The Owl House because it’s a horror/comedy it can probably get away with a lot more than other cartoons can and also Dana even said that The Owl House season 2 will be darker in tone and she’s gonna be able to do a lot more of what was in her original plan for the show

My favourite thing about The Owl House is that the show was literally one of the only good things about 2020

Just found this show a little late. I started watching it after having watched all of Gravity Falls and needing something to fill the hole in my life. This fits the bill. Luz is a type of character I've always longed to see but have found far too rarely: the Girl Nerd. My inner twelve-year-old feels seen every time she gushes over the Azura book series. It's also a delight to hear Alex Hirsch's voicework again. I love that he gives Hooty essentially the same voice he gave Celestebellabethabelle in "The Last Mabelcorn" (Gravity Falls).

My favorite thing about the owl house? The perfrct balance of whimsical fantasy world with morbid elements that creates a wonderfully comedic show. And as a weird nerd growing up, this is a show I could've used when I was a kid.

I showed season 1 to my nephew and niece and they adored it from the start! Amity is their favorite character like me.

I love how likeable the characters are! Luz, Eda, King, even Amity! They're all so likeable and I love how Luz fits into the world with Gus and Willow

Fun Fact: Luz Is Portuguese For Light, So If You Think About It, The Events Of "The Intruder" Where Foreshadowed WAY Before "Witches Before Wizards" Where The Title Sequence (And Coincidentally Luz's Light Ball) Debuted

Here are three teeny, tiny microscopic issues I had with the series over the course of the first season. 1. At the start, Eda's character was rather off-putting; barely making any effort to "teach" Luz, focusing more on her own hangups and thus, try and rub them off on her newfound apprentice and to top it off, her whole "tough love" method just felt wrong. Her behavior in Once Upon A Swap is an example of the third thing I've just listed. Looking back on the episode, I feel it would've worked better if Eda switched with Luz and Luz switched with King. 2. While I now understand her reasons for coming off so cold in her early episodes. It doesn't fully excuse Amity for trying to force Luz into saying she's not a witch and calling her a bully. Technically speaking, all the "wrongdoings" Luz committed against her were simple misdemeanors; which aren't really worth getting hung-up over. 3. I dislike how, according to some reviewers, the second episode Witches Before Wizards (in THEIR words) "destroys fandoms." I love this show but its tendency to say "this is how things are, deal with it" comes off as off-putting as Eda's character often does. An example I can give of this is how the show tells Luz that the Isles isn't like the fantasy worlds in her books. While this may be true; at the same time, not ALL fantasy is dark and disgusting. Pan's Labyrinth is a sort of "dark fantasy" movie but by the end of it, the mythical world becomes a glorious place; much like in the books Olivia/Princess Moana reads. Other great fantasy media that offers new takes on the genre but STILL hold true to the whimsy are things like Winx Club, W.I.T.C.H., Fantasy High (a D&D campaign created by CollegeHumor) and even Disney's Onward (a film that I actually found great.) I DO, however love the tongue-in-cheek jokes directed at Harry Potter (such as the Choosey Hat)

It’s very creative, strange, weird, well acted even brilliant characters, magically thrills also it’s heartwarming. Also it has the 🏳️‍🌈 lgbtq+ romance with those of my favorite characters: Luz Noceda and Amity Blight. So sad it ends but I hope Disney should continue the franchise before many of us getting upset for not seeing another season. This series rocks!

You know, I honestly didn't notice most of the cast were female until it was said. I enjoyed the characters, episodes, setting, and such so much that it didn't even compute with me.

YES I love the ow house! I love that they have lgbtq representation with Luz being bi and amity being lesbian! I absolutely just love this series and everything about it from the plot to the characters and details! :D

My favourite thing about the show has to be ALL of the Harry Potter References. They're dark and funny at the same time

also Willow has 2 dads and even tho you only see them in like 2 photos i love them more than i love myself also they're a biracial (black/korean) couple so like yay double representation!!

I'm a little late for the party, but I just started watching the Owl House. Season 1 is definitely a slow burn but I'm enjoying the hell out of it!

Mystery and the love concept is too good in the owl hours series i love it

I love the characters which I can relate to Luz due to her personality & Amity due to gay panic moments, a message about being your weird and yet creative self, the voice acting, and its LGBTQ+ representation.

Everyone describes the Owl House as "horror", and while it has some awesomely horrific imagery I see it more as a dark fantasy.

I really love the charecthers and setting personally. I also enjoy the stories and lessons the show teaches. Doesn't hurt the animation is really great.
