I know you're probably just being sarcastic, but rebuilding a bike like the klr doesn't make you a good mechanic, those bikes could be rebuilt by a toddler if it could keep it's nuts and bolts together. Have you seen him rebuild his f800gs? No, because that thing is a lot more complicated.

Ryan, I’ve been watching your channel for at least 3/4 of a year. Actually closer to a year. I don’t own a motorcycle, nor do I want to, but you’ve come pretty close to convincing me to. I’ve learned so much about bikes, most of which I’ll never even know. But you have such a great personality and I love the format of these videos, that I love watching them. Not for the motorcycle content, but more of the host and his personality and the way he portrays his content. You’re really awesome man. I love it and I hope to watch more bike vids of which I’ll never use but I’ll still love

awesome! thanks Ryan. I would really like to see an in depth video about suspensions, and how to set them properly. If I adjust the rear should I also correct the front? Does the rebound go along with the damping setting (same number of turns?)? do I need to count the turns and keep track of those when I adjust the suspension or is there a more reliable way?

If you're doing serious off-road try to get a skid plate that comes up and around to protect the engine cases, effectively functioning as lower crash guards as well. Systems with an independent skid plate + lower crash guards often leave gaps where jagged rocks can get through and wreck your side cases.

I have found that for a dual sport in the 250 range a dirt tire on the back and the original tire on the front works well. I don't know if I would want a dirt tire on the front if I was still doing a fair amount of street driving. You don't want the front tire breaking loose on asphalt when breaking or steering, but the back tire doesn't do a lot besides deliver power which for a 250 a knobby can handle, although it will wear out quicker.

Hey, i know the title says off-road specificly, but i did not find any videos from you talking about on-road protection much. Basicly, im riding a supermoto and trying to cheap out of buying a "stunt bike"- cheap and made for crashing. Im trying to mod the current one (KTM 690 SM) to take a few hits before going down. Hand guards and axle sliders im sure are useful and i have no doubd about getting them, my question is mainly about protecting the exhaust. Are frame sliders, or ones welded on my tail frame piece a bad idea for protection against wheelie crashes and occasions when im dumb and cant take a fast turn and slide out, or are they great for protecting my rear fender and hell of a pricy LeoVince double exhaust?

HEY! Thanks for this Great video, and all of these suggestions! Could you, PLEASE, consider doing a video, or more, on "DASHCAMERAS"/DASHCAMS" for use on Motorcycles, .....and, on "Helmet/transponder-radio Communications systems"

Hello FortNine Just want to know if we can swap a 3 row Oil cooler with that of a Computer CPU radiator, Since the computer radiator comes with mountable fans. The bike that I'm talking about is Hero Honda Karizma ZMR, which is based of the Honda CRF 230L motor. It is sold in India and some western countries. So please let me know if that can be done. Regards, Abhilash

As I personally have spent an entire summer...and fall in Kuwait and indeed am Canadian, I can attest that would be freaking hot!

Crazy, i would never have expected that aluminum bars would be a better spring than steel on the bars. But holy crap this dude seems credible.

I admit it's been a long time since I took material science and always though of steel as being heavier and more elastic than aluminum and that is why they make spring from steel. Please clarify or enlighten us.

As a new Motorcyclist, would you recommend me getting a "Engine Guard" for my 1984 Suzuki GSX 400e? Or should the engine be fine if i drop it while standing still or while riding it?

Another relatively inexpensive mod is to change to a different weight or grade of fork oil. There are several KZread videos discussing fork oil weights and how to change the oil.
