Top Underpriced Motorcycle Gear
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
We often overpay for gear that don't really seem to fit the suggested high price. Finding good motorcycle gear at a reasonable price can be hard. We always assume that a higher price means higher quality. That is not always the case. RyanF9 found a few items that are top quality and that are also underpriced.

I looked for gloves for 4 months. For price point, you can't beat these. I got them for 38 bucks at my bike shop in Vancouver. The perforated version are well ventilated and suited for summer riding, but will do for the early part of the shoulder season. The leather is quite thin which is great for flex and comfort, however not the best for abrasion resistance. Also easy to donne and off. For 38+hst, you can't go wrong. Great glove.
Hands down, one of the best motorcycle reviewers on KZread. To the point yet entertaining. The product research you put into your videos is excellent. Keep them coming.
Best reviewer around, top notch quality and great personality. Glad I found you. Keep it up!
Also, your channel is one of the most underrated channels on YT!

Man, your videos are so professionally done and your reviews feel sincere and honest. I don't even have a motorcycle yet but thank you for all the work you do :)
I like how you always get right to the point, never biased, and focus on all the important details. Still can't believe this is a one man production (at least I guess it is). I wonder if you would like to make like a beginner's guide to most basic/important adv motorcycle gear? (not gear as in clothes, but as gear for the bike) -Keep up the great work RyanF9

hcmpe yang3 Fortnine is based in Canada and the prices given are in Canadian dollars. Yes, the Nolan is made in Italy, that is why it's so much more expensive. As a life-long rider since the 1970s, I've owned many helmets, including Nolan (but not the N44) and my current LS2. In my experience, I would say the price difference between these two isn't justified. LS2 helmets are surprisingly well-made and don't fit the stereotype of cheap Chinese helmets. Quality-wise, they are on par with other medium range helmets, but cost a lot less.

Thanks so much for these videos! As someone who has no motorcycle knowledge and is trying to eventually get one, these vids are super helpful and not overwhelming as others tend to be.
I've been watching FN for a few years and you're getting better, much better. SUBSCRIBED
I'm a sport bike rider so this vid isn't really for me, but I gotta compliment you on how well this video is put together both aesthetically and dialog wise. thanks for the video
I don't know why this channel hasn't got 3 million subs already, It's by far the most professional and informative motorcycle channel on KZread, Keep up the stella work FortNine.
Good job, I appreciate the fact that you put a lot of effort to make your videos as good as it can be
Always appreciate the info and production quality.
Been binge watching your channel. Good stuff. Keep it up
Got this channel as a suggestion for like a month ago. And i gotta say that i regret i didn't hook sooner! One of the best iv'e seen 👍🏼 Great tips and really good quality, subscribed!
No doubt about it Ryan FortNine you are the King of motovloggers! Always interesting, knowledgeable and professional. Love the comment re carrying small children - hilarious! Keep up the good work.
Awesome job on the video. it was extremely helpful and i hope to be able one or two of those items soon
I like how you get straight to the topic love the vids you totally deserve more subs
I'm starting to brown-nose a bit tonight because this is the second praise filled comment I'll of left this evening haha, another fantastic video and another one to add to my favourites, I'll definately be coming back to this at some point with it in mind to purchase a couple of these great looking and well reviewed products!
ok, you won me over with the gloves, magnet traffic light trick and great attitude, subscribed =)
I work at a motorcycle performance shop, I cannot recommend the sport Shinko tires. They are an extremely hard compound which means they are great for burnouts and drifting if you're into that sort of thing, but not so good for grip and over-all performance. Sure they're cheap, if you have no other option, they are obviously better than nothing, but I'd recommend better. The dual-sport tires might be great, as you really can't go wrong with the compound for those, I'd just stay away from the sport tires.
The best review-type channel on KZread, hands down
i love your lists! keep it up.
I have an LS2 fullface helmet and its value-for-money is off the roof!! Great channel btw!
Ryan, it’s no wonder why you’re a success. Keep up the good work.
While riding my KLR650 on Old Ore Road in Big Bend National Park (mostly broken rock), the Shinko big block did not inspire much confidence, but inspired plenty of terror. Great everywhere else though, except sand. No sand. I really enjoy your work - thanks.
love your videos son, very helpful even for old school riders like myself
Great vid. Thank you. I don't mind watching the ads with videos like this.
Your reviews and presentation style rock!
wish u all the success bud, really helpful videos..!
Awesome stuff, thanks for the video.
Nicely done, professional n easy to listen to - good info too.
Nice list dude you introduce good gear keep it up
FortNine and Revzilla are easily the best channels to turn to for motorcycle gear. The reviews are so in depth and helpful. FN seriously deserves more subscribers, all of these videos are top notch, second only MAYBE to Revzilla, and even then only by a hair.

Really good bro. Thanks. I am getting the tires and the gloves thanks to you.
Affordable gear! Thank you 👍 great job again 👌
Loved the review. You should also review the Airoh Storm. At around 150 euros it's a great buy, and it has a great system for closing the visor to keep the water out in rainy days. Really confortable also.
Awesome videos man! Keep it up!
Keep it up, love your videos
Subbed. Your voice is like velvet and the information is great.
Enjoyed how you showed shinko some love.#keepumcoming
That's awesome, congratulations! I work at a motorcycle dealer for Honda and Suzuki in the parts department and I hope to start doing what your doing.
That video was so excellently produced
Thanks, your work is excellent.
More of these please!!
Much like your under rated channel man.. filming.. content.. value of the content.. wonderful
i love your video and as i am in UK i can compare the prices. the LS2 OF569 helmet cost 70£ in uk though. which is a big mark of difference to a 130$ I think. i love the gloves too :) thank you for the video. definitely deserved like and view.
omg to funny bro love it !! love the vids man best moto channel ever !!
You are amazing.. I like your presentation skills.. best ever. And thanks for these reviews.
Nice video as usual, thanks and ride safe
Damn! your videos look well produced af!
Informative and funny, love it
This is a hell of a video. I was considering the bell bullet but not no more.
Great video. Your resemblance to the “back pack kid” is uncanny
Your videos are amazing man.
Subscribed 100%!!!! Great video!
since that helmet is discontinued is there a successor to it?
I love your videos man! You're awesome. A lil question about LS2 helmet. In another video you said that it's better not to buy thermoplastic helmets, and LS2's shell is made exactly of thermoplastic. That's confusing...
really like that LS2 because of the modularity and wide field of view.

awesome job need more of these videos
I have watched many of your videos-You are very knowledgeable and the vids are well put together-even funny! Curious-do you get paid for your reviews/endorsements? The gloves...I looked on Revzilla they are now around like $29 dollars US. The reviews were not that great-I may still give them a try-Thanks....
Hey Ryan your video got so fuckin good since the beginning of CM man!! Thumbs up i just watched 20 in a row :-)
LOL... ears always gets in the way on most of his videos. but, love all your videos
i really like your fast intros!
Thanks for sharing.. love your channel.
The LS2 OF569 Scape is discontinued! Whyy!? ): I'm looking for a helmet that has a removable chin bar around the same price point and quality, any suggestions?
Thanks.for all the great reviews. I would like to maybe argue your tire choice though and propose the Mitas z07 vs k60...?
Really nice vid again ... would be really cool if you would do a vid at a point about best choices for big heads like mine (scorpion exo-r420 4xl)
Really well-done video.
I can’t find the LS2 helmet. Everywhere I look it says discontinued
One thing to mention with that Shinko Tire, If you do worry about the fishtailing you can always razor the tire, it used to be popular back in the 70s, all people would do is buy a tire, if it fish tails or they want more grip, they use a razor or something like an exacto knife to cut small pieces out of the Tread to fix the problem.
I know this is a pretty old video, but when I look at the LS2 helmet shown here online, there doesn't seem to be an option for the snap on chin bar. Is it an aftermarket accessory or is it not available anymore?
This was an awesome video, because not everyone has thousands f dollars to go spend on gear, and these seem some good quality for their price tag.

heebo heebo in my experience it doesn't matter how much you spent on your gear when your smashing through someone's Windscreen at 80mph. save the money and buy some thing you like, least then your Happy when you repaint someone's grill. 👍

Connor Bowen I think there are many different kinds of accidents and usually the higher quality (usually more expensive) gear protects you better.
I’ve been using LS2 helmets and overall I feel they are outstanding value and fit.
Liked before I even watch the video. Cause you just make quilty vidoes all the time
Good assessment of that stuff, two questions; What's your go to cheap mesh (or mid-price) jacket, and what do you think of palm sliders on gloves? I love my Knox Orsas ($85!) but wonder if it's just Kool-Aid...
I've been running Shinkos for a while now on everything I can. Great tires. For a medium to smaller bike like a Ninja 650 you can literally get TWO tires for around $120 or even less if you're on something small like a Ninja 250/300. I even ran the Ravens on my GSX-R 750 fantastic mileage and more than enough grip for me on the street.
Hey I'm from Nepal and Kathmandu is the name of my town !! Great video.🖒
Dude I love your reviews and they way you talk like Patrick Bateman, without it being annoying.
hey Ryan im not a rider but i love seeing your videovlogs and i just ger inspired to learn more about motor bikes my dad recently bought a 2006 kawasaky ninja and will soon leave it to me and i want to know what gear i could get that is both cost effective and great to use
a cargo pouch to carry small children
Can't find that helmet for sale anywhere, need an update to this video 👍🏽

What happened to the LS2 OF569 Scape helmet. Why was it discontinued? :(
Can you please do this on the daily?! This was amazing!
love your videos
great review ... cheers
have you ever tried out the A.R.C. battle born gear, i watched a few review on it one involved a pressure washer, seems like it is pretty impressive for $149 jacket and $99 pants shipped, appears to have all the bells and whistles, looks like a pretty impressive product was curious if you had tried it. glad I found your channel
