I love these pollinating plants in my garden... functionality and beauty!

Great info Maureen. My fav pollinator is balsams. They reseed themselves every year & you can eat those seeds & the leaves. 2nd place-marigolds.

Ohhh that’s excellent to know. I had a balsam, but we had a weird cold snap in the spring and she just could cope with the weathers mixed signals. Sadly o didn’t start another one.

Great video packed with lots of good information 🥰 I love all the things you mentioned but would add chives. They deter deer, rabbits, unwanted pests and attract all the beneficial pollinators.

wow! from seed??!!! good for you. I've always have bought little starts. ya, there were lots of speaking faux pas.... only one of my daughters caught the double duty.... I didn't even notice that one. thank you for watching.... I really appreciate it!

I love this video!! I wanted more plants, now I know which ones I want😂 In my garden I have Sun flowers, borage, alyssum and marigold, zinnia and some nasturtium that is still so tiny! And in my new flower bed, I have calendula, hollyhock, some of the others and bee balm. As I understand, it's in the mint family😂

Ohhh bee balm is an EXCELLENT one!!! It won’t spread like mint… so Jason need not worry. Sounds like you’ve got some AMAZING pollinator plants! It must be beautiful!

Oh, I hope you break the cycle of the sunflower, I have not had any large ones. Just small. The large ones the darn rats eat after I uncover the sprouts. :/

I cannot grow flowers on purpose. I just toss seeds in all my buckets of mixed flowers. My fave is nasturtiums because they are pretty AND tasty!
