Barney not being able to take a bad photo and the telepathic conversations were really good too.

The pineapple in Ted's room and how it got there, was explained. Just not till the final season. It was from The Captains house. He puts out a pineapple outside his front door around Halloween. Ted snatches it while he's blackout drunk. Super Fan here 👍.

The Pineapple Incident (S01E10) episode wasn't a Halloween episode, though, the Halloween episode for season 1 was S01E06 (the one where Ted is waiting for the slutty pumpkin). The pineapple was explained in a season 9 episode, but the scene with the explanation was cut. You can find it in the bonus material on the DVD box. The captain basically claims that it is an old seaman's tradition to put out a pineapple as a sign of hospitality, so he has one in front of his mansion and one in front of his townhouse in the city. After Ted got totally drunk he stole the pineapple from the townhouse, without knowing who the owner was.

Yeah actually it's in a deleted SEASON 8 clip so not the last season and he left it outside his New York apartment building which just so happened to be the same one as Ted and Marshall's

He left it outside as an old sailors tradition. They hadn't met at that point yet. The Captain is weird enough to leave a pineapple out and Ted was drunk enough to snatch it up. Lol

Watched HIMYM before Friends. Later rewatching that Swarley episode, i had a theory that the "this would never happen at a bar!" line was a cheeky dig at Friends being centred on Central Perk. Also, Swarlize Theron. lol

The Swarley episode is my favorite of the series not only for what you said but also Marshall and Lily getting back together and the references to friends at the start of the episode and cheers at the end. Really topped off the episode with that final scene

I rewatch this show every year at Christmas and never gonna stop

I love the “where’s the poop robin” it makes me laugh every time

It's not a running gag but Ted's version of the older man Robin's dating in the thanksgiving episode is always good for a laugh.

Oh god there are a lot of hilarious episodes in this show I can't even begin to write about but I say you did a great job making this top ten list🌼BTW If had to pick some episodes as my favorites Blitz,the naked man,slap bets,interventions,the plot,the pineapple,Marshal & lily's wedding day,all the flashbacks,Doppelgangers,The ducky tie,and the PlayBook would be my choice,There a lot more but those were the ones I could remember without thinking😀

For those who don't know the pineapple was answered in a cut scene from the last season when the gang goes to the captains when they find out Lilly is pregnant. the pineapple was a connection to the captain seasons prior to his involvement. an old sailors tale is that a pineapple outside your home brings luck and protection while the sailors are at sea. he has a pineapple outside his home in Manhattan and his summer home upstate.

Lily as the limping hunchback was one of the funniest scenes.

Fun fact;In a deleted. Scene the pineapple got a reason it was a decoration that the captain would put outside. His porch for hospitality. He had one on his vacay house in new york

There is a delete scene in which Ted remembers why he had the pineapple, He was at the captain's house after finding Lilys pregnancy test and there was a pineapple on the door and it turns out it's an old captain's tradition, So ted took it from the captain's town house when he was drunk but didn't remember until the captain told him about it.

the slap bet number one, robin sparkles was so iconic so 2, swarley 10 and dont forget the playbook, bro code, or PATRICE but most importantly wait for it, marshall and lily named a child after it should at least get top 10!!!!!!!
