Years ago I got the chance to visit a friend who was studying abroad in Dublin. During my visit I took the train out to Bray and it was beyond gorgeous! I made it to the top of Bray Head right around sunset, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. I absolutely recommend it!!
The Cliffs of Moher would be less stressful when done from Galway. A colleague of mine once did a bus tour from Dublin, it took them 6 hours on the bis to get there, 2 hours at the cliffs and 6 hours back, she was knackered after that. Howth is defo a must visit, especially the cliff walk and from one of the piers there used to be boat tours offered around Ireland's eye, which was also very worth doing (or do a Dublin Bay cruise). Thanks for givin me some more inspiration for day trips, have me dad visitin end of June and we're gonna stay put here in Dublin, so I am still contemplating on what things we can visit then from Dublin that isn't too long of a trip or too tiring
Thanks for all the tips! I loved Ireland when I visited, would love to come back someday. So much more I need to see!

Which one do you wanna go on?
The Blarney stone does not give, 'the gift of the gab', it gives the gift of eloquence'. Check your dictionary and local paraphernalia. Otherwise excellent video, thanks for featuring Bray and Sugarloaf, I'm originally from Bray and Sugarloaf was the view from my bedroom. I live in Cornwall now and its as near to Wicklow (views etc) as you will get in UK.
Thanks!

Awww this is such a sweet comment 💛 I took a little break from KZread to work on some blog posts. Hoping to get back to weekly uploads now 😊
Hello 😊
Great video, Laura! What do you suggest for a half day trip from Dublin (we’re only there on a layover for one night, unfortunately)? Specifically, we’d like to see a bit of the countryside that Ireland is so famous for, even if it’s to take a ride on a public bus to somewhere and back - where we’d see more of the countryside and less of the motorway. Only have the afternoon and early evening. Any suggestions?

Hmmm there isn't much countryside left in Dublin unfortunately. You could go to the hellfire club in the Dublin Mountains although you would need to get a taxi as there is no public transport.

Or...if you don't mind the seaside you could visit Howth or Bray. They both have lovely cliff walks with beautiful views. It is possible to visit both places via the DART (our coastal train service) from the city center

Causeway visit requires any visa ? is that part of UK ? . I heard few counties requires visa.

To be honest I am not entirely sure how it is working now with brexit. There is no hard boarder however if you do not have a visa to enter the UK you should not be there. I am not sure if you go via tour operator it is different? Perhaps you could message the tours and ask how it works. Sorry I couldn’t be more help
