"Don't pack for the season" ... so pack like you're going to some place in America.
Sounds like parts of Australia. In other words don’t be a dick and you will be fine.
We are planning a 7 day trip ending in Dublin...we're thinking of staying in Kinsale 3 nights so explore Cork, Cobh, Mizen Head, etc.... then 2 nights in Dingle to explore Killarney Nat Park and Dingle. I keep hearing Dingle is very crowded and touristy do you suggest staying in Killarney and taking a day trip to Dingle? Really wanted to stay off the beaten path but finding it may be easier to stay in a centrally located more popular place and explore the off the path places. Any suggestions would be great!! I just started following you and I think I watched every video already, you are really helping us get prepared for our first time in Ireland!
Can you recommend 2 go to camera lenses?? I don't want to pack too many lenses for my camera and I'm hoping to get away with 2 that will be great for all of the sights
In other words you should be very kind to the people cause they will be kind to you ..FACT..people are just rufe for even bringing up Irish history..stupid people and most of the time they know nothing about Irish history and they just pissed you off cause they're so freaking ignorant...
I stopped in Dungarvan and asked the fastest way to Cork. Local fella asked if I was walking or driving. Driving, I tell him. Thats the fastest way, he says
The only rule you need to know when going to Ireland from Americay.,..its feckin cold. Their beach weather is jacket weather. Other than that, unless you're the type of American that is loud, obnoxious and rude....just be yourself. Irish folk are great I married one
Super ❤ from Ceylon
What were the name of the streets to visit for pubs in Dublin? Love your videos!
It’s nice but far too expensive and weather is crap.
What a crock. Most of this is universal or just common sense.
That was great. I know I have some Irish heritage because my maiden name was Skelly. I use “sorry” the same way. I am polite in the same manner. If I were thirsty though, I might say “yes” the first time because in the US you might not get asked twice lol I thought you were going to mention “Nessie” along with “Patty” and Leprechaun too.
I also do the swearing and the sarcasm. Sometimes the sarcasm is seen as rude in the southern part of US. But I still do it either way a slight chuckle at the end.
OMG, wooooow, thanks for the video, I will be posting something on this place
This is the best and most genuine depiction of Ireland Ive ever heard!! I love it and this beautiful island!❤
Thanks!
Thanks!
Don't waste your money. Just don't go there unless you want to end up with depression and regrets. The state of the place and people was one big disappointment.
Boston boy (Italian)here......I grew up hearing this nice girl's accent all the time. The finest people in the world. Thanks for this video.
We have been travelling around that area the last couple of weeks….A truly beautiful area and the colors of the rivers …Wow!
Irish people the best! Too bad they are under siege!
OK, be very polite and curse often. Got it. “Please pass me the @&;#%ing salt!” “Thank you very much, #$”&! all.” “You very f&$@ing welcome!”
heh, live in the states and tried to smile at someone.. His rebuttal: "Are you fucking High?".. Love the states ; ).
American express charges 3 to 4 percent from the shopowners, thus many countries don't prefer American Express
I^m a Norwegian, north-norwegian. And that matters because most of what you says are completly relieable , not in the whole of my country, but from the Coast of North of Norway. From the Weather ri to the bad language, right through to the drinking habits. They are also very friendly and hospitable. Thats why I felt so at Home in Ireland. I`ll be back.
First of all Laura, I could listen to you all day. From Australia, we drive on the left too 👍...whats wrong with the rest of the world ? While I have you, is hiking/ backpacking/ free camping allowed in the countryside ? Beautiful landscape needs to be taken in. Cheers from Oz Neil
Korean culture and Irish culture are very similar
As an irishman who has spent most of his life in foreign parts, i really enjoyed your video, very amusing and expresses the warmth and welcoming nature of the Irish
Thanks Laura and Orla.
Thanks! That was really useful info. It's not the easiest app.
did it last week with Devil Chimmey
I really need to stop watching videos like this. Makes me want to hop on plane and never come back. Love Ireland! ❤️🇮🇪☘️
Great tips, Laura! I really appreciate it. I'm traveling to Ireland (the EU side) for the first time in a few days. Vising a number of castles and manors during my stay. I'm glad I came across your video.
4 seasons in one day? Sounds like where I live in Pennsylvania!
Great video. Thanks for all the awesome tips!
I wish I could go back to where my family came from! 💚
Welcome to Vancouver.
Thank you love the advice
On my trip to Ireland I got the feeling that Irish people are quite outspoken! That may be too much of a generalization.
Thanks for good tips! 👍🇺🇸
Ireland and India are so much similar in many ways
I have only 1 question about Ireland. How tf do I get a Tesco Clubcard as a tourist? I even managed to get the app, that usually isn't available here in Germany, but it seems I need an irish social number.
I want to travel with family by road for 4 days . Can you suggest places to visit near cork .
Id rather hear it from the people than the tour guide.... you can piece information together better form the people than you can sorting out the propoganda of a tour guide. This is the case in nearly all countries.
Oh Noo I only use AE! We have TO FIX THIS!
Very good advice! Thank you much!
Thank you for the valuable information. 🙏🏽🙏🏽💚💚
Thanks, really appreciate this kind of insight.
What of us Canadians.?
Blistering sunshine? At 15 degrees...? 😂
What are your thoughts about Uber or taxi around Ireland instead of renting a car? Specifically around Shannon 😅
