Fantastic job Laura! The drive though Doolough Valley is my favorite drive in the world. You were blessed with the weather! I really enjoyed your video and you opened my eyes to some new places for my next visit to Mayo.

Laura, I must compliment you on this video. You showed the beauty of that part of Ireland with great effect. I have ancestors from various parts of Ireland including Mayo and if I did not already know, I am sure that they did not become part of the Irish diaspora out of choice.

You can’t eat scenery, alas. People still leave Co. Mayo due to a lack of employment opportunities locally (as I did).

Laura....excellent videos!! An area in co.Mayo thats a must see is the coastal road from Louisburgh down into Killadoon. From the road you can see islands such as Clare island and Inishboffin. Beaches liks Cross beach,Carroninsky and Silver strand are beautiful

Achill Island, Keel is my ancestors' home. It really is beautiful.

I love Ireland i was just there june last year we drove from Dublin to cliffs of mohr Got to see sunset from the cliffs, then we drove up to Kinvara and the to westport and up tit Malin head on to Giants causeway the to belfast the back to Dublin via Howth . we did 1400 km following the coast most of the way. i can't wait to go back

Ceide is an Irish word and it’s pronounced Kayja. Other than that nice video. Mayo is a wonderful mystical place. Lower key than other places, which is actually nice.

Iam crazy to cycle and wild Atlantic way hopefully it will happen

@@gallowglass2630There were a few other ones- Berta= Bertraw, Keem=Kim. But the quality of the video made up for it.

No way in the winter.I have relations in Ballina which is great in the summer if you have a good umbrella.

One of the best counties in Ireland, the west coast is so much better than the east coast which is just a tourist rat trap.
