Coming from a Spanish speaker country, this is by far, the best tutorial I've seen... Awesome.
Wow¡ thanks, what I couldn´t understand well about using Toon boom in a whole year...I did in just 2 tutorials. No 10 minutes of silly comments at the beginning, like many others, you go straight to the point, very clear, this is a real tutorial.
of all the Toon Boom tutorials available online, yours is the clearest, you have a great talent in education
THANK YOU!!!! I was encouraged by a friend to puck up harmony to get a job in animation, and this vid shows me all the basics to hit the ground running in a new animation software. new job, here I come!
14:38 you saved me soooo much time, once spent about 2 hours mapping 30 seconds of lip sync lol
Even almost 3 years later, your videos are the most helpful I have ever encountered! Thanks for so much!
JESSE! MY MAN! I ACTUALLY ADORE YOU!! You're such a good tutor and I cant help but smile whenever I watch one of your videos - keep it up dude!
oh my gosh. you're such a warm and positive sounding person. and by looking at that pikachu I can tell that you are ^o^ love your videos, and I learned about the secret layers! thanks, and keep being a ray of knowledge and positivity :D
Excellent video, Jesse! I really enjoyed it even though I've been working with Harmony for 8 years, I still learned a thing or two from your great tutorial! Just so you know, "save as new version" works if you are working "online" as part of a network. In a commercial animation studio with a number of other artists, we rarely work "offline" and artists are encouraged to save as a new version where all changes are saved just like it's supposed to work. :)
Thank you so much for your help it really made the transition from Adobe Animate to Toon Boom so much easier your awesome thanks again
You're the best at tutorials!! Thank you!! I had so much fun doing the mouth movements, i think i need to add more mouth models for sounds like "N" and a few others but i got so excited when it came together!!!
Your voice is so cute and peaceful ^^

Hell yeah! I clicked on part 2 by accident without even realizing there WAS a part 2. Thanks, chum!
Thank you for this great mini-series! I'd love to see you pick this up again. I assume that "Save as New Version..." actually really saves a new version, but with the same assets as the other one. So, they are sharing their assets. If you now change an asset within one of those projects it will change it for the other project as well. The first I thought of where I should use this function is for alternative endings.
Wow, so many people watched part 1 and NOBODY saw part 2... PART 2 IS WHERE THE FUN STUFF HAPPENS! Probably not seeing it but looking forward to lighting effects / glow effects like lava and whatnot. Great first couple videos from what i've seen so far!

Great tutorial for this amazing tool. Thanks!
i really wanna learn and i seem to love Toon boom, even as a novice i enjoyed the tutorial
I Agree, Your Videos are very well done.
Great Tutorial, thanks!
Still getting used to ToonBoom, but your tutorials are getting me excited to animate in it! (Coming from a Photoshop background) it feels like i'm learning. I did not know about the line art layer, that is awesome! Also didn't know about the stroke tool, ive just been using the pencil tool at size 0. Still find animating in it hard though, I animate on 2's all hand-drawn and it can be bothersome when toon boom auto fills the cells when I map out the keyframes, and then re-positioning or extending frames causes some issues.
Your Voice is so clear

By default overlay/underlay wasn't enabled. Follow these instructions to make them appear. For me they then appeared to the RIGHT (not bottom) of the stage. Select Edit > Preferences ( Windows/Linux ) or Harmony Advanced > Preferences ( macOS ). In the Preferences dialog box, select the Advanced tab. In the Advanced Options section, select the Support Overlay and Underlay Arts option. Click OK.

I have a Question!!! I made my animation but when I export it into a movie it moves to fast and I don't want it to be fast to where it becomes a 1 second film. What should I do to change the speed of my video?
