Very good question 🤔 and I believe you can get a stand separately. I personally don't need one and I saved saved some money. But if interested there are options like this one Metabo HPT Miter Saw Stand, Fold and Roll, Large 8-Inch Rubber Wheels, Heavy-duty Tubular Steel Construction, Universal (UU240R) www.amazon.com/dp/B07NQHBLKH/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_Z11TC5HQ474Q035TVF0X?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

The short answers it’s been good, I’ve used a dado stack and was pleased, I find the surface has some wear, I had a long cutting run with batteries that overheated so I easily used the cord adapter, I wish it had a blade height lock. Other than that I think it works well and I am happy to answer questions. Thanks!
