Battery can also power Hitachi or Metabo HPT 18V slide type tools, including cordless nailers generating an impressive 8.0Ah of run time for increased flexibility and multipurpose use (sold separately). MultiVolt battery charges in 52 minutes using the UC18YSL3M charger (sold separately). Compatible with 36V MultiVolt AC Adapter (sold separately).
36V DC Brushless motor produces 5.000 RPM to power through the toughest ripping applications.
Soft start function reduces noise and recoil at start-up. Electric brake halts the rotation of the blade within seconds for added safety.
10" 40-Tooth carbide tipped blade included for high cutting capacity. Bevel range of 0 degree to 45 degrees for cuts ranging from 3-1/8" (at 0 degree) to 2-1/4" (at 45 degrees). Easy adjustments for blade height or angle, as well as simple fence adjustments to adhere to the cutting material.
Both the bevel scale and bevel height adjustment knobs for the blade are situated on the front of the cabinet for easy access and viewing. Telescoping table extension supports 35" of ripping capacity to the right and 22" to the left.
Equipped with a 3/4" T-slot miter gauge that features a large scale with adjustable positive stops at 0, 15, 30, 45 and 60 degrees to the left and right to help guide material accurately for a truer cut.
On-tool accessory storage allows for easy access to needed items and convenient storage while not in use. 8 x 13/16" Dado capacity allows for simple dado cuts. Riving knife ensures cutting material does not bind and/or kick-back during operation.
Oversize power switch with emergency off safety cover is designed at knee level for immediate shut down as an added safety feature. Overload protection automatically shuts off the motor in a possible current overload situation to help prevent damage to the saw.
Dust port located at the rear of the base measures 2-1/2" and can connect to a shop vac or dust collection system for a cleaner work environment. Standard accessories include: 10" 40-T Carbide Tipped Blade, blade guard assembly, anti-kickback pawl assembly, miter gauge assembly, push stick, rip fence assembly, VIC rip fence assembly, out feed support assembly, (2) blade wrenches, 4mm hex bar wrench and 2.5mm hex key.

The plastic part that fits on the fence is designed to be used while used with the crosscut slide. Set it up on the first portion of the fence and you can make repedative cuts with the crosscut slide, without binding against the fence.

The fence is supposed to align wit both the miter slots and the blade. Some like the blade to toe out at the rear to help with anti kick. Me I use the Align-it newer system and make sure EVERYTHING aligns as perfectly as I can humanly get it. I will be using my thin strip guage w/ roller bearing for thin cuts to the LEFT of the blade, if you cut this strips to the right of the blade with the fence on the right then wear baseball catcher's gear. Go ahead, pinch that thin strip between the blade and fence only after upping your life insurance.

Thank you for doing this Review @Tool Review Zone! Love it! Like button SMEESHED! I love the dewalt saws. The 7491RS saws are the best of the best for a corded jobsite saw. But I want this one for a FULL 10" cordless saw. It's a shame dewalt doesn't make a flexvolt 120v max like the miter saw, with the corded adapter. It would easily outsell all other table saws ever! But since they don't, I'll be looking to pick this one up. Thanks again brother! Love it!

... til' you lose a finger. I usually don't like the safety snobs, but that piece against the fence is being pinched and sooner or later it WILL catch a tooth, and violently kick back in your face, neck, nuggets.... It's not worth the guts or the glory... I think if after something like that happens, your new motto will be, "It pierced my guts, and my glory turned gory." That being said, good review. The fence system (rack and pinion) is the most important part in my opinion. I wish you would have explained why its iffy... does it bind? Can it be adjusted etc... also are the miter slots perfectly parallel to the blade, if not, does the motor/blade and harbor assembly have adjustments? If so, will the startup kick be too powerful to stay aligned? I did notice the slow startup, so that answers that one. In my hunt for precision portable saws, I've concluded they don't exist. It'll probably be awesome for ripping stuff on the jobsite, but what about fine woodworking? (Furniture, instruments, etc...) I'm waiting for the miracle of precision portable... I know, don't hold my breath. Wish I could review some sweet tools!

I bought one. I really wanted to like it, but it has a few flaws. The fence has to be adjusted before use. It is easy to set the fence parallel to the blade. It is a little harder to figure out how to set the fence square to the table. Use the tiny allen screws on the face of the fence. I find there is a little to much play in the rack and pinion for cutting melamine. You have to do the final adjustment of the fence by turning the knob the same direction every time. It seems fine for other material. The metal rub strips on the throat plate fell off on the second day. Try not to leave your saw in direct sunlight. The plug in power supply draws power continuously. It draws enough to activate my remote vacuum switch, so my vacuum runs continuously. The power supply also has a cooling fan. The fan comes on after being plugged in about 5 minutes. I find it annoying to listen to. I have not seen any reviewer mention this. I mounted a cut off switch on my saw stand to deal with both issues. The second switch is necessary if you want to use your vacuum while running the saw with the battery. The battery is perfect for service work after a house is completed. Plenty of power and run time. It is also great on a crowded job site. My saw would randomly shut off. It would do this on while plugged in and while on the battery. Under load and while idling. Metabo said to return it. After being without the saw for a month, I miss it. The convenience of the battery on a full size saw is amazing. I think I will buy another one, and hope the random shut off problem was isolated to my saw. Clint, please do not cut like that. We do not watch your channel for Emergency Room reviews. Thanks.

I think the saw is awesome and love the multivolt power and muscle of the motor. There is a little play in the fence that could compromise vertical squareness (versus horizontal square to the saw blade) of the work piece to the fence. This can be controlled for by When pushing the work piece against the fence during a cut. I would prefer the fence to be stationery and at a perfect 90 degrees to the table without any play. The play is minimal, however, it still exists. Maybe I need to tune up or somehow tighten the fence. I noticed a number of tiny hex set screws on the fence. All suggestions are welcome, thanks!

Great review, but dude I get nervous every time you pushed that piece past the blade with your finger. Please use the push stick. 😊Was debating between the Milwaukee and the Dewalt, but now it seems like I have another choice. And it seems like this has a larger rip-cut capacity.

I'm already very invested in the Hitachi/hikoki 18v and multivolt battery platform. Good, reliable gear all of it, and I love being able to work anywhere without a cord. Trouble is suddenly a corded tool is a pita because you have to go looking for a power supply, so you end up carrying a lot of mains tools in your van but never use them (but you carry them "just in case"). This saw has just come available in Britain, so thanks for the review, helped make up my mind. Anyone want to buy a used DW745?

Buying into the metabo would be a huge investment. Not worth it. One thing I do like tho is the cord option. They all should do that.

Hi TRZ, Wow, Metabo did this right with dual power. Now it does have some thing to change. This is going to really change the thoughts with the other brands about dual power for the table saw and miter saw cordless tools. DeWalt already has it on their miter saw. Can't wait to see how DeWalt flexvolt or 20v 10" table saw with dual power is going to look. Milwaukee says their will "NEVER" have a dual power tool. Only battery. Sorry but there're going to hate themself for sticking with that mentality. Like i mention before these 10", 12" blade tools need two batteries to run plus a cord adapter. Can't alway run these big tools on one 18v battery. I still use my corded table saw. I will just wait a little longer to see how these tools are going to improve in the near future. Thanks for the great video.

I can say that the mains power saw is accurate and powerful. I rip through hardwood with ease. I have a Honda generator, so if I really need to use the saw at a location without mains power I still can. Hence the battery version was not important to me and I'm happy with my purchase, apart from seeing that it's made in China. That was disappointing but other brands have done the same.

I doubt it bro. It would be awesome, but Milwaukee want to be 100% cordless and don't hide it. Not to mention they make a lot of money on those batteries bro

I’ve owned the saw since September ‘20 and think it’s a really fine machine. The dust collection port is conveniently located for attaching a hose and the extraction is quite effective. Of course, there will always be residual dust on the table and fence but it is minimal.

I don’t know? 70 lbs.. that’s a bit bulky for a “portable” saw.. also had the hitachi table saw for a while and went back to the dewalt. Not saying this saw is not better, that I don’t know? But the hitachi was cheaply made in my opinion.. do love the battery/cord option though. I think the cordless table saws are great for pick up/light work, but I like a cord for production work. Everything else cordless!!!

budget lol. This is a great saw and maybe over kill for a DIYer like myself. Loved the whole fence flip thing😍😀 I have an older Rockwell that I bought through the Habitat for Humanity re-store for $50, but it doesn't have a fence or miter gauge😫😫and really expensive to get them. When I called Rockwell they said the miter gauge alone would be $80 and after I picked my jaw up off the floor I didn't dare ask about the fence. By the time I could buy after market, I might as well buy a new saw. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and videos. Thanks for a Terrific Review. Rodney

Yeah, really not that great of a value You will be about $1200.00 if you go all in with this saw. Mine is pretty poor, table not flat front to back by more than a little. Table Inserts are not flat they have a ramp at the end that lift the board off the table.. Also the wonkie fence is not that good and is squared to the blade not the piss poor miter slots that have a huge bevel at the top. The miter gage is very sloppy in the miter slots. NO Stand included. Crap blade like all the rest so I added a Glue line Freud and a good Dado Stack 2 Batteries and the 120 to 36 v conversion accessory. Look at every thing this saw does not include before you jump in.

This saw is garbage. The power adapter keeps shutting the saw down as it cant supply enough power under load. The fence isnt square to the table. The fence sags by almost 3/16 at 30 inch. The fence lock keeps releasing. Dont believe the reviews! This saw is a waste of money. Metabo makes some great tools. This isnt one of them
