The graphics for this game on PS3/360 still hold up really well. The switch from 480p to 720p and above was the best thing to happen to gaming. Hands down.

I had P8 on the 360 Version. The noticeable differences on the PS2 version is quite staggering. Skate park being replaced, a ditch being added, and the ring around the pool no longer having the bamboo design.

Both are amazing but the ps2/original Xbox will always have a soft spot in my heart.

Crazy how u cant just skate to the next map like the ps3 version you had to pause and select it but both are still great

I had this on PS2 and I was so bummed when I saw how different it was from PS3

Super nice video, dude! Really interesting! Even the game running on ps2, we can see some cool details. Great job For both platforms (ps2 and ps3) Ps: I miss those days so much!

360 and original for me but I still do own this on the ps2....one of my first skateboarding games I beat...

This and Pro Skater 5 have the worst character customization ever

Obviously you have to have a computer capable of running games of that quality (graphically, I mean) but that's not exactly uncommon nowadays - hell, even low end gaming PCs can do it. That said, PS3 emulators themselves, like any other emulators (or any other pieces of software for that matter), have their flaws and aren't perfect but run games well enough that most people won't notice any of the issues.

I actually preferred the wasteland engine from the ps2 more than the proving ground type gameplay the ps3 had.

I think the ps3 graphics are good but ps2 better 🧐

I think it’s because of the ps3 version having too much bloom and maybe the game engine is slightly different

5 seconds in the "next gen" is already loading lmao kinda ironically funny

this game was a huge improvement from American Wasteland. The PS3 version looks great.

Nah not really. Project 8 is a step back if you ask me. It was the first time Tony Hawk's disappointed me as a kid. If I had to rank the games it'd be 9. THPS 8. THP 8 7. THPG 6. THPS 2 5. THPS 3 4. THPS 4 3. THUG 2 2. THUG 1. THAW (Project 8 would be at the bottom if Pro Skater 1 had manuals)
