All I want is Resident Evil 1 getting remade with RE engine. As great as the 2002 remake is, it's still ancient and needs to be brought into modern tech, it would be beautiful. So many opportunities to flesh out the story and characters as well and give it the love it deserves. There is no creepier atmosphere than the spencer mansion. A Masterclass in sheer atmosphere and suspense. Great sense of exploration in this dark, dank mansion that mysteriously fell silent and into disrepair with only the sound of a grandfather clock ticking throughout the hall. This sense of apprehensive curiosity washes over you to uncover the terror these faded walls contain, and about what pathetic wretch of a being could be slumped against a wall quietly moaning in brainless agony at the hands of some demonic fate in some dark room deep within in the bowls of this seemingly desolate sprawl. The music of the original game (and in some cases the 2002 version) embodied this tension and the slowly mounting dread perfectly. With 2026 approaching, the 30th anniversary of the og PS1 game in 1996, the timing may line up perfectly for a ReRemake. Fingers crossed.

My thoughts are 9 will be inspired by Outbreak 1 and 2. Using the rough story and set peices like the abandoned hosptial in the forrest. I think hunk and a rogues gallery of similar umbrella operatives could be in there along with the stars members. Because i think 9 will be a prequel set in the Arklay mountains and hopefully be open world. My favorite thing about the chainsaw demo of 4, was the dilapidated houses right where you start. The idea of ghost towns, mad hermits and unchecked mutations out in the woods is great. I love the idea of wendigos, shape shifters and lurching crazies with chainsaws and axes stalking the meadows and brooks of an over grown haunted forrest.

An RE5 Remake needs to be almost exactly like RE4 Remake, still action driven but quite toned down, with a merchant, No QTEs and bring back typewriter save points. Might be asking too much for an RE6 Remake to do the same, but it can be something different entirely from RE4 & RE5 Remakes. Code Veronica done in the style of RE2 Remake makes total sense.

I think it would be smartest to do nine first, and then five. If chris is in nine, that would encourage people to learn more about him. Giving the first game, Resident Evil as a whole more attention. involving Jill as a side character will motivate players interest in her characters development in previous games. Then Wesker being killed at the end. People would be more motivated to play 0 or CV to see what his character was like and what he did in the past leading to fives story. Putting Sheva into the story gives them another character to expand upon too. Making the game as a remake somehow different. More appealing to fans. Even being multiplayer again as well, probably get some new fans out of it again. Like in 2009.

Theyre most likely remake all re games because they make them a lot of money . Also remaking means make game from scratch so it will take atleast more than a decade for all remakes.

Hunk is long overdue and ORC should get next gen treatment for a squad based game before any of the other games especially shit like Code Veronica & RE 5. Much cooler characters and storyline

Capcom needs to remake another escape-raccoon-city style game. One with a free roam raccoon city and the surrounding areas, where a huge lobby of players can experience the outbreak from start to finish. The goal is simple: escape the city however possible, as soon as possible. Those who can’t escape will fall with the city.

Hunk game should be what RE3 Remake SHOULD have been. It should all be in Raccoon City and feature a lot of confined and dangerous areas where you have to backtrack strategically and maneuver around enemies using resources very selectively. It should be a true survival horror game, subverting expectations by having the well armed well trained Hunk be particularly vulnerable, just as the very first Hunk campaign in OG RE2.

Maybe with a resident evil chapter with hunk as protagonist we may know more external facts about the story. And obviusly what happened to hunk after racoon city. This game can finally put hunk as a protagonist and not only a secondary side of the franchise

If they ever make an modern RE Outbreak and package it with a playable OG version of RE Outbreak with it, I'd buy it!

Resident Evil zero could be a good remake, but I feel that it belongs best in its fixed camera position, if you imagined that map in third or first person at a much faster pace then the map would need a severe rework to accompany that, ruining its original feel.

Code Veronica deserves to be the next remake before anything else

If theyre still on Unreal Engine 4 id prefer they drop RE 5 first. CV, 0, 1, & 9 should all be Unreal Engine 5. This is why Hellblade 2 & Phantom Blade look so great

Honestly. I’m not really excited for future RE titles. I prefer the classics we all know and love to get a modern day remake. They really haven’t failed.. other that 3 to some degree. Otherwise, they’re been doing more for RE than the new titles in my opinion.

I hate the Resident Evil fan base. They don't support tank controls and they care more abou remakes than new games. and if the game came out 2005 or after it should not be remade. I agree. Unfortunately, they hinted at RE5R in the Separate Ways DLC. They played the RE5 music at the very last scene with Wesker, which makes me inclined to believe that this was an Easter egg to an RE5 remake.

My theory on the games being remade. Resident evil 1 Remake Resident evil 5 Remake Resident evil 6 (I hope Capcom fixes this game up) I liked it, but it can a lot better. Maybe less playable characters. and perhaps 6 could introduce us Ethan for Resident Evil 7) Code Veronica Remake Revelations 1 remake. And all of the games should have a third camera and a first camera perspective. All the games would have an updated story. This would give Capcom an opportunity to redo Resident Evil 6. Alot of ppl didn't like it. I thought it was okay. Some good parts and some bad parts. Maybe they can fix the storyline to 6 and tweak it so that it follows 5 and follows up to 7. More connective.

I really believe the developers IF they do remake RE5 they're going to change the entire environment because of the backlash it received being in Africa and most importantly shooting black people I highly doubt they'll make the same mistake twice and this will give them the opportunity to fix the story so it will start off right after RE4 thus also completely redoing RE6 and giving us the RE6 we were all hoping for and it will dive right RE7 and completely fixing all their flaws and story lines so everything will fall back in place they way it should had been from the start.

I would like a Resident Evil game where you play as a bad guy. Imagine a Wesker solo origin game that explains how he rose to power. Storyline that somehow ties in the entire franchise. Imagine he fights/manipulates ppl on both sides.

You guys really need to curb your expectations. Dusk golem is a known liar and yet people still believe his “leaks”. When he’s telling the truth it’s because he piggybacked off an actual leaker. The only games that are obviously in development are re9 and re5 remake, but that’s just common sense. Don’t trust anything he says. He contradicts himself all the time.
