Tonlé Sap Lake: An Ecosystem in Delicate Balance | SLICE
A lake that reverses course twice a year to fill up and empty with the seasons? Yes it does exist! Cambodia’s “beating heart” Tonlé Sap Lake is one of the most unique ecological water wonders in the world. But it has been nominated as the world’s most “threatened lake”. To understand what makes it special, fishermen who live in the lake's floating village tell us about this environmental hotspot.
Extract from the documentary: “The secret life of lakes - Tonlé Sap, the Beating Heart of Cambodia”
Direction: Bernard Guerrini & Mathias Schmitt

Thank you so much for a very well done presentation. As many of us go about our busy lives in large cities we tend to forget the fragility of the worlds ecosystem that we all share. We seem to close our eyes as to any problems that may arise in outlying areas that support all life on this planet.

Ok
Cambodia can easily promote many more tourists to the country by advertise the Tonle Sap as the biggest lake in Southeast Asia.
